  1. it may not be abroad by then
  2. The Dems utterly disgraced themselves tonight...they are a horrible collection of evil, heartless human beings. They proved themselves yet again to be completely clueless and totally out of their depth. Their time in opposition will be lengthy.
  3. Pay him like a top DE2. 12-15 per - not a cent more
  4. I see the usual collection of lefty toerags are laying the boot into the US president, Trump Derangement Syndrome in full effect. Bottom line is that the Ukrainian charity case with the big spending Gucci wife walked into the most powerful office on the planet and made demands that equated to the serving up of a political sh1t sandwich. Unfortunately for him - and his credibility - it was Trump who made him eat it. What I would do for Australia to have a decisive leader with a steel backbone like Trump. Instead, we've got a beta male version of Biden minus the dementia. Don't ever take the president for granted. He is a gift to the US from the Lord our God.
  5. Spot on I would add that it is not an apples to apples comparison with Brees: 1. Brees throws never had the sheer velocity that JAs do, and as such you would expect a few of those to be dropped. 2. Further to point 1 and your main point - our targets get below average separation, which means there are more Dbs, LBs and even DL men batting down passes whilst JA is looking for the open receiver. 3. You also need to consider the catching reliability of our WRs, TEs and RBs - all except Shakir and Hollins (and possibly Ty) have demonstrated a significant case of the dropsies. This goes back to the likes of Gabe Davis and Trent Sherfield as well. JAs best completion stats were recorded when he had the likes of Diggs and Beasley. In summary - receiving talent matters.
  6. Spare me, please. You're a Biden / Pelosi Catholic in my book. A net negative at best - and that's being generous. And I say this as someone who has a long list of faults and is under no illusion as to his own shortcomings. JPII would be turning in his grave listening to this guy beat down on his traditional worshippers, whilst wondering "what were my colleagues thinking?". Yes, the hypocrisy is truly staggering. It will be a cold day in hell before I take my moral cues from the likes of them.
  7. Factual response. I don't wish for the guy to suffer, but he never should have gotten the gig. Not fit to tie the shoelaces of JP2 or Benedict 16. And I say this as a born and bred Roman Catholic. Woke has NO place in our church and this bloke has brought it front and centre, whilst belting traditional Catholics over the head.
  8. Well, she does look like a guy....makes sense that she wants them to participate in women's sports. Still, Trump gave her the mother of all smackdowns
  9. I saw a poll which put forward the question: "Are the Dems acting responsiblly in Congress" 21% voted yes 68% voted no 11% undecided The bible says "first remove the plank from your own eye before taking out the speck from another person's eye" You lot are going to be in opposition for a LOOOOOOOOONG time.
  10. Someone get this guy a beer, he deserves it!
  11. This has taken an unexpected turn. I'd consider 4 yrs / 36m - not a cent more. He's unlikely to agree to those terms so expect he'll be gonski.
  12. What an epic thread, kudos! Apologies for my ignorance, but can someone please inform me what the FAFO acronym stands for?
  13. Here is a photo of a soccer game at the MCG: A soccer field is 68m (about 75 yds) wide. Take a look how far away the advertising boards (which are an additional 10 yards from the playing field) are from the first row of seats. Now....imagine how far those seats will be from a much narrower gridiron. Right city, wrong stadium.
  14. It's a LARGE ROUND cricket ground. Completely the wrong size and shape, fans will miles from the sidelines. Not suitable for an NFL game.
  15. I'm afraid you cannot polish a turd. You can only roll it in glitter (surgical gloves are recommended)
  16. What's the difference between the Bills and a bucket of crap? The bucket.
  17. He has loads of natural ability. And he showed that in his first season. That's what makes it so perplexing. There has clearly been a drop off this year. Some of it is on Brady I think, but Dalton has to cop his share of the criticism. I wouldn't be shocked if he had a big one tomorrow. But it's not likely based on this year's form.
  18. It's particularly depressing when you consider the performance of other young tight ends like La Porta and Bowers who are doing more with lesser QB"s. Maybe he shows up down the stretch.
  19. Brian Lara. Who is he you ask? He was once the greatest cricketer on the planet (late 90's - early 2000's)...even had his own video game:
  20. Is objective criticism of the coach not allowed? I only pointed out that he has made some bad calls in the big moments. That doesn't mean he is a failure - far from it. And I said as much. But he does need to avoid the deer in the headlights moments that have plagued his tenure. In terms of extracting the most out of a group of players, there may be none better in the NFL.
  21. A fantastic Monday to Saturday coach, is a great leader, developer and motivator of men. Game day - hmmmm......you know how well that has gone in some of the big moments. Not sure about most outstanding coach in the NFL...that seems a bit of a stretch to me. Needs to start winning some big game moments for mine. He has a chance to do exactly that on Sunday.
  22. Yep. Black. Female. Lesbian. It's a combo that's frequently destined for failure.
  23. First thing in the morning. No ifs or buts. I've seen (and had) enough.
