I disagree. That was a pretty blatant PI. The defender can go for the all,but not through the offensive player. Yes, I know theleaguedoesntwantto reverse. PI. But that one was so blatant, it was worth gambling a timeout. And after a few replays on the Jumbotron, the refs, and everone o the field, would know the refs effed up. And they'd give Bflo a makeup call McD had an extra minute between quarters to think it over. I sorta think he choked.

Allen 4th and 1 opinions wanted

Not sure it was a pass play, but if you look closely it's oretty clearAlen was backing out, so it wasn't a QB sneak. Either a pass play or bootleg run I think. -
Cribs and Singeltary have very different running styles. Cribbs was a glider with exceptional vision and speed. Singeltary is start and stop, quick change of direction and acceleration, low center of gravity. His style is is actually reminiscent of Barry Sanders. Not quite as sudden as Sanders was. No one is. But the same running style.

Ive got to say it stunning how many people don't understand this play. Did the ball clearly go forward? yes or no? from the replays I saw, there was no evidence that the ballwent forward. If if it didn't clearly go forward, then it's a backward pass and a TD for buffalo. The replay officials reversed the call. Where is the clear irrefutable evidence that the ballwent forward? A pretty simple question; I've not seen the answer in these 4 pages. Please realize that the answer has to be a picture or video or statement from an expert who has reviewed same. All the rest, especially comments from the Pats fan,is simply a waste of electrons.

For the last time guys, just because your ARM is going forward doesnt mean that the BALL will go forward. Watch the Harlem Globetrotters some time. Or pretend that you threw a ball just barely forward, into a 60 mph wind, and it fell behind you. Its where the ball goes, not your arm. In this case, it looked like Bakers arm was going sideways, not perpendicular with respect to the LOS.

When Allen runs that play the ball clearly goes forward. I'm not sure it did on this play.

This has nothing to d with Bills goggles. His arm wasn't hit. It's simple. If the ball moved forward, it was a forward pas. If it didn't go forward, it wasn't.

I don't know shooter. In the clip you linked, you can't see the ball the instant it leaves his hand. But it looks like the release point is just over the yard line, and the ball hits the ground just at the yard line. If it's a millimeter behind, then it's a backward pass, by definition. How could the officials a be so certain that the ball went forward. Certainly not based on that clip.

I get it wasn't a fumble. Was it a forward pass? from the views shown, it looked like the ball went straight down, not forward, from the instant it left his hand. in which case it was a backward pass, recoverable by the defense.

Strong winds forecasted for Bills v Birds

I'll never forget a game in the mid 1980s. Steelers punter had a punt get caught in the wind and it went for -9 yds.
