I was just ready to say this. The KC receivers are always wide open...especially Tyreek...plus they are fast, so if the ball is not entirely accurate, they can go get it. Mahomes is good, but he's got an outstanding supporting cast.
KJ Osbourne...former UB Bull. Transferred to Miami via the portal to get better draft exposure.
Agreed. They look solid this year. Takes the sting out of Penn State sucking.
You know how Josh Allen said the loss in the playoffs was on his mind and motivated him during the off season? How do you think he's feeling after yesterday's loss?
Okay...it's a painful loss, no doubt. More painful for the players I suspect. I actually was more concerned about this game than Seattle...mostly because of Kyler Murray's mobility. I became even more concerned with all the players out due to covid and the Cards getting more healthy in their secondary while we suddenly lost a good chunk of our own. An injured Bills team lost a very close game. Bills made untimely mistakes on offense and the D gave up a lucky play at the end...made by a great WR with more height and stronger hands than our DBs. It hurts but it's not the end of the world.
There have been some surprises in the Big 10 this year. Unexpected teams playing great and displacing former good teams playing poorly. Through the years OSU has been consistent. BTW another thing that has hurt Penn State this year has been their running game. Tough break for Journey Brown.
I agree with this for the most part. With respect to the "bad contracts," they weren't "bad" until we found out that the salary cap will be greatly reduced next year due to Covid. He did try to unload Murphy it seemed with his downturn in playing this year. However there were no takers. Covid F'd things up this year as well with opt outs. Too late to do anything at that late date.
Beane is playing the long game. In light of next year's cap situation, he didn't want to mortgage the future for a short term "potential" fix. From what I understand, the Bills were in on Leveon Bell. He chose the Chiefs. I was hoping for some help at DT...but no one was selling apparently. I guess you have to weigh how much better would the team be with player X added at this point in the season...versus riding with the guys you've got...especially if you're looking at a one year rental.
Clifford has not been sharp and turns the ball over. Parsons opt out hurt the defense. UB and Central Michigan are doing well in the MAC so, at least two of my alma maters are doing well. Ohio State looks unbeatable...at least in the Big 10.
When you're watching the Red Zone channel...and they constantly cut to the Bills game...and it's almost always the Bills in the red zone...or making the great defensive play...it's a good day!
