You don't have many good offensive coordinators without good QB's to run their systems. Looking at his actual scheme, it seems pretty intricate and takes advantage of defenses. It seems nimble. I like the full list of formations, pre-snap movement, etc. At times Daboll is very good at play calling. Sometimes I think he over thinks things and tries to get too tricky. At other times he seems stubborn and runs the same play or similar multiple times when it clearly isn't working. But overall he seems at least above average to me. And Josh Allen heaps a ton of praise on him and credits him a lot for his development.

The issue is how you are interpreting his words. Just take him at face value. He sat Morse for a "football decision". Now Morse is starting. You can talk about what it all means if you want, but you don't know. No need to guess. Now, if Morse is benched going forward or the oline starts struggling overall, then some additional discussion is warranted. But honestly, I don't see the point in making mountain out of a mole hill as things stand.

Pretty sure you see all the players... It's called all 22 because there are 22 players on the field and you can see all of them.

Everyone passed on Metcalf. Which means every GM in the league doesn't meet your standards. You are full of crap.

We're not talking about the last 20 years. We're talking about the McDermott Bills. And he couldn't beat the Pats until Brady was gone. You can blame Newton being careless with the football, but Brady would have 100% won that game.

This topic isn't about the Patriots. Nobody can argue against the success off the Patriots. It's about the many unsuccessful attempts to recreate the Patriot system on other teams. And if your argument is that it the Patriots weren't successful due to Brady because the Bills lost to them a lot, how does that make any sense? The Bills beat them for the first time only after Brady left. Wouldn't that be evidence that Brady was the catalyst for Patriot success?

I wouldn't mind giving Bates more opportunities at guard. He has always looked good to me.

Yeah, all he needed was a crystal ball.

Edge Rusher Linebacker x2 Tight End I'd pick up a corner or two in free agency. Honestly, a free agent TE would be nice too. I don't have any confidence that a rookie TE can come in and contribute. And honestly I don't value the TE position as much as other positions. -

I don't think Morse's status is in question at all... -
Not excited about a 2nd Titans matchup. Everyone else I'm fine with, really (assuming we win the division and have one of those top 4 seeds). I'm not concerned with the Dolphins, Raiders, or Browns (although the Browns can put together a great game once in awhile. They have the horses.) I'm actually not too concerned with the Ravens either, although that's another team that has everything it takes to put together a dominant game.

Help with non-Bills hall of fame argument

Well I think by that definition you'd have to put Steve Tasker in. He is known around the NFL as the best special teams player of all time (and almost all rankings I have ever looked at list him 1st, and more rarely 2nd). He changed the game in a few ways. On Wikipedia it rightly says this: "He was the first player to establish himself as a star almost exclusively through special teams play without being either a kicker or a returner." 7 time pro bowler and 7 time all-pro. I feel like he has the accolades, an incredible story, uniqueness, and a lasting impact on the sport. So I do think he belongs and I hope he gets in some day. I know there are a few bills fans here who don't agree. And honestly I think they are crazy. There's a reason he has been nominated so many times and has been a semi-finalist so many times. -
Future of AFC Quarterbacks...it'll be a gauntlet every year!!!

I see Jackson on a downward trajectory. Tua has done absolutely nothing (and just got benched). But yes, there have been many good QB's enter the league the past few years. It's a relief, actually. For the longest time there were no young guys coming up to replace the old legends like Brady, Manning, Rodgers, etc. Now we finally have a good crop of young guns. I think Mayfield is competent, and he is always a threat to have things click and have a big game. -

Saints to start Taysom Hill over Jameis Winston

I watched him. I though he did pretty well. He had some bad plays to be sure, but also some really good ones. He had a few passes that were right on the money that had me thinking he could play QB in this league. It was his first time playing QB since college, pretty much. I'm sure there is some rust there throwing the ball, even. I really don't understand the hate. But then again, I didn't with with Josh Allen either. Some people just choose a hill to die on, I suppose.
