  1. Most coaches don't win superbowls, because it is extremely difficult to do. So, there is a whole slew of stats around coaches not winning superbowls. None of them say much else besides the fact that superbowls are extremely hard to win. Only 35 coaches have won a superbowl. Of those, only 14 have won more than one. We are talking about a rare thing. It puts the greatness of dynasties like the Patriots into perspective. What they did was so improbable, it is nearly statistically impossible. And yet, we are in the midst of another dynasty with the Chiefs.
  2. You're almost there!
  3. I think I have to see how the season goes at least a little before I can say for sure.
  4. It is the commisioners job to be an owner puppet, haha. He works for them.
  5. We'll see. He was getting his legs massaged and eating bananas for potassium and magnesium, which helps relieve cramps.
  6. I think he has been cramping up all game.
  7. Thank the heavens for Josh Allen. Games without him are just not that fun to watch. QB's who aren't Josh Allen just look so mediocre.
  8. This game feels very long.
  9. Wow, Love is not looking good. I thought he was better than this.
  10. Wow. Why was Hurts not calling plays?
  11. So true. But watching CJ Stroud last year was like watching another Allen or Mahomes. That dude can sling it. Obviously, he has to show he can be consistently good, but he has the talent.
  12. Dang, I've got Watson on my fantasy team. Two chances for a TD there...
  13. I said at the time that the NFL wouldn't care about that and nobody else would either. I guess I was right. Otherwise, why would they send two green teams there?
  14. I don't get why the field announcer is so loud on the broadcast. Shouldn't they be able to cut that out? It's not like games in the US don't have a bunch of artificial noise to filter out.
  15. Muffed kickoff. That's one of the reasons you don't kick it into the end zone every time. It is on the return team to execute and not make a mistake.
  16. I have peacock and will be watching it. Sorry dude.

    Matt Araiza

He punted one into the end zone that he shouldn't have.
  18. Offense: Khalil Shakir Defense: Gregory Rousseau Dang, you beat me.
  19. Sure, but return teams also get called for holding a third of the time. There is also the risk of muffs and fumbles. Factoring all that in makes it seem riskier for the return team versus the kicking team.
  20. I'm a little surprised this happened now, but the oline now and in the future is looking really bright. We have good starters and a good pipeline of younger guys developing. It is awesome to not need to worry about oline, at least significantly, for the next few years at least. There are not many teams in the NFL who can say that. There are some TRASH olines out there.
  21. 5 yards might not seem like a lot, but average drive position is the highest predictor of points scored, so it really means a lot. Plus, return teams are pretty likely to get called for holding a good chunk of the time, which pushes them back 10 yards. I think good teams are going to find advantages on both sides of this new rule rather than just kicking it through the end zone every drive.
  22. I don't think it is wise to just concede the 30, personally. But we'll see how it goes.
  23. Oh gosh, the hand wringing around this rookie receiver is just embarrassing. Are we going to analyze every play he makes for the rest of his career? Honestly, I do not care. Yeah, I'd like to see him not be good because I don't want the Chiefs to have another good player, but that's about all.
  24. Don't forget Jordan Love. He had a great season last year. He has all the tools to become a great QB.
