  1. The only way this is gonna happen is if the Bills Mafia kidnaps Brady and get's Peterman to suit up in Brady's uniform.
  2. Take a look at Dak Prescott. Elliot’s not playing and all of a sudden he’s a mere mortal. They’re Oline is still the same Oline and he has a pretty good receivers. Up to the Cowboys recent struggles, i bet a ton of posters on this board would’ve given their left arm for a guy like Prescott. This week he was something like 20-29 for 170+ and two picks. If a QB doesn’t have a solid supporting cast, it can change the whole dynamic. The Bills can get rid of Taylor but they still have to have the receivers and an Oline. They don’t magically improve with a change at QB.
  3. So why is there no talk about the garbage game Shady had yesterday? 49 yards on 22 carries?! Wow!! Barely 2.3 YPC. Does he shoulder some blame? Was that on Tyrod too? Or was that the fault of the Oline? We know they suck yet Taylor's the ultimate reason the Bills don't put up big numbers apparently. Does Rico get a pass as well? He's the guy that calls the plays? People are so obsessed with blaming Taylor, they can't objectively look at a game and point out the issues.
  4. I see how this works. If Peterman or any other QB in the league had thrown that pass, you would've lauded the QB's timing and guts to throw into a very tight window. But with Taylor, it was almost picked off and a duck to boot. Hahaha......some of you people are amazing!!!
  5. So now it's Taylor's fault for not putting teams away. If you truly feel Dennison called a solid game today, I don't know what else to tell you. That garbage series before the Chiefs' final drive epitomized Dennison IMO. He was calling plays like there was 30 seconds left in the game instead of 2-1/2 minutes. How about you go play action ONE time to catch those guys sleeping? And please don't talk about trust....that's a BS response. Like they really trusted Peterman so much that they let him throw five picks in one half?!?! Dennison better get his stuff together for next week. If he's not on point, the Bills don't stand a chance.
  6. Nobody's "thumping their chest".....the problem is, even in the face of a poorly called game by the OC and the SAME bad Oline, somehow Taylor didn't do enough and that he sucks....blah blah blah. All "people" are saying is that even with those obstacles to overcome, he played a solid game with no TO's. Like I said earlier, Taylor masks the Oline issues....the same issues that contributed to Peterman's horrible outing last week. So now they're good? No...it just means Taylor's able to slide in the pocket and avoid sacks which makes the Oline look better. Jeez, look at Shady's numbers today....49 yards on 22 carries....is he bad or is it most likely an Oline problem and predictable play calling? I choose the latter. See the point?
  7. So I guess, with Taylor back, the Oline miraculously became good and Dennison's a great OC. This fan base is so funny. Take for granted what they have and always yearning for THE guy that's gonna bring the team to the promised land....without overhauling the Oline and getting an OC who has a pair between his legs. Keep searching fellas.....that combo of Brady's savvy and Mike Vick's speed and quickness shouldn't be hard to find........ It's also funny how Shady get's a pass for his game today. 2.3 YPC? Cadet and McCoy combined for 78 yards on 28 carries. Less than pedestrian IMO.
  8. That’s apparently the focus now that Taylor is playing again. Last week, when Peterman threw the five picks, people focused on how bad the Oline played, not on Peterman’s record tying outing. Now that we know the Oline sucks, and, that Dennison isn’t very good, the focus goes back to Taylor as being the weakest link in the offense. Leave it up to a whiny bunch of Buffalo fans to draw these types of conclusions.
  9. Dennison is so predictable it hurts. He’s calling plays as if there’s 30 seconds in the game. Oline is weak and Dennison is terrible yet Taylor is the number one problem?
  10. Oh I agree on the running part. Stop with the five step drops....get Taylor out of the pocket....let him run the ball more which should open up the pass. I've never understood why Dennison insists on making him a pocket passer.
  11. I would think the vast majority, if not all of the posters on this board agree. NP was not a world beater coming out of college so I, personally, wan't shocked he struggled so much.
  12. Really? He's had to deal with the Oline all year long. It simply took a pocket passer with limited mobility to show how much Taylor had been covering up due to his ability to scramble. Kinda sad that it took Peterman getting killed to appreciate Taylor's ability to 1) escape pressure and 2) not turn the ball over very much.
