  1. I think Dawkins could easily be very good at LG, but I also feel like the O-line wouldn't be getting the best overall value playing him so close to Williams with the right side lacking in talent in comparison to the left, and the inexperience of Cody Ford; I'd like the talent to be dispersed along the O-line, to start things off in this scenario. Nsekhe is great depth, but he's not bringing what Dawkins brings as an overall blocker and Spencer Long was pretty good at LG for the Jets; I watched Long in his blocking assignment versus Kyle Williams and he did a pretty good job, and by 'pretty good job', I don't mean 'decent'. He seems to hold up well at the point of attack. I don't believe my eyes were deceived, because I listened to a Jets' fan speak on Long's departure, to gauge his value in the fans' eyes, and he pretty much stated that the Jets' O-line production improved when he was moved from the center position---where he struggled---to left guard.
  2. I don't think Spain will be a starter. If I had to guess I'd go with Dawkins, Long, Morse, Feliciano, Ford Post-trade: Williams, Long, Morse, Ford, Dawkins...that would be strong if Dawkins held up at RT.
  3. This is where I'm at, exactly.
  4. Obviously. To enter the conversation of league's best, you'd have to at the very least, work your way into that top tier of CB's first; I don't think Tre'D' is in that group just yet.
  5. Nice way to merge two separate ideas, for the sake of venting about being wrong on Peterman starting the 2018 season. You seem to have gotten it all out of your system, good for you. Lol
  6. He did. I like Tre'D' a lot, think he's very good, and feel like he could be on the cusp of becoming one of the elites; I just think he's off by a little currently, based on his sophomore season. I think next season could be the year where he's emerges as an undoubted, premier corner.
  7. Poor assumption considering it's your infatuation with Kay Adams, that led to her assessment of Tre'D'---which is founded on a Week 6 performance---being a topic of discussion. Even Tre'D' knows that there's more that he has to show, if he's to be considered the 'league's best'.
  8. That'll happen when you only watch a quarter of the season, and cling to Kay Adams' breakdown of the parts you missed.
  9. Revis was well-established and made the Pro Bowl in each of those seasons.
  10. IJS, Tre'D' needs to rectify that if he gets his chance again because it was a shockingly, horrible game. He just couldn't stop the bleeding. There was also the game against the Jets, where he defended Robby Anderson and gave up the big gain late that allowed the go-ahead TD, in the Jets/Darnold comeback win. He has to take his game to a higher level, otherwise he will continue to be thought of as being a Tier 2 CB.
  11. I don't see the connection.
  12. Kenny Golloday says otherwise. Tre 'D' gotta get Golloday back before he can be mentioned as being the best.
  13. Damn. I thought Kroft would prove to be the most important acquisition at receiver. Hopefully Knox can step in right away.
  14. 1.O-line 2. Ed Oliver 3. Tyler Kroft 4. Singletary/Gore 5. Beasley
  15. I'll wager against that lineup, if you're down.
  16. I like what we've got back there. Tre'D, Levi, EJ, Taron, and Ryan Lewis. Solid on paper, given what each has accomplished here.
  17. When I saw EJ Gaines' name on the roster a few weeks ago, I thought it was a typo; subtle, under-the-radar, signing that could go a long way for the defense.
  18. Give Duke one play at corner, if Gronk un-retires. Four people is pretty damn impressive.
  19. Still got Cincinnati and Kansas City as landing spots, should things fail.
