  1. Never been much of a "signature" kind of guy but I would really like to have a conversation with him. He had one heck of a ride in the league from draft day to retirement. Imagine the stories he could tell if he opened up and was honest.
  2. I was thinking about how this offseason feels like it could be a different version of what the bills did in 89. For those not old enough to remember, the Bills had some success in the late 80s, making it to the AFC Championship in 88 and then losing a divisional game against the Browns the following year in 89. It was late in that 89 season/playoffs that the Bills discovered their K-gun offense. That Browns game ended with a Ronnie Harmon drop in the end zone. He criticized Kelly's throw and that offseason he was moved. They came back the next year with the new offensive mentality and lit the league on fire. We have had some success. Towards the end of this season and into our playoff games we shifted our focus on offense and had a playoff game where we had a skill player drop what could have been a game winning touchdown, who then criticized the QB and was subsequently moved in that off-season. That year following that 89 loss was the greatest Bills team of the superbowl era. I can only dream that our 2024 team finishes the job.
  3. Usually will never hate on a Offensive Linemen getting picked, unless it's Cole Strange. I am just surprised because it seemed like Bowers was such an obvious pick for the Jets there.
  4. Thats dedication. I'm in Japan so it's the late morning. 1pm EST start time games are rough on me though haha
  5. Same. i am watching on a military installation on AFN so i dont have any other option and they all seemed genuinely surprised by the pick
  6. Watch the Jets take JJ to sit and learn behind Aaron
  7. I am convinced I would trip over the carpet and face plant
  8. I don't know if some of these posts are satire or if they are serious.
  9. I love the throwback Broncos uniforms. But the late 90s and 2000s uniforms were some of the worst. These ones give off strong Syracuse and Auburn vibes (as others have mentioned). I still think it is a step up from what they had.
  10. I am so torn on what I think we should do with this pick(s). If you go back just one year further to 2014 you have, probably the best WR draft ever. We moved up in that draft to get Watkins and it didn't really pan out for us. That draft had Evans, OBJ, Watkins, Adams, Landry, Cooks, Benjamin, Robinson amongst others. So do we package a ton of picks to move up to get 1 guy who we really like or try to maneuver to pick up a few of these highly touted WRs? ...in Beane I trust, I guess.
  11. One of the toughest things for successful teams in sports to do is to move a declining player early, rather than late. Hopefully that is what we did here. His numbers down the stretch would imply as much. I really hate that we moved him within the conference. I would have much rather seen him in the NFC. The Cap hit this year is significant but it looks like it frees up a lot moving forward. Time for Kincaid and Shakir to step up. This year's Draft just got a helluva lot more important, and it was already shaping up to be crucial. In Beane I still trust.
  12. Sign a bunch of the free agent Tight Ends again Now that the "greatest GM of all time" is gone, they will likely do something more logical.
  13. McDermott is a great leader of men and head coach. Beane is a top 5 GM in the league. Each post-season, it just comes down to health and a few bounces to determine who wins it all. And lastly, Our time will come.
  14. The Patriots are Boston's team and I want all things Boston to lose always, all of the time, forever until I die. The Chiefs are more of a respect thing that, when we do finally overcome them, is going to feel so great and our Super Bowl that year will be that much sweeter.
  15. I played High School basketball and we would practice at the same time that wrestling practice was going on. I used to be amazed at the amount of cardio that they would do. All of the running and jump roping, etc. It seemed endless. We did have a phenomenal wrestling program though. Basketball? Not so much... lol ~Niagara Wheatfield
