  1. Given that my hypothesis was that our key to success this coming season no matter who was at QB was pounding the rock on the ground, ehhh I'd say with the 1st pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select _________________________.
  2. Maybin is very difficult to beat IMO.
  3. Hell even then, if he flying Delta to ATL it was most likely delayed. One of the worse airports man.
  4. I saw a picture with him and Gore yesterday in a column. https://clutchpoints.com/nfl-news-lesean-mccoy-frank-gore-working-out-together-as-respected-vets/ All this says is that McCoy couldn't have been there. Whether or not people were sent there is the question. In any case, just letting the investigation unfold.
  5. To me, if it is fake I think McCoy should have some say so in the repercussions.
  6. Only thing is he said he's had nothing to do with those involved for months. So does he know these people or not? IF he knows them then it's going to get investigated. Even if innocent this is straight UGLY.
  7. Did I say he owed us anything? If anything he owes it to himself, his teammates. All I said was the situation requires a response. To who? I did not say. These are moral allegations that call for a response, like all moral allegations do, whether that be from McCoy, his woman, a publicist.
  8. True or fake it is terrible and a response is required.
  9. If it is not true, you think McCoy would want his name and image being dragged in the mud like this? These are egregious allegations that if not true demand a proper response. But if they are true you still have to respond. Own up to it.
  10. Did I say it was credible? NO. All I said was to say it doesn't mean anything is to be naive. As I just posted, I'm not suggesting anything about the guilt or lack thereof of McCoy. But with something like this being out there it demands a response, and an investigation.
  11. It means that too. It means a lot of things was my point. I'm not suggesting anything about the guilt or lack thereof concerning McCoy at this point. All I'm saying is is that with this starting to surface action is going to be required.
  12. It means it's starting to pick up steam. It also means McCoy is going to have to make a statement. It also means that an investigation is going to be pursued. The results of all of that, we don't know, but to say it doesn't mean anything is to be naive.
  13. I dunno. I'm not suggesting anything. I'm just saying it's starting to pick up in other spots.
  14. It just surfaced on another site https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/lesean-mccoy-accused-of-brutally-beating-girlfriend-news.54697.html and it's starting to pick up on Twitter.
  15. His tackle numbers declined but did Luke's and K Short's increase?
  16. I still have Allen winning the job. I don't care that he was with the 3rd string all throughout mini camps/OTA. Cam Newton was there his rookie season too. It's where they are at the end of training camp. Allen just can make downfield throws that AJ and Peterman can't make. To me, it's just if his decision making is comparable. If it is anywhere close you have to go with Allen IMO.
  17. Which is the reason why IF we "overpaid" I'm completely fine with it if our run defense is anything similar to the Panthers. I think we could have been more competitive and won at least three more games last season with a better run defense.
  18. All I will say with Star is this. What he does in the defense is not splashy. But there are reasons why Luke, and K Short excel. 1. They are good. 2. There has to be someone else there to keep guys off of Luke and allow K Short to go 1v1. PFF can't talk about him being ranked dead last, but they don't know the scheme and what he's being asked to do. The Panthers were tough to run on and he is a big part of that. If he can help that happen here then I'm good with it. The thing with PFF is that I find it no coincidence that they are basing this off of tackle numbers. In 2013 Star had 37 solo, 4 assists and 4 sacks and 7 tackles for loss. But his numbers have declined every year since 2013 to a whopping 12 tackles in 2016 with 1 for loss and 15 in 2017 with 3 for loss. They take these numbers and compare to other guys at the position then rank them. That's fine but it doesn't factor in what a guy is being asked to do in a defense. Did we overpay? Maybe, but if his play allows Edmunds to run around and eat vs the run like Luke and our run defense is in the top 7 in the league then I'm fine with the overpay.
  19. They paid Murphy too much money. My thing with Murph and Shaq is that I don't really see Murph as more talented and I don't think he will generate more than 9 sacks if he gives us that. If they like Odigi then Shaq is going to be trade bait for a WR or OL most likely. I'm not a fan of it but it's just what it is.
  20. Agreed. I don't understand how people are taking this where the Ravens haven't indicated they are taking it.
  21. Murphy honestly hasn't shown much in his career of getting to the QB either. He had one season with 9 sacks but outside of that he hasn't really shown much. His first couple of seasons are very much like guess who, Shaq Lawson. In his third season he put things together, notched 9 sacks and had a pretty high pressure rate but before that, mehhh. I say keep both of them. Talented rotation is a plus in this league.
  22. Not going to be surprised of a lockout. Coercion is the worse way to "negotiate."
  23. Duhhhh, if you read my response in like two post later you'll see I acknowledged that and was giving more of a reaction than anything. Thanks.
  24. I agree actually, it just makes the offense look neglected. I know we'll sign offensive players before it is all said and done. Just an immediate reaction.
  25. I like his play and versatility but we can't sign him before signing more quality OL and WR help. The offense is in desperate need of playmakers and trench players.
