Your last sentence is true. But it is also true that there are no certainties in any area of medicine. Doctors and public health officials have decades of experience in making the best decision based on all available data. your next to last sentence is, literally, nonsense. In that it makes no sense. It’s a logical fallacy. if I make $1000/day for seven days, and you make $1000/day for one day, who has more money at the end of a week?

Dion Dawkins, Stefon Diggs named to Pro Bowl
pennstate10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
seriously, who cares. To paraphrase some old dude named Levy, "i dont want pro-bowl players, I want super bowl players" -
Sweeney and Dawkins might take issue with your last statement.

Hmmm...... Everyone (ie, 100%) down to 50% in just 30 minutes. You must have a really dynamic information feed.

Agree. The estimate of 15 is high. Its really early days, but most experts have estimated it to be from 3-10. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanres/article/PIIS2213-2600(21)00559-2/fulltext

100% chance that statement is wrong.

What I stated is absolutely correct with respect to public health. You seem to be arguing that the NFL should be stricter with their public health and virus containment rules. I don't disagree with stricter protocols with respect to vaccinated players, but they MAY not be necessary. If you dont understand the difference between vaccinated and boosted individuals, and unvaccinated individuals, then I'm not sure we can have a productive discussion.

Beasley sure aint the sharpest tool in the shed. The rules preventing him from playing aren't designed to support him or his health. They are designed to support the health of everyone he comes in contact with. So many of these rocket scientists dont understand the concept of PUBLIC health.

Bob, quick question, did you always support murderers? “Former football star and TV commentator Bob Chandler, who stood by his friend O.J. Simpson when he was accused of murder, “ https://greensboro.com/ex-o-j-teammate-bob-chandler-dies/article_adb7518e-a212-5ff0-8d7a-d9a2d0091276.html There’s an old saying about glass houses, but I sorta forget how it goes.

not cool to say Bills benefit from an injury. I get you’re trying to make a joke, but it’s not particularly clever, and really not cool.

If the Bills re-sign Edmunds, they're stupid.

I’m not exactly sure where to put this, but Joe Buscaglia has a great write up on the walk off TD pass in the Athletic. It’s behind a pay wall, but worth it. How did the Bills defense fall apart on the Buccaneers’ OT winner? All-22 film review in a nutshell, Pats had crossers. Either 39 or 30 missed the call. Probably 30 cause he’s new. Edmunds did his best to clean up the mess. He’s not at fault for this play. -
Change Pass Interference to 15 yd penalty (edited title)

Really? not sure what college games you’re watching. Maybe you can give a few examples because I don’t think I’ve seen this all season. -
Change Pass Interference to 15 yd penalty (edited title)
pennstate10 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, i dont know, I'd take it a step further. the logic for making DPI a spot foul, even if it leads to a 50 yd penalty, is that you're assuming the reciever would have caught the ball, if not for the DPI. Everyone agree? So, using that same logic, the penalty for OPI should assume that, if not for the interference, the defender woudl have caught the ball. Therefore OPI should be a turnover, same as an interception. I dont think anyone would be happy with that rule. So...... ipso facto, presto chango Spot foul makes no sense. Should be a 15 yd penalty either way...DPI or OPI. -
It stuns me that some Bills fans have such a poor understanding of the game. when there are two evenly matched teams, poor officiating can and will be the difference. Im not one of those people who think that the NFL is rigged, but an awful lot of poor calls and no calls went in Tampas favor today. The announcers and former NFL head of officiating pointed several of thes out. It was the difference in the game today.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think that there is much difference between 59 and 61 %.

Sorry dude, you’re simply wrong. I don’t know whether you’ve ever played organized football. but a cardinal rule of pass routes is to never have 2 guys within 5 yds of each other when the ball is thrown. -

Bad play design on that last play. beasley and Davis too close together on their routes allowed the pats safety to come off Beasley. -
