  1. Not sure who the hot candidate name was the season McDermott was brought in, but I can remember McDermott's name being brushed aside and slightly mocked when I mentioned him and Vic Fangio as the guys the Bills should be looking to bring in, if they didn't stay in-house with Anthony Lynn.
  2. A lot of you mocking Lynn now, mocked the McDermott hire at the time if we're going to be honest. A lot of you wanted the "hot" candidate...I think it was Kyle Shanahan at the time.
  3. Lamar Jackson reps the hood and that's why a lot of folks have a problem with the pub and praise he's receiving. I'm definitely rooting for that dude.
  4. Lamar Jackson seems to be on your mind quite a bit. Starting to think you're one of those people bothered by his success and praise.
  5. You're up in arms over Lamar Jackson being "overrated" for the sake of players who are being overlooked and "underrated" because of it? Now he's my favorite QB? Smh No need to get all silly because you oddly have it out for a player who the Bills don't have to face twice each year.
  6. I backpedaled from insinuating that you're a mastermind for "solving" Lamar Jackson, when? My comment was in response to you falsely suggesting that I believe opinions should be outlawed. You were insulted? Well, you kinda insult Lamar Jackson and everything he's accomplished thus far by stating that he's a good read-option QB and nothing more; you kinda insult the game of football by suggesting that you have the blueprint to stop Lamar Jackson after watching three hours of him. Believe it or not, the Patriots were the first to slow down Jackson as a rusher, they allowed two fewer passing TD than the Bills did today and still lost by 17 (his leading receivers in that game were 'Hollywood' Brown and his RB, not his TE). No team before the Bills today had been able to really bottle up Jackson since the Patriots did it, I'm guessing those teams never considered your blueprint?
  7. Everything fell in place for the Bills to clinch a spot with a win today, maybe they get it versus Pittsburgh.
  8. Who said that? You sound like you don't want Lamar Jackson to be regarded as highly as he's been or to have continued success, which seems very strange to me. He threw three TD's and made a few high degree of difficulty throws either from the pocket or on the move that should've been caught by his receivers; he played as well as one could expect playing against a top 3 defense. He's a good pocket passer, who like Josh Allen could improve on his mechanics to be an even better, more consistent passer.
  9. And you're clearly the next great defensive coordinator.
  10. Is this some sort of make-up thread for not being 10-3 right now? Hopefully the laughter is still loud around 4pm.
  11. He's likely somewhere in the middle...in any case, I'm concerned with the Bills learning to win and sustaining a winning culture. I'm all for a competive division, but if the other teams never show up, oh well, advantage Bills if things go right.
  12. Nope, just prefer the Discount Double Check over the Hip Check.
  13. I'm pretty sure the Pats have been more about holding themselves to a high standard and playing up to that standard year in and year out; that's all I care about with the Bills moving forward, follow that model, and things should fall in place regardless of what's going on outside of the organization.
  14. Or maybe you're just used to that type of hip gyration between two men and have become desensitized.
  15. Keep doing your thing Tre D...everything but the "hip check". Made me feel mad unconformable.
  16. I think he'd thrive at G for the most part, but I think he'd still struggle a bit picking up blitzes that aren't coming straight at him. Stop trying to fit a square peg in a round hole and just find a high quality replacement at RT.
  17. Smh. He could've been tucked away on the practice squad; there were signs of Hauschka's decline before that extension.
  18. Ol' crybaby Tim Ryan was searching for a way to explain away the lackluster performance of what he thought was a vaunted 49ers defense and he pulled nonsense out of his race-centered bag of tricks, and then tried to mask it with other elements to give credence to his foolishness. Didn't see Tim Ryan on the field one time, strapped up with a helmet for him to be able to speak so factually about poor visibility or ball location due to Lamar Jackson's 'dark skin'...but I did see a whole lot of Fred Warner. Being that Lamar Jackson is "skilled" at play action fakes because of his 'dark skin' then shouldn't every Ravens opponent get lit up like a Christmas tree on an 11yd a pop average like the Rams did the week prior the 49ers game? I mean, the Patriots seemed to be pretty good at game-planning and holding Lamar Jackson to under a 4yd a carry average. But then again, he wasn't wearing his dark tights for that home game. Smh Way to discredit a possible actual skill, break it down, and reduce it to a mere advantage based on skin color, Silly Tim.
