  1. If the new stadium does not use this type of grass seed, what are we even doing? Gurney’s | Buffalo Grass Seed OP might get too much rainfall for the ideal growing, but that can also be engineered around, I would think.
  2. They’d have to do the draft in Buffalo-proper. Likely in Pegulavile at / near KeyBank arena. There’s simply nothing to do in OP, nowhere to eat, shop, sh—, sightsee. iirc, the recent drafts aren’t at or near that city’s football stadium. Detroit’s this year was in the downtown. Nice 👍🏼.
  3. Possible to retrofit? They've done that at all of the majors / Slam tennis tournaments, including Ashe and BJK in NYC. The bowl rim of football stadium obviously is larger but I’m sure it could be engineered. The only one north of the Mason-Dixon Line anyway. Seeing how the league office has been chomping for 18 games and home games well into February for awhile now, it was beyond stupid for us to stay open air or to at least not do a retractable roof. Climate change is only making weather more and more to the extremes & unpredictable. Probably 50% of our future February games are going to have to be played in Detroit.
  4. Same for the game announcing crews. As legendary Kentucky basketball coach Adolph Rupp would say, “Don’t speak unless you can improve the silence.” And all too often they don’t. I wish we could have an option to silence the announcers s d just hear the sounds of the field like they capture with those clear parabola antenna looking things.
  5. What gets me is posters here who compare guys’ speeds that were run at the combine 5 or 8 years ago, as if they certainly could do that today. There are a few tricks one can do to achieve a faster 40 time, that are then gone after they run for the combine & pro days. There’s 40 speed and then there’s football speed. It’s tantamount to cramming for a test vis. short-term memory when the goal of an education is / should be learning & wisdom. Two different things.
  6. So many assets given to McD’s defense. This isn’t really a defense league anymore. You get flagged & fined for playing defense. Best you can do on D is have guys occupy space akin to a 🏀 thrown-up-hand vs. a 3-point shot. What you do isn’t really gonna affect things. You just have to hope the guy/s on Offense makes a mistake, and then you claim credit for “defense.” If you can’t keep up on Offense against teams that are getting faster and faster, you have no shot.
  7. Nope. There may be the thought that Josh will make whoever is out there better. Like how Brady always seemed to make chicken 💩 look like chicken salad. Dude gave back a lot of money on his contract and BB would use it on his defense… until TB’s demands for a primo WR brought them Randy Moss. I think that’s too much to put on Josh’s shoulders to make other guys look good.
  8. It’s for this reason that I was most in favor of having a retractable roof or a clear cover ala SoFi and the new Bears concept. February games at open-air Highmark will be as brutal on us as it will be for an opponent. (To say nothing about it’ll be brutal on the concrete, paint, seats, and stadium amenities).
  9. Eventually we’re gonna pick someone, though, right?
  10. Major downgrade. The old ones had a classic look. These are just a complete mishmash of design. And they incorporate the worst Nike trends that they’re pushing on every team. Large wordmarks, red helmet with dark blue logo producing chromostereopsis to the human eye (while the jersey has a white outline with the dark blue), no consistency, perforated numbers, incomplete or no pant stripes. The H Color Rush design is absolute trash. Terrible. F the Nike design group and the teams who accept this 💩 — although I imagine there’s a ton of pressure from Nike and the league to just go with what Nike throws at them. They are destroying everything classic. They’ve done it with baseball too.
  11. The more they have to explain the design choices like the little mountain ticks that now compose the center helmet stripe and the sleeve slashes that represent mountains and the 5280 for Mile High yadda yadda yadda. I don’t want a friggin story with a design. I just want it to look good and this does not. The late-90s ones were dated but they’re better than these things. Ultra-modern design that makes them look like an arena league team; Nike likes to push the envelope in this regard and it disgusts me. Now they’re pushing the perforated numbers on everyone and it looks terrible. God help us if our Bills do a redesign. Tradition & classic design will never go out of style, whereas this crap will be in the bargain bins in 8 years, tops. OTOH, the sky blue early Elway era throwback that was revealed is so sweet, tho. Chef’s kiss. Wish that had been the primaries. Wish we had done a red helmet Kelly era set now that alternate color helmets are allowed. I don’t know what we’re waiting for.
  12. https://youtu.be/-9lPVGyvST4?si=dBPy-tf-lWAXT0B- Sorry I don’t know how to embed the video. Aerial drone footage from the Bills YT page. So cool to see work progressing with more pace now that better weather is upon us.
  13. After the Challenger disaster, NASA implemented a policy of coming forward with any concerns, no such thing as a dumb question or too small of a detail (because something like a faulty O-ring was the cause of the explosion), safety of the program is paramount. How quick the human race is to forget. We learn nothing.
