  1. Thank god. Signing Moore is just as bad as signing Thigpen was. This probably came from: "The bills are going to bring in more QBs this week." "Moore at QB?" "Yes! More QBs!" *rushes to twitter* "Bills bringing in QB Moore this week!"
  2. How about this to try and drill through your thick skull. If we are unable to aquire Rosen or Mayfield, we have failed at meeting our biggest need. Period. At that point instead of wasting our pick on a guy who is much more likely to bust, we might as well get two other guys in the first and grab a guy like Rudolph in the second because he's probably a better option.
  3. So let me get this straight. You're the only one allowed to "have an agenda" when posting? Also, please explain to me why you are so okay with getting the afterthought quarterback in this draft, when we clearly put ourselves in a position to trade up for one of the top guys this year.
  4. "Let's NOT use the extra picks we acquired specifically for the purpose of trading up for a QB to trade up for a QB"
  5. The Jackson excuses have already started. Is it too much to ask for us to actually go for a guy that we don't need to make excuses for?
  6. Do you think the Eagles fans or the Texans fans are complaining about trading up to get their guy? What about the Chiefs? I'm pretty sure they don't care. For future reference Jackson isn't a beast he's the booby prize of this draft.
  7. If we don't make a move to trade up in the draft, there was no point in all of the extra picks we aquired over the last year. None at all. The whole point of trading away guys like Watkins, and trading back in the draft last year was to get the ammunition that we need to move up and get our guy this year. Now we are finally getting close to the goal and suddenly people are okay with being the best athlete NOT to podium? I'm not okay with that.
  8. Please convince me that Jackson is going to be better then Rosen, Mayfield, or Darnold.
  9. When all is said and done he is going to be a slightly better Tyrod Taylor, and I doubt he will be a franchise guy that can win championships, unless he can sit for 2-3 years and fall into an ideal situation. He is not the type of guy I want to have to put the team on his back to win the game. Drafting him is like going to the Olympics and finishing 4th. Yeah, the idea sounds nice and all, but you still lost.
  10. Honestly with compensatory picks, if you get them you get them. If not then don't worry about it. Just do everything you can to make a competitive team every year. Don't choose not to make moves because you might get an extra draft pick next year.
  11. We do have strong wind inside of the stadium 8 times a year because of the way New Era Field was constructed. The wind has a slight wind tunnel effect, and the fact that the Bowl sits below ground causes it to swirl around at field level. It's the same reason that you need a kicker with a strong leg on our team as well.
  12. Maybe we could get a Quarterback we don't need to make excuses for for once in our lives as fans.
  13. His throws are going to look like Ryan Fitzpatrick for 8 games a year.
  14. He ranked dead last in ball velocity at the combine. I'm not so sure he has the arm strength to throw in the wind here.
  15. He's one of the two that I'd prefer in this draft. Him or Rosen and I'm happy.
  16. Personally I don't think Jackson has the arm to throw in New Era Field once the weather turns. The way our stadium is designed any wind is amplified in the bowl. You need a guy with a bigger arm to throw accurately through the wind. Just like you need a strong kicker to get the field goals. There is a reason why there are so many ducks thrown in our stadium, and why so many Great QBs have had really bad days there, and it's not our defense.
  17. Honestly, if getting a guy in FA is going to fill a hole and give us another shot at the playoffs, I don't care about compensatory picks. When was the last time one actually got a team an above average player?
  18. At worst, we currently have 2 above average LT's on our roster. I don't see us keeping both of them. If we have to get rid of the younger option and hold onto Glenn a while longer I'm Okay with that. Capable RT's aren't as difficult to find, so upgrading on Mills wont be too hard.
  19. Sure, grab Foles, but that shouldn't stop us from moving up and taking a guy like Rosen or Mayfield. It doesn't matter what other moves we make, our number one goal should be getting one of the top Quarterbacks not named Allen.
  20. You don't get a franchise guy at 21 or 22 this year. It just doesn't happen. The bills need to bite the bullet and get their guy. No more putting it off. We've been delaying getting a Franchise QB since Kelly left, and where exactly has that gotten us? In 22 years, we have gotten into the playoffs exactly 3 times. When was our last playoff victory? It was in 1995 with Jim Kelly at QB. We need our next Jim Kelly, and we will not get him by sitting on our thumbs and hoping he falls into our lap. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
  21. Honestly, I'd trade anybody on the roster as part of a deal to get Rosen. QB is the most important piece and we don't have a good one. Get the QB now then worry about filling other holes. We get a TON of space on the cap after this year, and have a ton of assets to move in the form of draft picks. Next year's QB class won't be great. If we have the opportunity to move up to 2nd overall, I don't care what we need to trade in return.
  22. I'd be happy with that draft outside of the idea that the Jests got Rosen. That being said, grabbing Allen 1st overall would be so unbelievably Cleveland.
