  1. Prater just now looked like a homeless dude sipping on some MD 20/20
  2. Funny thing is all these NFL experts with the 100 yd game stats don't realize that Allen gained 101 vs JAX until he lost 4 yds on kneeldowns at the end of the game.
  3. There are basically two types of missed calls. 1) an obvious foul that the officials don't call 2) a non-foul that the officials do call i can accept missed calls much more easily than phantom calls. the personal foul on 97 was a horrible call. Guy was just celebrating after his TFL. Watch the Dolphins first TD. The WR drops the ball right at DB feet. Why wasn't that taunting? And the PI on Milano was bogus as well. Bills FO needs to hassle the NFL officiating and say this is unacceptable. Show all of the specific bogus calls and non-calls. And McD and Beane need to subtly suggest that NFL officiating is horrendous in all of their interviews. It's not whining, it's making it clear to nfl that their is a problem.
  4. If Jags can lose 7 straight no reason we can't win 7 straight.
  5. I know the best DL keep their jerseys really, really tight, so OL cant hold them. But is it legal to put vaseline on the jerseys? It should be. Ref: Hey you have vaseline on your jersey. Why? Hughes: I aint planning on throwing no spitballs. Just trying to keep those fat boys from grabbing on to me. Ref: Unsportsmanlike, # 55.
  6. I'm betting he'd stone All-NHL right wing Jalen Ramsey....
  7. I remember that year well. Was my first year as a Bills fan. Went to the Rockpile for my first pro game. Saw Namath throw 8 TD passes in the game. But 3 of them were to the Bills, who won 37-35! Remember that Raiders game on TV. Was heartbroken when Rutkowski fumbled on the 5-10 yd line, Bills trailing the mighty Raiders only 13-10. Remember the ball laying on the field for an eternity before covered by the Raiders. Still think it was OOB and a bad call. Fast forward 15 years. I was a resident at CHOB, sitting in the residents office (really more of a closet) on Hodge St. My fellow residents were talking Bills football. And how bad they were (this is 1984). One of the other residents pipes up. "Not as bad as in 1968. They couldnt protect their QBs at all". Guys name was Bob Darragh (now a pediatric cardiologist). His bother's name was Dan.
  8. "The good news is that the former Wyoming quarterback has an above-average pass-blocking group in front of him, according to our pass block win rate metrics from NFL Next Gen Stats." All i need to know to know that these dudes are clueless...
  9. Ahh...that's not a foul. Both players were lowering their pad level, as has been taught for 100 years. Neither were defenseless, no one launched. Edelmans foul was textbook targeting. He 1) led with his helmet on 2) a defenseless punt coverage guy who was not expecting to get crunched after Edelman called for a fair catch, and 3) left his feet and launched. Textbook targeting. FWIW, I'm betting that he gets a call from the NFL office.
  10. Two things: 1) Clearly an illegal, late hit, leading with helmet to boot. 2) I think its more likely a contusion than sprain. Sprains occur when a joint is stretched beyond its normal limits. Watch the replay. Joint doesnt seem to be stretched/torqued, its damage due to forceful direct contact. More likely contusion than sprain. Still may take several weeks to heal.
  11. Better explanation here.
  12. You're nuts this is Allens 4th game. Let it play out.
  13. Yikes!! JJ drops as many as he catches. McSorely as Edelman, maybe. Was recruited as a safety out of high school.
  14. Is there something wrong with me if I'd ask for Holly Sonders to be the sideline reporter?
  15. Daboll was really saying it was a bang-bang play. Judgement call. Couldnt prove that Allen had possession, so call on field stood. I dont have the play recorded, but I think Allen had possession, even for a microsecond, before he nudged it forward. Its like a touch pass in hockey. You have control on your stick, if only for the briefest of time. Still say it was a bad call.
  16. I agree with Hapless. But someone posted in this thread that Daboll said it was a fumble at his press conference. Is this correct, or did above poster misquote Daboll?
  17. Just to clarify-- Daboll said he thought it was a fumble, or Daboll says that why the officials called it a fumble. It was precisely the same play as last week that was a completion of a 1 yd pass.
  18. Bills ran that exact play last week, and we were chuckling that Allen had a completion on a ball that traveled less than a yard in the air. That was a pass last week, so this week its a..... fumble??? I'm sure the Bills will send the NFL office those two plays, and tell them to get the call right next time!!!
  19. I think so.. maybe be its time to remind Chris Childers of his hot take .... https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/09/id_take_bama_over_buffalo_bills_says_college_football_analyst_chris_childers.html
  20. Bills rusher literally pulled down by his jersey.
  21. I think we have a QB, ladies and gents.
  22. Trading down would be my first choice. Between Bosa and Oliver, I'd take Oliver. His game is very very similar to Aaron Donald. Also, Bosa just suffered a fairly significant injury that will keep him out until the endo of the season at best.
  23. "if you want it bad enough and you work hard enough you can make it happen in America" So, I'm 5'8" , 170 lbs, 60 yrs old. If I work really really hard, can I play DT for the Bills?
  24. Wow. This play by play guy is the worst I've ever heard. Doesnt know the down. Doesnt know yardage. y guy is the worst I've ever heard. And thats saying a lot.Doesnt know the players. Too stupid to realize Jarvis Landry's "blocking" earned them two OPI penalties. And complete Browns homer. But hey, he knew 84 was Jack Nicklaus grandson, so bonus points there. Edited to clarify--this was the NFL Network feed. Guys name was Crawford, I think. Pretty sure its the Browns team crew.
