  1. Should've given Chase McLaughlin a shot. Smh He's gonna be the funny-looking kicker of the Ravens for years to come in San Fran.
  2. Mobile, Ala. -- When new Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll spoke for the first time since he was hired, he wasn't ready to open up the playbook or evaluate the roster. But in those 10 minutes at the Senior Bowl, Daboll did give some insight into what some of his core offensive beliefs are as well as what he picked up over his career as an offensive coordinator in college and the pros. "I've been doing this for a long time, and again it comes down to preparation throughout the week," Daboll said. "You have to understand what your players do well, the strengths of your players, and then you have to try to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the team your playing. There's no secret recipe to a good call. You have to put the time and the work in just like the players do to give yourself a good chance." Forsaking his foundation...I imagine the end is near for Daboll.
  3. Yeah he loss it. He could've assisted the team in redeeming itself for its mistakes much like Feleciano allowed Allen after his fumble in the red zone. Hauschka has one job: make fields goals. He blew it and is overrated...have thought for a minute now that he is overrated...was so excited when Chase McLaughlin was brought in as a possible replacement.
  4. Should've kept Chase McLaughlin on the roster.
  5. Watch Chase McLaughlin become the 49ers K for the next 10 years. Lol He was the man at Illinois and thought they'd hold on to him.
  6. Voted! Shouldn't this be pinned?
  7. I think they're trying to get his flaws worked out of him before removing the training wheels and seeing what they have in him.
  8. Singletary being utilized correctly is far more important.
  9. I feel like pass rush potential should be undeniable first, and then after that you find ways to get a player free to the QB. Johnson seems to have a natural feel for rushing the QB that Murphy doesn't...gotta get productive players on the field, I feel.
  10. The improvement could very easily be Darryl Johnson right now, if just from a pass-rushing standpoint.
  11. No, it's the old "give the guy who affected QB play throughout preseason and at times during the regular season with his limited opportunities more snaps" call.
  12. Being consistently productive and playing up to his contract would beat the hell out of looking dominant for the first time all season against a rookie on a 1-win team. Wouldn't oppose Darryl Johnson getting more of Murphy's reps.
  13. Yeah, what better time for Trent Murphy to begin imposing his will than against a rookie QB on a 1-win team?
  14. Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked at all. Daboll sparingly uses the run game and I think it could be about as productive without Gore if Singletary began to receive the bulk of carries. From the start I saw Gore as a trade chip...could be wrong of course.
  15. Fine then! As you wish, 31-7!
  16. The Bears don't have a higher grade on Miller than Trubisky, if they were to move on from anybody in an attempt to upgrade the offense, it would be from Miller. Foster and Miller's rookie production balance out; Foster had more yardage in fewer games/starts, while Miller had more receiving touchdowns. I don't think it's far-fetched to believe that such a swap could go down. *Frank Gore was included in my initial trade scenario* A receiver, Gore, and a 4th/5th for Miller could also move the needle.
  17. I stated in another thread that Robert Foster of last season is what's missing from the Bills' offense this season, but he wasn't even that presence through preseason. Is his absence this season totally due to injury or from a failure to progress significantly from where he left off last year? Only the coaches know the deal, but my gut feeling is that it's the latter...I have no proof, that's just my feeling. I think it's a realistic trade possibility. Not saying the receiver search ends by acquiring Anthony Miller, I just think the team would just be getting another solid option to throw to moving forward; Miller was a standout in college, one of the physically stronger WR's at the Combine, has good, not great speed, strong hands (I understand he has the occasional focus drop), and would bring the same flare (personality-wise) as Foster that can rev up a crowd and teammates after a big play, which we don't really get from Beasley or Brown. I'm all for waiting on Robert Foster if his lack of action is squarely due to injury, but if not, I'd make a play for Miller because he could become commodity if Trubisky and the Bears offense were to get it together.
  18. Miller hasn't proven to be a spark for the Bears' offense this season under Trubisky (Chicago is 29th passing) and Robert Foster's faster; the Bills could sell the Bears on Foster's speed, his youth---they're around the same age--- and his rookie production. The Bears need RB help, as their ground game has fallen off from just a season ago, and they could be looking for draft picks seeing how they have no picks until the fifth round after their first two picks.
  19. Bills get: Anthony Miller, 6th rd. pick (from Philadelphia) Bears get: Robert Foster, TJ Yeldon, 4th rd. pick
  20. Josh Allen isn't the perfect QB either.