  13. When you play team sports, you preach certain things. McD is famous for talking about playing the players that will give the team the best chance to win. When that mantra is drilled into the players' heads and then you pull what he just pulled, you lose the confidence of the team. Losing your players' confidence is a hard thing to overcome as a coach. It's not as if Peterman is close to being able to lead this team and Taylor isn't. When a player turns the ball over five times in a half, it's frustrating to the offense and the defense can't be happy defending short fields. I could go on and on but I won't. Suffice it to say, Taylor is a leader on the team and has the respect of his teammates. When said leader is being treated unfairly it makes sense that the other players will support their teammate.
  14. As far as "saying anything bad", I won't condemn either QB other than to point out their mistakes. Despite the 5 INT game, I don't think anyone can be defined by one half of football. That situation is squarely on the coaches IMO. As a 5th round pick starting his first game, there's no shame for not being ready. He obviously needs to brought along at a more reasonable pace (ie. get in on mop up duty or when games are out of hand....maybe insert him into a game for a series or two in a competitive game).
  15. I feel quite certain that the LAC Dline knew Peterman wasn’t gonna run so they just pinned their ears back. With Taylor, they can’t rush up the field as far.
  16. Maybe we should’ve made the Oline be an Oline as well. Like it or not, the Oline is the most important unit on the offense. If your Oline stinks, chances are the offense will struggle.
  17. I don’t think Taylor is perfect nor do i think he’s the long term answer. But it’s very apparent that the offense is handicapped by the Oline. And it’s funny....it was obvious prior to the LAC game but it’s only become a real talking point since Peterman got crushed due to their inability to pass protect. Such a double standard for so many to say Peterman didn’t stand a chance because of the Oline yet Taylor’s tough outings (sans the NO game) were primarily because of Taylor.
  18. Like i said in another thread, in basketball terms, McD benched his point guard because his team can’t rebound.
  19. He didn't complete his first three passes.....he was 2-3 on the first two drives (to Buffalo receivers) and 2-2 and a TD to LAC DB's. And the "laser" to Benjamin wasn't anything overly tricky and I'd argue Taylor has thrown into tighter windows. And playing the woulda-coulda-shoulda on INT's is lame. Look at Taylor's 10 TD's and 3 INT's this year. Two of his INT's were catchable balls that got tipped and intercepted. Should we change his stats to 11 TD's (since Clay's shouldve been a TD) and 1 INT? Oh, and we're gonna leave Peterman blameless on the two INT's when he was being hit? Okay, I get it......the ol' double standard. I'll give you Peterman's script for the next game......run out of the tunnel to the sideline.....go put your helmet on the bench somewhere where you know it will be.......go and get a spot near the sidelines, but not too close so you don't somehow throw another interception. Having said all of the above, I don't blame Peterman one bit for this colossal failure. It's all McDoof. Heaven knows what he was thinking when he made the decision to give Peterman the start in the first place. It was painfully obvious the kid just isn't ready and won't be this year.....especially with this offensive line.
  20. No need. Just taking his head out of his butt will be a great start.
  21. 1. Peterman wasn't 3-3 on his first three passes. In the first two drives, he was 2-3 to Bills receivers and 2-2 to LAC DB's (with 1 TD I might add). As for the throw to Benjamin, I'd say the touch TD pass from Taylor to McCoy was far more difficult. 2. If you look closely, the sun was right in the receiver's face, and, the pass was definitely thrown harder than what it should've been. But yes, he should've caught it. 3. Ya think?! So it took Peterman getting killed to figure out the Oline stunk?! I guess, when Taylor was getting blasted in the Jets game, it was somehow Taylor's fault for taking the sacks. The double standard is alive and well in Buffalo. And if you're gonna play woulda-shoulda-coulda, two of Taylor's 3 INT's this year should've been caught which would give him a total of one for the year. In fact, the one to Clay should've given him one more TD for the year. 4. Are you really gonna go there? They weren't his fault? He threw them, bottom line. Again, the double standard is ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous is the fact McDoof is at the head of the club. If Peterman starts in KC, McD is shortening his own leash. And if Peterman has another terrible game, he will get laughed out of a job. I can only wonder how much ridicule the Pegulas will be able to take. At this point, McD looks like a stubborn coach trying to justify what most consider a ridiculous decision by compounding it to make a point. Boy was I fooled by this guy.
  22. BINGO! But the problem is that too many Buffalo fans want to "just" draft a franchise QB who will solve everything. To heck with building a solid O-line. Let's not worry about having a decent WR corps......why? Because the "franchise" QB will raise this team on his shoulders and carry it to the Super Bowl. It's mind boggling how short-sighted some fans are with regards to how you build an offense.
