Honestly it really depends on their rankings of the available QB's, and what they think is going to happen with the Colts. If they have two QB prospects who are nearly identically ranked and it is true that the colts will stay where they are and get their guy, they are still guaranteed to get their guy. Worse comes to worse they let whatever happens with the giants pick happen, and trade up from 4 to 3 with the colts and grab whatever QB isn't grabbed at pick number 2. The colts would know that the Browns are grabbing a QB and still get the guy they wanted at 3, while the browns guarantee that they get one of their two QBs, and likely don't give up much to go up one spot, even with their huge amount of draft picks.

Imagine the Haul the Giants come out of the draft with this year if they first trade back to 4 then make a deal with the bills for 21/22 + whatever else it takes to make the move. They said that they want to re-build, so let them stock up on high end talent, grab a guy like Jackson to sit behind Eli and learn PLUS an additional first this year. That would be the fastest re-tool that they could hope for.

In situations like this it blows me away that the offender doesn't miss as many games as the guy he hurt. This is a clearly malicious hit. Even gronkowski himself admitted it.

Honestly, I don't see this team going anywhere this year no matter who the QB is. I'd rather let Tyrod take all the lumps behind this o-line and let Peterman sit on the bench and learn this year. He can take a shot at the starting job next year when buffalo actually has a shot at winning some games.

They want to be able to use it for Pain management, and treatments for certain problems that they may have. Henderson is a great example of why this should be allowed.

Honestly, I'd rather see him retire, but if he is looking for a backup type role or a split starter type roll I'd take him back as long as he is fully healthy.

Ever heard of Tanking? It's what the Colts did for Luck. Not to mention a lot of the talking heads seem to think 4-12 is a distinct possibility next year. Unless you didn't read their "predictions". If Tyrod continues to trend down next year, and Sammy gets hurt again, I don't see our offense doing much scoring.

Is it that big of a stretch that McDermott would have been involved in the draft prep in Carolina as the DC? If he was in charge of the defense, it makes sense that he would be at those meetings to give opinions on players that the HC and GM were looking at, along with the OC. It's not that big of a stretch for McDermott to remember some of the names of the guys being talked about, or even just the positions that were discussed. Also it's no secret that the Panthers needed help at WR and O-line last year. My sister in law's fiance is a huge panther's fan and he's been saying that they need help at those positions all of last year.

All things considered, we may not need to trade up for a QB....
