I'm sure you can look at any NFL QB and find one boneheaded play in a game. Carr had a couple today. If he makes one bonehead play a game, so what. He makes 30 good ones for every bad. I'll take that ratio.

The fact that six of the top fifteen "all-time" are all from this season is pretty wild. Obviously, there's a lot of football to be played, but still. Wow.

I'll have to spend some time searching for it, but I remember hearing Beane say in an interview - I'm pretty sure the Bills scouts flew to Wyoming to watch him play - That what they saw in person was more valuable than what they saw on the field. How he interacted with his teammates on the sideline. The leader that he was, the desire to win are things that you just can't teach. As others have posted, I think they saw his deficiencies as things that could be coached/fixed - mechanics, experience, talent around him. They placed as much value on his leadership qualities and that fire/desire to be the best and to win at all costs (which can't be taught/coached) as they did on the on-field product. I live in Concord, and there are at least six (that I know of - meaning I either know them personally, or I see Bills flags/merch when I drive by) houses in my neighborhood that are Bills fans. There's not another out-of-town team that I know of that has more than maybe 1 house that flies flags of those teams. There's even this special one - used to fly Patriots flags, now have TB Bucs stickers all over their cars 😆

Glad for Hauschka. Overall good dude that you hated to see lose his job, but the kid beat him out fair and square. Glad to see him find employment.
