  1. Now how is some "genius" going to twist this around to infer that Allen might be traded?
  2. Speaking of tailgate lots, i forgot to mention that a few days before the Bills-Chiefs playoff game the sports section of the New York Times quoted Eric Matwijow, aka the Hammer of Hammer's Lot. Story talked a lot about the Bills mafia but i was disappointed not a mention of all the charitable giving that has happened...just mostly about drinking table smashing etc.
  3. Thanks, it was great meeting you, I still recall you were drinking some sort of red drink. One of my favorite pictures is Pinto Ron and myself, what an incredibly approachble man. I almost never ask a celeb (yes I will call him a celeb) for a photo but had no problem asking Pinto Ron.
  4. Best of luck Ron! It was great to meet you at the Texans-Bills playoff game.
  5. Sherman does nothing for the Bills, espceaily if the Bills get Watt, that is all the leadership on defense you need. Sherman was abused by the Bills this year, he looked his age, very slow. I would pass on him big time.
  6. Pick # 30 in the NFL draft isnt much "currency" and yes he has mileage and RBs are a dime a dozen but if I were the Bills i would jump through hoops to get McCaffery for our pick #30.
  7. Of course, Carolina Panthers-Bills stream. Never happen UNLESS we paid him a stupid amount of money (which we dont have) McCaffrey was so overwhelmed with the McDermott-Beane regime he wanted to come here which is very very unlikely. Such is the state of "journalism". Any outlandish rumor with a star players name attached if bound to keep clicks and numbnuts like us wasting time discussing it.
  8. People cant foresee what is happening. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE assumed the salary cap would go up no matter what year after year, gee guess what happened? Who knows, maybe some entity, Amazon, wildly over pays at the top, it wouldn't shock me.
  9. Actually I am quite the hit, the life of the party. thank you.
  10. Makes sense, I would prefer that then to them getting Mac Jones.
  11. Come on lets try and be fair and objective. So let me get this straight, with your eagle physician eye you could tell with a trip he hurt his knee and within 24 hours has it diagnosed and ready to operate. So i guess 7 months of football had notching to go with it. And when did Arians say he would have clean up? Was that before or after the aforementioned trip. Got news for you, football players get minor surgeries in the off season very frequently, esp a minor one, probably not much more than a scope. This is one of the biggest non-event thread s of all time..unless he is having serious knew surgery.
  12. Can anyone explain to me hot to effect a trade, there are several i have wanted and i keeping clicking on the trade offered with zero results
  13. Mac Jones will be drafted by the Pats is my guess. Incredibly accurate, slow pocket passer, very smart.
  14. No doubt, J Allen really took advantage of quiet stadiums this year. So often he would be direct blocking assignments and routes by screaming it out, proably wont be able to do that much next year but over time he is smart an will be able to work with his teamates over time on these issues.
  15. He is only a "leader" when things go his way and he is winning.
  16. Correct. Being a coach is like second nature to a lot of them. Kids look up to their parents, many follow in the career path of their parents, makes total sense.
  17. This thread should be renamed grow up and welcome to the real world. And yes I think growing up son of an NFL coach is a tremendous "natural" advantage.....your father can impart a lot of knowledge and wisdom on you. And if nothing else they see the rigour and hours it takes to be a successful coach. Being a coaches kid is not some utopia, fathers gone for hours if not days at a time, soemtimes it helps the kid get some discipline, some times it leads to incredible dysfunction. I wonder if he could do it all over again would Andy Reid have sacrificed effectively his family for his job? Talk about a shattered life he must have.
  18. Thanks, for the painfully obvious observation. Typical response to anyone having the "courage" making a prediction here. The podcast is there for a reason, entertainment and to attract listeners. Would you prefer he just had a banal, bland non-committal podcast?
  19. I immediately noticed the same thing...whatever happened to the "athletic freak", blah blah blah
  20. Assuming Watson is out of the Jet picture, I would take a 1st for Darnold in a heartbeat. They get Josh Fields and another 1st round pick, most importantly a new HC.
  21. I never said he didn't but he sure as heck never said this " we practically got nothing out of our TE position" .
  22. LOL, you mean the DT having an 80 yard pick six? I was at that game, perfect angle, it was like watching in slow motion, you could tell when the ball was in the air it was headed to the other end zone. I will never forget that play as much as I want to.
  23. The Bills have had a lot of "weird" seasons. You could take almost any year and point out the "weird" factors. Every game was "weird" when Rex was here one never knew what to expect from the "defensive genius", all the gaffes and mistakes the team made. How about 2017 the year he couldnt even finish without getting his bulbous arse fired.
  24. Even though I cam sick of hearing about him (being in Houston) and his need to for attention, He most likely wants out of the noise and non-=sense of the Texans so if we can get him cheap, yes. He might give is a good deal headed to a contender with the Bills. a championship one thing he doesnt have on his resume. I dont think he is along term answer obviously but good for a one year loaner.
