  1. I agree with the QB argument. I just worry that it won't matter with Dennison as a coordinator. I don't trust him developing a rookie or even excelling with a veteran We had ties to Mike McCoy, he's available. Possibly Jim Caldwell as well
  2. I'm trying to find a list of available offensive coordinators online but can't really seem to find one
  3. I understand you didn't bring up Brees and Rivers but I don't know how you can say it's completely irrelevent to bring them up when your saying that Cousins went 7-9 in a down year in his division as if the 7-9 record is a reason to not bring him on board. I brought up Brees and Rivers to say that the 7-9 argument is stupid when Brees and Rivers haven't done much better the past few seasons either yet they put up much better stats than he did. The entire AFC West had a down year to but Philip Rivers, who's much better wasn't able to do any better than 9-7 and second place in his division.
  4. The point I'm trying to make is you were basically trying to say that with Cousins the Redskins went 7-9 like it was completely his fault that that happened. You're right, Cousins isn't in Brees's or Philip Rivers class but that just makes your argument even dumber because they are better QBs yet they haven't made the playoffs in the past few years as well, yet I'm willing to bet you would take either one of them on our team. Cousins is better than Tyrod. He can make throws that Tyrod can only dream of making. There is just no point in saying that one of the reasons we shouldn't go after Cousins is because the Redskins went 7-9 with him.
  5. I'm so tired of people bringing this point up. They act like the QB is the whole team. The Redskins don't have the best defense in the world and don't really have the best coaching staff. I mean how good is Jay Gruden really? Cousins has actually lost some talent this past season. Pierre Garcon left, DeSean Jackson left, Jordan Reed missed majority of the season and he hasn't really had a running game to take take the pressure off. Drew Brees and the Saints have been mediocre the past few seasons until this season going 7-9 and 8-8 a few times but Brees has always put up pro bowl numbers. The Saints have finally fixed their D which is why they have been more successful this season not to mention their running game has been better than in years past as well. When was the last time the Chargers made the playoffs? Yet they have a borderline HOF QB in Philip Rivers. It's not Cousins why the Redskins are a mediocre team. Cousins is worlds better than Tyrod
  6. Anyone else think he looks like Herman Munster?
  7. In case anyone would like to watch the game with the miracle ending that put us in the playoffs
  8. Andrew Luck is overrated. For the millionth time
  9. Everyone should try to jinx the Ravens, Chargers, Dolphins and Titans. Submit lineups of only players from these 4 teams in fan duel. I'm hoping if I do this that thise teams will all crap the bed but if not then you win big money. No lose situation lol
  10. How do we only have a 13% chance? If we win and Ravens lose which does seem unlikely, we are in. Almost sounds like a 50/50 thing to me
  11. The Colts gave the Ravens a hard time in their own stadium. The Bengals are better than the Colts at least. So at least we can hope on that
  12. That's a little drastic wouldn't you say? We don't really need the Ravens to lose. It would have helped but the main thing is beating ME tomorrow and what TEN and LA does
  13. Because we want a 3 way tie at 9-7 with us, the Titans and Chargers. If the Titans lose out and it comes down to just us and the Chargers we lose out on head to head
  14. I feel like it's been more of a problem with Management, front office and coaching the last few seasons as opposed to talent. I think if we would have stuck with Marrone and kept Schwartz we would already be a contender. With McDermott and Beane now, I trust them to build around the right players. I don't think draft position is as important as it was. We should never settle for tanking. We have the longest drought in North American sports. Lets get to the playoffs if we can and build from there
  15. How has being bad for so long helped the Browns? Oh yeah, that's right, they are still horrible. They have been trying to build that thing for years and still haven't done anything
  16. No, this is actually right. We hold a 3 way tie breaker with the Chargers but we don't hold a 3 way tie breaker with KC. If LA wins the division we need the Titans to lose all 3 of their remaining games. If KC wins, the Titans need to lose 2 of their next 3 but one of those 2 has to be the Jags game week 17. If the Bills, Titans and Chargers all end 9-7 with a Chargers loss to KC, the Bills would get in and the Chargers would be the odd team out. If the Bills, Titans and Chiefs all end 9-7 and the Chargers beat the Chiefs and win the division, the Bills are the odd team out even with the head to head against the Chiefs. Head to head only counts when it's just between the Bills and Chiefs
  17. If the Chiefs beat the Chargers We beat the Dolphins this week And the Titans lose one of their next two Week 17 will then come down to us beating the Dolphins and the Titans losing to the Jags. If this happens, the drought ends
  18. You're putting way too much emphasis on this stuff. You act like he is the whole team. You have to have more than just a QB to be successful. A better QB than Tyrod which he is will make your team better. How many playoff games has Drew Brees won in the last 3 years? How many Super Bowls did Dan Marino win? Those are Hall of Fame QBs that didn't have the extra pieces they needed to make a run but you better believe the Dolphins wouldn't have even had a chance without Marino. He made that team better than it was. What other assets does Kirk have around him in washington? The defense isn't that great. He lost his two main receivers and his tight end is always hurt and he is still much better than anything we have had the last 15 years. The first step toward a successful franchise is a 4000 yard passer. Once you do that and put the necessary pieces around him then you have a contender
  19. I fail to see how he won't make this team any better than Tyrod has. Cousins is a better QB all around than Tyrod is and actually takes chances. He will make the team better even if it's slightly better. If they draft the right players and make a couple other moves in free agency then we can be a lot better
  20. If we can find out where this list of properties being bought in a particular area or whatever that you claim is where the stadium will be built, why not just tell us where it is? Is it really that big a deal? I mean if the stadium will actually be built there then we will find out at some point anyway
  21. The Jags also have the head to head against the Steelers as well. A Steelers loss next week possibly makes the Jags playing for the #2 seed week 17
