Bills rank 9th in poll of top front offices in the NFL (article)
MJS replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey, I think they are probably better at football than the Arabs as well. Arabs aren't known for their football prowess. -
If Hopkins becomes available, would you want Beane to trade for him?
MJS replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
He just isn't that good anymore. -

He looks pretty good. I expressed some doubts in the offseason about his versatility and his hesitant running style sometimes, but he is proving to be a really good weapon for the offense. Just stop dropping TD passes...

"Great. Even formerly dead players are intercepting our QB now." -
Everyone is complaining about Bass but really he has been fine. The blocked extra point was not his fault. Grable got blown up on the play, leading to the block.

Part of me agrees. But Benford is the perfect corner for the scheme. Not only is he great in zone coverage, but he is also physical, tackles well, plays the run well, and is always attacking the ball. He is the complete package, and that's why I think the Bills will consider extending him. They haven't had another corner who did all of that well. Tre White, while elite in his prime, was a poor tackler and terrible in run support. Benford has a case to be considered the best defensive player on the team. What a steal in the 6th round...

He is the best dual-threat QB ever, and it isn't even close. He is the only guy who has ever been elite at both.

Singletary is a decent RB. But he has for sure fumbled it too much.

Caleb Williams was hyped by the media. Kind of like (to a lesser extent) Josh Rosen back in the day. I bought it back then, but I'm leary of who the media is pumping up these days. Sometimes they are just blowing smoke.

Joe Brady has changed the season's expectations
MJS replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's Josh Allen who is playing at an MVP level. Brady has out him into a position to succeed, but the success of the franchise hinges on one guy, and that is Josh Allen. -
Only a couple of Baldy Breakdowns from last night's beatdown

The Bills do it all the time too. All offenses do. -
Injury Report ???? - Taron Johnson, Bernard, Milano
MJS replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
We need Taron to get another pick 6 on Lamar Jackson! -
You know I was being sarcastic, right? That's how the media treats him.
-
Lamar Jackson is the sacred cow of the NFL. Only good things must be said. He can never be an underdog.

Will Von Miller break the top 5 all-time sack leaders?
MJS replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think so. -
Yes, and fans will turn on the coaches when that happens and claim the team is poorly coached and not prepared. Many will cry about McDermott and demand he be fired and replaced with some mythical, offensive-minded genius. And if we happen to kick a field goal in that game, fans will claim that McDermott is the most conservative, soft coach in the history of the league. You know it.

Is this the best coaching we have seen in the JA era?
MJS replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the coaching has always been a strong suit. At times, some in-game decisions have been questionable. At other times there have been execution issues, which I put on the players. Player development, which is a coaching thing, has always been really strong. Scheme and playcalling, which is offensive and defensive coordinator specific coaching, does seem stronger this year. I think we have a good couple of coordinators. However, there will inevitably be challenges in the season. Every team goes through them. Will fans think that the team is poorly coached and ill prepared if we lose a game? The other team's players and coaches get paid the big bucks, too. Sometimes you just get beaten. The Bills always make it close in their losses, which is evidence of good coaching, preparation, and resilience. -
Keon Coleman - benched 1st quarter for being late
MJS replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's bench him every game and unleash him for TD's in the 2nd quarter!
