  1. I was looking away damn. What did Crowell do?
  2. LOL @ Aikman talking up Dennison.
  3. The players make what they make because the NFL makes obscene levels of money. They absolutely should get more of the golden goose. The current CBA is inadequate. That being said, I'm not sure this is the best way to go about getting a fairer share.
  4. It's amazing how quickly their bodies can go to crap in some cases. Just a few years ago this guy was playing well. I legitimately remember thinking that Vontae moved like an old man during the Bills Embedded series. I think he made the right choice for himself Sunday afternoon. I have a feeling he truly believed he had one more year left and wanted to contribute to this team, but even he understood that he was a liability and that this move was addition by subtraction for the Bills.
  5. Gene’s explanation makes sense. Damn.
  6. It’s close but I think that’s Buffalo’s ball.
  7. At least they look more like a real football team this half. Like real men with real pride in their craft.
  8. Play action pass that results in a sack.
  9. Yup. I'm praying that these 2 can stay healthy for all 16 games. They will get experience and the rough season will build character.
  10. Agreed. And the way they did it is pretty clever (i.e. having $54 million in dead cap). McD can save face and say they tried their hardest with what they had to work with. Getting rid of bad contracts and players that didn't fit their system for draft capital AND subtly setting up your tank by handicapping your team for a season with all that dead money? Double-whammy right there.
  11. Oof that list isn't pretty. I'd take Kalil, Iupati, and Henderson over Groy, Vlad, and Mills... but I see your point.
  12. I'd like to see some serious investment in the trenches next year. Maybe draft some front seven guys and spend $$ on OL in Free Agency. WRs take a bit to develop, and I'm not against drafting one for the long haul, but because Allen needs help sooner rather than later I think we need to pick up a legitimate weapon in FA next off season. And can we finally draft a 21st-century NFL tight end? You know, the ones that seemingly every other team loves to carve us up with?
  13. I know I would be.
  14. No. Putting Allen in temporarily lit a fire under the team's arse.
  15. I genuinely believe this is what $54 million in dead cap looks like. Short-term, this is going to be ugly. Long-term, we have reason for optimism. The Bills haven't truly bottomed out since the playoff drought started in 1999. Sometimes you need to take 1 step back before you take 2 steps forward.
  16. I never understood betting jargon. This thread is basically another language to me.
  17. Do you know which 2 got picked up?
  18. I missed this one yesterday. Thanks for sharing. I disagree with his assertion that Kavanaugh will put his political beliefs in a box labelled "irrelevant" but everything else Sen. Sasse said in principle is spot on. It's exactly why I want term limits for the legislature: it makes their job becomes legislating rather than reelection.
  19. I don't think there's enough depth on the defensive front to afford to let him go.
  20. That's a fair comparison. I always thought Rivers had a goofy throwing motion. Glad to see it wasn't just me.
  21. Cool. Thanks for sharing the video.
  22. I think it said somewhere that they are donating upwards of $400k to the Angel Fund.
  23. Browns have talent on that D-line.
