  1. No, it's the old "give the guy who affected QB play throughout preseason and at times during the regular season with his limited opportunities more snaps" call.
  2. Being consistently productive and playing up to his contract would beat the hell out of looking dominant for the first time all season against a rookie on a 1-win team. Wouldn't oppose Darryl Johnson getting more of Murphy's reps.
  3. Yeah, what better time for Trent Murphy to begin imposing his will than against a rookie QB on a 1-win team?
  4. Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked at all. Daboll sparingly uses the run game and I think it could be about as productive without Gore if Singletary began to receive the bulk of carries. From the start I saw Gore as a trade chip...could be wrong of course.
  5. The Bears don't have a higher grade on Miller than Trubisky, if they were to move on from anybody in an attempt to upgrade the offense, it would be from Miller. Foster and Miller's rookie production balance out; Foster had more yardage in fewer games/starts, while Miller had more receiving touchdowns. I don't think it's far-fetched to believe that such a swap could go down. *Frank Gore was included in my initial trade scenario* A receiver, Gore, and a 4th/5th for Miller could also move the needle.
  6. I stated in another thread that Robert Foster of last season is what's missing from the Bills' offense this season, but he wasn't even that presence through preseason. Is his absence this season totally due to injury or from a failure to progress significantly from where he left off last year? Only the coaches know the deal, but my gut feeling is that it's the latter...I have no proof, that's just my feeling. I think it's a realistic trade possibility. Not saying the receiver search ends by acquiring Anthony Miller, I just think the team would just be getting another solid option to throw to moving forward; Miller was a standout in college, one of the physically stronger WR's at the Combine, has good, not great speed, strong hands (I understand he has the occasional focus drop), and would bring the same flare (personality-wise) as Foster that can rev up a crowd and teammates after a big play, which we don't really get from Beasley or Brown. I'm all for waiting on Robert Foster if his lack of action is squarely due to injury, but if not, I'd make a play for Miller because he could become commodity if Trubisky and the Bears offense were to get it together.
  7. Miller hasn't proven to be a spark for the Bears' offense this season under Trubisky (Chicago is 29th passing) and Robert Foster's faster; the Bills could sell the Bears on Foster's speed, his youth---they're around the same age--- and his rookie production. The Bears need RB help, as their ground game has fallen off from just a season ago, and they could be looking for draft picks seeing how they have no picks until the fifth round after their first two picks.
  8. Bills get: Anthony Miller, 6th rd. pick (from Philadelphia) Bears get: Robert Foster, TJ Yeldon, 4th rd. pick
  9. Lol. It's a joke until he becomes a Bill. Mike Evans would be an upgrade at WR obviously, but anything more than a 3rd and Bills' fans will begin losing sleep at night at some point, wondering if the team got its money's worth. Mike Evans has never had a season with a catch % of 60 or better more than once and the season he did, it was slightly lower than Sammy Watkins' best season with the Bills; Sammy Watkins didn't feel like a go-to receiver even in his best season with Buffalo. I'm just sayin'.
  10. Groin injury apparently. Perhaps they're trying to nurse him back to 101% health, before letting him hit the field again.
  11. Missing offensive weapon is last year's Robert Foster; there wouldn't be all this discussion to trade for a receiver if that Robert Foster was in the mix.
  12. I don't know...Brady, Garoppolo, Brissett...the Patriots are kinda like the #1 exporter of franchise quarterbacks.
  13. Nah man, I gotta go with 'Tre D'...no exaggeration and straight to the point.
  14. No, his nickname's 'Tre D', I made it up and have used it longer. No funny business.
  15. Sounds like you're implying that the "bad Int" and the "bad fumble" were gifts handed to the Bills by the Dolphins, versus created by one TreDavious White. If the defense has been stout all season and the offense has looked and felt incomplete all season, what would be your evidence that the Bills have been playing to their competition?
  16. Yeah, it's weird. Even if one's going to defend the actions of a rival as sticking up for his teammate, how do you disregard a Bills' player's helmet being flung across the field by that rival? Real weird.
  17. Agreed. I think Fitzpatrick is going to try come out flinging it like he used to do as a Bill, if the play calls allow for it; he'd love nothing more than to knock his former team off its high. Defense can't have any letups, but I really hope to see some explosion from the offense out of the bye, with so many players returning to action; I had a hard looking at the stat that shows the defense having allowed just 70 points after 5 games, only to look over and see that the offense put up just 20 more. Hopefully the offense's mentality is to come out and prove that it can hold its own weight.
  18. Singletary is Buffalo's greatest, little-mentioned, secret weapon and I don't think a lot of Bills' fans realize it yet, because of his limited action...this is why I could care less about Kenyan Drake. I'm not big into the Madden video game like I used to be when I was younger, but if we're talking that 'Importance to Team' attribute, Singletary's gotta be an 85 at minimum, if Josh Allen is at 90; I think Singletary's that important to the offense's success.
  19. Sorry you failed touch on Milano's role in Landry going overboard.
