  1. Your assessment is that a coaching staff and front office with guys who have been around football for close to 40 years dont know when they see a good wideout? Is that really the hill you want to die on? The front office who brought Diggs here and drafted Khalil Shakir arent good at evaluating wideouts? I think some of you guys dont realize the percentage of wideouts who are drafted that ever turn into good wideouts in the NFL. Very few of the guys drafted this weekend have played in a pro-style offense. Only a select few can run a full route tree. Why waste a pick on guys who you have to teach football to for 3 years only to have them leave a year later?
  2. Part of it is him not having elite skills and size that's true but if you want to argue that as of today he's a worse quarterback than someone like Jalen Milroe who just got taken in the 3rd round I completely disagree. I watched them both quite a bit last year and he is for sure a better player right now. He doesn't have elite arm talent but he has enough. He definitely struggles with lateral movement and pocket awareness but he also is very accurate and doesn't turn the ball over much. On top of that his output is incredible. Plain and simple the kid lost money going into the combine acting like he was already a top 5 pick. The combine is about answering questions. People wondered about his arm strength and he didn't throw. People wondered about his entitlement issues and he decided to act like he was above the process. Unless he was a shoe in #1 pick he should have went out there and earned it and he didnt. NFL teams want their franchise QBs to be football players first and foremost. Head down and learning. Setting the example for the rest of the team. They don't want social media stars, wanna be rappers, who already act like they earned it. Sanders should have went into this process acting like his name was John Smith but instead he got horrible advice and acted like a giant jerk. He has the talent. Teams don't want his entitlement. This should get interesting moving forward. Guys like Will Howard, Quinn Ewers, Kyle McCord, and Riley Leonard are all still there. The Sanders' family thinks Shedeur is a starter in the NFL. Will teams choose guys like Leonard who are maybe a little less talented but more coachable and willing to be a back up over Shedeur?
  3. I am very much a Chrisitan however the way Easter is actually carried out is not a fun time for me. I wake up at 5am to get to sunrise service by 7am. Get home by 9am to cook dinner for 15 people. Serve lunch at 12pm. Exhausted by the time everyone leaves around 2pm but have to get to the in laws by 4pm. By the time Easter is done I've spent $300 dollars on the dinner, and another $300 dollars on Easter baskets for the kids. Wake up at 6pm for work on Monday still tired from the day before. That said, I do get joy from seeing how much my kids love it. To be fair, I am not a big fan of most holidays. I am incredibly tied to routine and anything that shakes it up turns me into a scrooge.
  4. In reference to a pro-Palestinian extremist attempting to kill a Jew you said smart people can differentiate an attack on a Jewish person from attacks on Isarael. The issue being, it's the same sort of racist extremism that caused both issues. When Hamas kills Americans, whether it's on American soil or not, are they not killing Americans over ideology?
  5. So, in your infinite wisdom you decided a group of Muslim extremists who are backed by Iran aren't interested in killing Jews? This despite leaders of both Hamas and Iran saying they want to wipe out Israel? Israel where the population is 74% Jewish. Maybe I am just a complete moron, but I think if you ask those non-Zionist Jews you mentioned if they want Israel wiped off the map, they may have a bit of an issue with it. As an aside, truly intelligent people dont have to tell others how smart they are all the time.
  6. Not surprising from the guy who cries about wealth inequality all the time while being a millionaire with multiple houses.
  7. Agree. Just take the degree away and call it what it is. Minor league football.
  8. He's never been a big INT guy but show me someone who has played in this era of football that is. He's a good corner, breaks up a lot of passes, and helps in the run game. He's a loud mouth but he is a very good player.
  9. I hope it works out well for you. In the meantime, you may want to work on understanding why you think Trump voters are less intelligent than you when some of the world's most intelligent and successful people voted for him. It's a very odd place to be in life to not be able to recognize other people's worth based solely on who they voted for. That sounds a lot like a cult member to me.
  10. I am not going to bother to respond to the 4-5 guys in this thread that think they are more intelligent that 77 million other Americans. Your arrogance is sad, your allegiance to China over your own country is sick.
  11. I cannot believe how many pro-China communists disguise themselves as American citizens. It is truly unfathomable and sad to me.
  12. Agree with you. That part was stupid.
  13. He's 78. Not sure what you expect. Biden was skinny but couldnt remember where he was or who the pants he was crapping in belonged to. You boys love your hyperbole and pearl clutching.
  14. 5.8 over a ten year period while reducing 194 billion in government spending and eliminating $880 billion in taxes on overtime pay. The addition of debt isn't good but it isn't owed to an outside country. Can you please now explain to me the benefit of owing money to China? Id feel bad about that if you weren't a sad little girl with an upside down American Flag as their avatar. You clearly have mental issues.
  15. There is way too much here to respond to fully but no I am not trolling. I don't think it's a lot to ask from your country to look at a few labels on goods. I also don't think it's a lot for your government to ask to "toughen up" a bit while they try to restore America as the world's leader in manufacturing. And just for the record I think if someone is struggling to pay for groceries they are the last person that should have a frickin car payment.
  16. Meanwhile they are backing China in the trade war as evidenced by our own Two Bills Drive Comrades
  17. I do know that. The issue I have is both our trade deficit and our budget deficit are completely out of control. We may be the #2 manufacturer in the world, depending on which statistic you choose to use, but China is ahead of us by double. I've said it here before, and I think its basic economic fact, debt is financial slavery. We cannot continue to owe countries the amount of money we do. Your arrogance is showing. You think you're more intelligent than 77 million people?
  18. I understand what you're saying. My hope is the blanket tariffs, if there are any, end at the bargaining table before they ever reach the consumer. My point is this had to happen at some point because the US has been slowly losing its place as the world's economic leader. Sadly, it may be too late. The trade deficit and amount of money we owe other countries is astounding. All of this is way overdue.
  19. China was poor and unindustrialized just 50 or 60 years ago. It isnt just cope. By saying consumers bear the cost of tariffs you're insinuating they are also lazy and stupid. It's pretty simple, you look at the label where it says "Made in China" you realize you're paying heavy tax on substandard goods. I am pro-America every step of the way. Which is why I want to get back to the days where we were the innovators and the leaders in manufacturing. I dont want my kids to bring up their kids in a country that is beholden to China or any other country due to trillions of dollars of debt.
  20. 100% agree with you. I am to the point in my life where Id rather just drive everywhere.
  21. It's already started. Along with the propaganda on the news "Consumers will be the ones to pay for the Tariffs" without one mention that consumers have a choice not to buy products from China. Weak willed cowards. Because those trade partners will be the next China if we dont take care of it now.
  22. And the big name people on the board may not want to hear it but he isn't significantly better than either Rapp or Hamlin at this point in his career.
