Getting the gameday food ready. Buffalo shrimp, carrots & celery, and Marie's blue cheese. My local supermarket that sells Genesee (yep, all the way out here in southwest WA) is all out so I'm going to be drinking..... -

I don't know if this is a good omen or not but I just woke up (I work night shift) to my clock alarm playing Styx's Renegade. -

What is it about the Bills losing on the last play of a game that featured Josh Allen catching a TD pass and the opponent having DeAndre Hopkins as a WR? Didn't we already have to live through this last year in the playoffs? -

What would it take for you to trade Josh?
Peace Frog replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Although Josh may not be as talented as some other players out there, he is a perfect fit for the Bills. He completely embraced the culture from day 1. You can't put a price on that. We've watched him grow to the player he is now. I would never trade him. -
What were you doing in 1993?

Best single play in Bills history

My favorite was the reverse flea flicker against Denver back in 1992. -
You know something is bad when it's called horrible with three 'r's.

I specifically remember KC's defenders jumping offside at least 3 times because of Josh's hard count (let's just call it JHC, for short) that could've resulted in 15 easy yards had our own offense reacted to it. I'm glad we generally don't jump when Josh is barking but when they see a defender in the neutral zone, they should move as well and draw the easy 5 yarder. It could turn a 3rd & 7 into a more manageable 3rd & 2.
-
Finally, one of our own O-linemen (kudos to D. Williams) recognized and reacted to a defender jumping offside due to Josh's hard count by moving out of his stance and creating the encroachment penalty in today's game. I realize it's only a 5 yard penalty but they certainly help, especially on a 3rd long situation. I couldn't tell you how many times this season I've seen defenders cross the neutral zone before the snap and our O-linemen stay in their stance. I applaud their discipline but 5 yards is 5 yards; why wouldn't you try to get that every time?

Why Did You Become a Buffalo Bills Fan?
Peace Frog replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because it helps distract me from disappointments in my miserable life. -
I remember something my wife (who's a casual Bills fan) said to me during the game last week. She said "How come their guys look bigger than ours?" I asked her offense or defense. She said both. The Titans (and now the Chiefs) O-linemen look bigger than our D-linemen and their D-linemen look bigger than our O-linemen, she said. If the battles are won in the trenches, then I'm afraid it's going to be a long season. I will add, after watching the game today, I was surprised to see Tre' White look lost out there today on more than a handful of plays.
