11/28 Football: Tennessee @ New England 1 pm on CBS

The BBFS is strong here. Why does New England being decent mean things are going to return to the way they were? Last I checked we have a proven HC/GM combo in place and a legit franchise qb -

That should have been picked. I could have run to the fridge to get a beer and returned to the TV before the ball reached its destination -

The Pats seem to have a giant horseshoe stuck up their #$% right now -

He's not. Let's see... HOF caliber coach and OC? Check Top 5 Oline? Check 2 Top Tier Tight Ends? Check Arguably the best running game in the league? Check Top 5 defense in football? Check About the only thing this guy doesn't have in his favor is great wideouts. Literally everything else is conducive to stepping in immediately and having success while not being asked to do too much. As someone else said, imagine if Allen had a Oline/running game like theirs -

No kidding. All damn day to throw and guys with no one around them. Sorry, but not impressed with Jones. Any qb could be making these throws -
Around the NFL This Sunday 11/28 (Bills mini-bye)

Titans are just going to give this away. The lack of recognition by their defense on the end around and screen play was pathetic. -
All of this true. But Brady has always been miscast as lacking arm strength or throwing short passes only. The Bills alone were victimized many times by his down the field passing. I would go so far as say that even at 44, Brady has a better arm than Mac. I just don't see the flat out arm talent in Jones as anywhere near his predecessor's, and that is something that is highly unlikely to change. Doesn't mean the Pats can't be annual contenders with him, though.

Bills v. Saints Game Day Thread First Half - 11/25/21
buffblue replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Should be up minimum of 16-0 with the momentum and the game almost out of reach. That was NOT a good half of football against a severely depleted team -
All the "good thing there's another game in a few days" thinking is flawed imo. The Bills are reeling at the moment, and it's hard to see them getting their act together in such a short period against a team well equipped to do the same thing to us that Indy did. Add in another potential offensive struggle against a usually stout Saints D, and it could be a long Thanksgiving evening. Sure as hell hope I'm wrong

Can't decide how I want this one to end. All I know is I can't stand the rednecks from Pennsyltucky

Exactly. What a crazy call to give it to Ekeler, a small finesse rb when you have a 6 foot 6 beast of a qb. Horrible call

Fair enough, and it better start on the offensive side of the ball. Allen simply shoulders more of the load than any other qb in football. -

Agree except for the last part. For some reason, McBeane thought that simply resigning guys from last year was the ticket. There is no correlation, and as the old saying goes, if you're not getting better you're getting worse -
Damn, that sucks man. Used to do the same for a lot of years. Enjoy the extra loot, but I'd consider a Kirk Chambers or Andy Levitre jersey instead. Maybe even Derrick Dockery lol

Another team with a big, strong offensive Line and Kamara most likely back. It's true the game should be closer because of the Saints qb and dearth of offensive weapons, but I see the Saints front just mutilating our Oline. Probable low scoring, frustrating game on tap. The Saints will be every bit as desperate as we are.

For what it's worth living in Charlotte, Panthers fans could not contain their excitement when Eric Washington was no longer around. At this point I can agree with them -

No. His voice is absolutely grating. He's the male Beth Mowins -
To be clear my concern is about this specific game if Klein and Dodson/Smith are out there. If Milano and Edmunds are available against the Pats (which there's no reason they shouldn't be), I would not be too worried about their TE's. The key there will be staying physical and stopping the run.
-
If Milano and Edmunds were both out that would be concerning for coverage in the middle of the field. I feel Klein is adequate enough against the run, but pass d is not his strong suit. We got burned by Doyle and Alie-Cox in the WC game a decent amount with both Edmunds and Milano active. Not that the Colts TE's are world beaters, but its an area we could be exploited at.

What bearing does our AFC South record have on this game? And now we are not just going to lose because of this news, but it is going to be in lopsided fashion? This is a bull#$@% post

The team would have great depth as I believe Rivers has 27 kids as of last count
