That's another thing I noticed. On Sunday, Allen showed marked improvement from his first 2 games with certain throws. He's learning how to best utilize that cannon on his shoulder, including when to throw it with some touch and accuracy. That type of improvement is EXACTLY what you want to see from your young franchise QB.

Ditto down to the word + Tre White. Also, I think McD displayed some exemplary leadership by giving Frazier the game ball after taking away play calling duties from him last week. Leslie earned it, but props to McD for acknowledging it. I think this is great for the coaches' chemistry moving forward.

The players make what they make because the NFL makes obscene levels of money. They absolutely should get more of the golden goose. The current CBA is inadequate. That being said, I'm not sure this is the best way to go about getting a fairer share.

It's amazing how quickly their bodies can go to crap in some cases. Just a few years ago this guy was playing well. I legitimately remember thinking that Vontae moved like an old man during the Bills Embedded series. I think he made the right choice for himself Sunday afternoon. I have a feeling he truly believed he had one more year left and wanted to contribute to this team, but even he understood that he was a liability and that this move was addition by subtraction for the Bills.

Agreed. And the way they did it is pretty clever (i.e. having $54 million in dead cap). McD can save face and say they tried their hardest with what they had to work with. Getting rid of bad contracts and players that didn't fit their system for draft capital AND subtly setting up your tank by handicapping your team for a season with all that dead money? Double-whammy right there.
