  1. I do respect the time and thought put into this, but I just don't like the cutting of Morse. The only way to keep Allen from regression is to keep him clean and standing. Morse has played well and is by no means a liability to get Allen killed. Though I recognize the concussion risk, its tough to assess players over fear of injury. And I really think we go LB if ND or tulsa falls to us, and definitely if edge rush falls to us or even OL before we go secondary.
  2. I do want a good pass catching back. But unless he comes very cheap I see beane getting a pass catching rb on a rookie deal in the later rounds
  3. I agree to a certain extent, but I think just as the league is becoming more and more a passing league, I think the league also becomes an defensive organic pressure on the qb league. I agree you need a high powered offense but if your having a shoot out and your D can disrupt or at the least make an opposing qb uncomfortable in the pocket with just front 4 and no blitz thats a massive advantage.
  4. I go back and forth, I do think buffalo has a legit chance mainly because we don't have Rodgers. I feel like a guy like watt doesn't want to go to team and be joining a Rodgers legacy or a Brady legacy. I think the bills is kinda a perfect match cuz Allen isn't a household name yet. The bills are already contenders, he could join, go to a super bowl win and its looked like watt took them there, and no rogers legacy to shadow his. You go to the super bowl with Rodgers/Brady they are winning sb mvp no matter what, and you "helped" them win another sb. you come to bills and win, its looked as hes the savior and for sure getting sb mvp. Or I could be completely wrong and watt wants a super bowl more than anything and signs with who thinks will win.
  5. Looks fake but honestly if he came cheap.. what's the harm? Ya he can't stay healthy, but even if he's lost a step he's still faster than most, and when he's healthy he's played as an elite deep threat at times. But if beane paid too much for him then ya I wouldn't be excited about it.
  6. I think from what was said about Milano, williams is on the priority list over Milano. Williams isn't a cool flashy signing but if there's one way to keep Allen from regressing it's keeping Allen upright. I'm always good with money spent on O line.
  7. I agree that it's unlikely that we go LB 1 and 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did (if Milano walks). McDs defense depends so heavily on LBs and I just don't see beane and mcd paying big money for edmunds that played decent at best this year, and got absolutely toyed with by mahomes. We will have to get Milanos replacement this year, and we could bring up edmunds replacement as well. Going into 2022 with two solid LBs on cheap rookie deals, instead of having to exercise edmunds or pay premium for a FA.
  8. Really depends on Milano and possibly watt. If the bills get neither and don't get a plug and play LB in FA I think you have to go after the ND LB if he slides, or if collins from Tulsa get to us. But I would not be surprised at all if our rd 1 and 2 picks are LBs. Because after edmunds play this year can/ will beane pay edmunds a massive contract? cuz someone else will. Might be in this same situation again, forced to go LB instead building somewhere else.
  9. Either was foles, but Reichs offense made foles and Wentz look elite, and Wentz put up elite numbers under reich. Now Wentz is back with Reich, with a better Oline and better D.
  10. Thank you, so many people calling me crazy for saying this exact thing. Reich knows exactly how to utilize Wentz, reich was the mastermind behind wentzs almost mvp season. And people forget Wentz was getting murdered behind the eagles o line. Now he goes to one of the best. Great diversity at RB duo, and some young emerging wrs. Excellent defense. Im not saying Wentz is still mvp caliber, but the Colts will be a serious AFC team.
  11. I wouldn't say Fitzpatrick himself made the offense dangerous, but as a team ya the dolphins played elite D and Fitzpatrick lead them to alot of wins with arguably the least talented wr core in the nfl. How does his playoff injury make him a bad QB? He still got them all the way there. And reich was in charge of that offense, that made him almost NFL mvp. Now Wentz would be reunited with Reich, with an elite O line, young emerging recivers and rbs, and an excellent defense. I'm not saying Wentz is an nfl mvp, he was bad this year. But he could be put into an even better situation than when he took the eagles to the playoffs.
  12. I agree, but I think you could get a few years if he stays healthy. Even if he's only on the feild on 3rd down to rush the qb he's a force you have to account for no matter his age
  13. You must not have watched the playoff game vs the bills. Rivers had over 300 yards and 2 tds. If his recievers didn't drop 2 catchable passes the bills wouldnt have a playoff win this year. Rivers played way better against us than Jackson. Im not saying rivers was elite, im saying the Colts were a dangerous team that could have beaten the bills lead by rivers who limited them in some aspects. Wentz is light years more athletic and can make huge plays. Somewhat above average? I'm not a huge Wentz fan by any means, but he was the clear cut nfl mvp and got the eagles to the playoffs. Who was calling his plays? Reich.
  14. It would be nice, trim some fat off the cap space on the D line, probably have to let Milano walk, maybe cut smoke. If we get watt, draft LB I'd feel good about that. But I'd love to keep smoke and get watt in a perfect world.
  15. Agreed, he wants a superbowl. And hometown hero.
  16. Allen works off trust, he trusts Beasley and diggs to make a tough catch or even make a defender miss and pick up the first. Singletary never really provided that on passes, mainly cuz a LB can catch Singletary from behind. He didn't have that burst. I really don't think it was the drops or Allen not willing to take an easy dump off, I think its more Allen trusting literally any other player on the feild to make a play on a pass over Singletary.
  17. Especially for what we need, we don't really need a generational talent bell cow. We just need that rb with difference making speed that can catch a dump off from josh and can out run LBs and make defenses have to account for swing pass, screen, or even draws.
  18. I would love a great athlete at RB, but our need at LB could be absolutely dire this year. If we took 2 LBs in a row I wouldn't bat an eye. Then roll the dice on a speedy rb in late rounds, or sign a team friendly deal on a speedy FA RB.
  19. I thought the same, reunited with Reich I'm sure is what Wentz wants. And the Colts were dangerous this year with rivers.
  20. Agreed, mahomes made him look bad, looked him off all game and shredded him. But its tough for a lb to cover with no pass rush. My biggest disappointment with edmunds is getting completely taken out of running plays by anyone, including pass catching TEs. How are you a pro bowl LB and your getting consistently blocked completely out of a play by a 2nd string TE?
  21. Completely agree, it's kind of a good thing it's not more known in the nfl that we spent the most on our D line in the league and its one of the worst, pretty embarrassing. So many teams become laughing stock because they spend the most on qbs and wrs and it fails, mean while the bills are flying under the radar with a complete money pit at D line.
  22. Agreed, if any QB had those stats against the cheifs all season thats not enough. But I won't take anything from Brady, he did what he needed and capitalized on that penalty for a td and that felt like the turning point of the game.
  23. Honestly this is what beane and mcd thought they were getting this 2020 season, weapons for josh, and spend a fortune on the D line. Have an elite D and josh only needs to manage and score a few times. Instead it went opposite. On the bright side, I dont really think they can get worse, and look where we got, and star will be back. I hope that an elite LB falls to us at 30, if not go weapon for josh.
  24. Everyone will talk about Brady, but that bucs D... The way to beat mahomes is to cause pressure but not to blitz him. And the bucs front D owned the cheifs O line, and the young talented bucs LBs covered kelce well and Brady took advantage of bonehead penalties and that's all she wrote. Take note buffalo D line, the cheifs can be dethroned as the kings of AFC.
