  1. Not at all. Just defining what I meant by "world". Really sounds like you're having some sensitivity issues though. You good, dude?
  2. In America it's gun violence. In other countries there are issues as well. Let's not act like any place in the world is a freaking Utopia.
  3. That's the thing about the world today. I really wish a shooting like this would take me by shock. But after so many incidents and so many years of it...I've just become numb to it all.
  4. Yea, they clearly don't.
  5. Whitehead is a guy I think we should keep an eye on. Beane has a tendency to sign guys that flash against us and he flashed in a big way week 1 last season. Stone is a good one as well and I believe would fit what we do here.
  6. I think he's an average starter and has the possibility of getting better. Stronger in the run game than pass blocking. If he's open to an average starter paycheck...sign him. Long term my issue with him isn't his play, however I would need to see another year or so of being free from back issues to really invest in him. Backs are one of the more tricky injuries for guys of his size.
  7. I agree safety is loaded in FA, but it appears to be a very top heavy group. Kyle Dugger is my #1 hope in FA, but even he has an expected $16.5M AAV. If he gets that number remains to be seen, but it's very possible the young good safeties out there (including Winfield and Curl) will be out of our price range.
  8. This is what my gut tells me will happen. And it's a good move for both parties. Tre won't likely see big bucks as a FA. And if he comes back and is able to play I don't know if he's better than Douglas or Benford at this stage of his career. He's likely the #3 boundary CB. The one caveat here is IF he were to come back and IF he's healthy enough to be the #2 CB...a case could be made for the Bills to start the Benford to safety transition they talked about last off season. That would also IMO depend on Elam taking steps forward and possibly Dane Jackson returning as experienced depth. So a lot in play for a move like this.
  9. Depends on how the board falls and what the Bills do in FA. The draft is very deep at WR and depending on who is there you could possibly find a day 1 starter/key contributor at WR on day 2. So, for me let's say the Bills snag a Darnell Mooney in FA...but decide to let DaQuan Jones walk. I'd be good in that scenario taking someone like T'Vondre Sweat at that spot and being prepared to slide up a bit in Rd 2 for a WR if a run starts to happen.
  10. Yes, Beane has final say. He does take McDermott's views heavily under advisement especially when it comes to a pick where there are 2 guys they could pick that are graded pretty equal. And that's how it should work, quite frankly. Do people really want Beane to say "EFF off Sean, I'll pick guys and you figure out how they fit"? Who wouldn't want a team where the HC and GM work together? It's almost odd the way certain fans attribute every good pick to "Beane's a wizard" and every bad pick to "Ungh, McDermott has too much say so". The McDermott Derangement Syndrome on this board is seriously comical at times IMO.
  11. My unpopular opinion is James Cook is a good but not great back is better suited for a committee role. The drops, fumbles and lack of ability to pass block render him a not every down player in my book. RB is a sneaky need this year and no, re-signing Johnson does not move the needle in the RB room.
  12. This is what I'm fully expecting. If you look back at Beane's drafting he often skips over the positions that are considered deeper in talent early. I believe he sees the idea of there being better value if they wait and get a talented guy in round 2 or 3. Wouldn't shock me at all to see him nab someone like T'Vondre Sweat if he's on the board round 1 and go WR in round 2.
  13. What separates them from every other team is the Chiefs currently have 90% of the topics on a Buffalo Bills message board dedicated to them. They are far too in everyone's head.
  14. So, in your mind this fan fiction scenario that you have written for us...even though Allen turned out pretty darn good under McDermott and the situation in Buffalo, Mahomes...well he would have flopped and McDermott would be gone. If we don't trade there the likelihood is that KC trades with the Saints who picked right behind us. If not the next QB off the board was with the Texans picking Watson with the pick following the Saints.. Perhaps they take Mahomes and we talk about Houston being a dynasty now. They end up keeping DHop. Bill O'Brien is lauded as an offensive genius. The flap of the wings of a butterfly so to speak.
  15. Thank you for your service.👍
  16. I agree. I'm a believer that winning comes from within. The internal drive to get better and be the best. Mahomes has that. I'm no Mahomes apologist by any means but simply chalking up his progress and performance to "well he has Andy" is a discredit to the player he is. That being said, it HELPS that he's put in a good position to be successful. And it's beneficial that he's had the same voice in his ear for his entire career. But Pat still has to execute the plays.
  17. So, McD should be fired for trading the Mahomes pick even though Mahomes wouldn't have been as good in Buffalo as he is in KC. I'm betting if that scenario played out your stance would be that McDermott should be fired because his handpicked QB in Mahomes wasn't progressing as quickly as that Josh Allen guy in Kansas City that keeps winning Super Bowls and he should have waited a year for the QB.
  18. Not for nothing, but Breece did have almost 1,600 yards from scrimmage and 9TDs while playing behind a terrible OL. Coming off the injury bhe did I'd say that was pretty special (and IMO should have gathered more Comeback Player of the Year attention than Joe Flacco).
  19. Do Willie Totten or Brian McClure count?
  20. I have literally not insulted you once. You have, however resulted to namecalling. I've actually gone out of my way to say how I'm not insulting you. No personal attacks. It's weird to lie like that. You can reply to this or not. Makes no difference. I'll just add you to the ignore list and *poof*. Like a miracle you disappear.
  21. You do realize in today's day and age you can stream pretty much anything from pretty much anywhere? And I don't understand the name calling. I specifically said I wasn't referring to you as a blowhard. I mean, I'm starting to think that if your hearing comprehension is as terrible as your reading comprehension you may just not be as informed as you claim. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  22. This is now the second time that unprompted you felt the need to tell me you are "better informed"...without ever taking a moment to ponder where and from whom I get my information from. Now, I'm not by any means a young man anymore. However, through age often times comes wisdom. Life lessons, so to speak. One of the most accurate life lessons I have learned is that the individual that has to publicly crow about how much more they know than everyone else more times than not is the least knowledgeable person in the room. Often times they are just a loudmouth blowhard. Now, I'm absolutely not saying that this applies to you as we have never met in person to my knowledge and it's impossible to form accurate opinions on a person from online interactions. So, definitely not saying that you are in fact a loudmouth nor a blowhard. But it would be very interesting to meet in person and see if this theory holds true.
  23. Ok, so being spoonfed NYC media's opinions makes you better informed. Got it. That really helps me know how seriously to take your response. Thanks for saving my time here.
  24. Wilson also showed growth and maturity last season in the way he handled his benchings. Took full blame. Complete 180 from the year before. Jet insiders have said multiple times how well liked he now is inside the locker room. And sorry, if you can't see they way they messed up the dudes confidence with all the "benched, unbenched" they played with him and by hiring that idiot Hackett...I don't know what to tell ya.
  25. I agree with this assessment. I do think not only coaching but improvement in protection can help elevate him. Behind that Jet line he's been used to having no time to progress reads. For lack of a better term he sees ghosts even in a clean pocket. Hard to blame him there. I also think that both his OCs have tried to fit him into their offense rather than see what he does do well and tailor playcalling to that.
