  1. At least they look more like a real football team this half. Like real men with real pride in their craft.
  2. Play action pass that results in a sack.
  3. Yup. I'm praying that these 2 can stay healthy for all 16 games. They will get experience and the rough season will build character.
  4. Agreed. And the way they did it is pretty clever (i.e. having $54 million in dead cap). McD can save face and say they tried their hardest with what they had to work with. Getting rid of bad contracts and players that didn't fit their system for draft capital AND subtly setting up your tank by handicapping your team for a season with all that dead money? Double-whammy right there.
  5. Oof that list isn't pretty. I'd take Kalil, Iupati, and Henderson over Groy, Vlad, and Mills... but I see your point.
  6. I'd like to see some serious investment in the trenches next year. Maybe draft some front seven guys and spend $$ on OL in Free Agency. WRs take a bit to develop, and I'm not against drafting one for the long haul, but because Allen needs help sooner rather than later I think we need to pick up a legitimate weapon in FA next off season. And can we finally draft a 21st-century NFL tight end? You know, the ones that seemingly every other team loves to carve us up with?
  7. I know I would be.
  8. No. Putting Allen in temporarily lit a fire under the team's arse.
  9. I genuinely believe this is what $54 million in dead cap looks like. Short-term, this is going to be ugly. Long-term, we have reason for optimism. The Bills haven't truly bottomed out since the playoff drought started in 1999. Sometimes you need to take 1 step back before you take 2 steps forward.
  10. I never understood betting jargon. This thread is basically another language to me.
  11. Do you know which 2 got picked up?
  12. I missed this one yesterday. Thanks for sharing. I disagree with his assertion that Kavanaugh will put his political beliefs in a box labelled "irrelevant" but everything else Sen. Sasse said in principle is spot on. It's exactly why I want term limits for the legislature: it makes their job becomes legislating rather than reelection.
  13. I don't think there's enough depth on the defensive front to afford to let him go.
  14. That's a fair comparison. I always thought Rivers had a goofy throwing motion. Glad to see it wasn't just me.
  15. Cool. Thanks for sharing the video.
  16. I think it said somewhere that they are donating upwards of $400k to the Angel Fund.
  17. Browns have talent on that D-line.
  18. Yep. It's certainly arguable that we have the least talented roster. For example, I think the Browns have more talent on their roster, but the organization and coaching staff is a dumpster fire. The only positions of strength are secondary and RB. WRs are probably the worst, TEs are among the worst if not the worst, OL might be the worst. The front 7 doesn't scare anyone.
  19. I loved this part. Why take some standardized measurement and try to make everyone conform to it when people come in all shapes, sizes, and types? Your body knows what the most stable position for your feet is. It's completely automatic, too. This is just a natural way for the body to tell the instructor where his base is. Awesome!
  20. This thread is very Billsy.
  21. That's a bit of a stretch, especially since ~80% of all German casualties occurred on the Eastern Front. "The Eastern Front was decisive in determining the outcome in the European theater of operations in World War II, eventually serving as the main reason for the defeat of Nazi Germany and the Axis nations." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Front_(World_War_II) Although the weapon certainly helped play a part in the ridiculous K/D ratios seen in the Pacific Theater.
  22. O’Leary deserves a roster spot.
  23. Looking forward to episode 2. McD seems like one hell of a coach.
