So the main issue with Allen is completion % because all I’ve been hearing is that it will NOT improve in the NFL , correct me if I’m wrong it’s somewhere between 56% - 57 % , was there ever a QB drafted with the same completion % that had success in the NFL ? Can someone check what was Dan Marino completion % when he got drafted ? Thank you !

Is that what call it ? ( fire ?) The coaches have another word for it , and about moving up for him ( IMO ) I don’t think so , I’m not even sure we take him if he’s there at 12 ,

For example- If Darnold is plan A and is the only QB that McBean is willing to move up and give up bunch of picks for , and Cleveland takes him at 1 Rudolph is plan B , then take him at 12 why gamble and have someone jump in front of you and take him ? Especially team like NE* F@$& the LB’s , DT and every other position Lets get our QB already ,

^^^^^^this just like Rosen’s 5 minutes interview yesterday , they heard him say he’s willing to work harder then anyone cause he wants to be the GOAT ! And that was it EVERYBODY wants Rosen ,

I’m starting to believe that this could actually happen , if you look at his resume - 4 year starter basically ( from A - Z ) he’s exactly the type of player that McBean is looking for , it wouldn’t surprise me if we take him at 12 even if one of the ( top - 4 ) QB’s are available , I a lot of people would be disappointed if he’s the pick especially at 12 ,

Q And your point is ? I don’t think they’re were saying not to draft a QB in the first round ( maybe few idiots were ) i think the whole issue was that Schoop was basically making fun of people who would suggest that AJ even has a chance to be a quality starting QB

I don’t know if AJ will succeed or not , but I hope he gets his fair shot , and I’ll be rooting for him just as I would for anyone wearing Bills uniform!!

If that’s the case then why not just stay put at 12 and take one ? Or maybe even trade down few spots and get an extra 2nd round pick ?

This would be the worse scenario for the Jets NOT us , they gave 3 second round picks to move up for Mayfield , Rosen will still be there at 6 actually it wouldn’t surprise me if Rosen is still there at 12

I hope this happens , Mayfield is my (by far) my favorite QB in this draft , I would rather him go to Cleveland then the f@$\n Jets ! God ? please let Rosen be the one to go to the Jets!!!

Let me ask you this Do you think McBeane is willing to move up for any of the ( so called ) top 4 QB’s ? Do you really believe that the goal is to get anyone of them ? Is it a possibility that there’s maybe only 2 that are worth of trading up for? And what if Cleveland takes one of them and Giants take the other , Should we still try to move up ?

I’d rather Allen at 7 , then Rosen at 2

If Mayfield is of the board before Cleveland pick # 4 then I’m fine just staying put at 12 , As long as nobody jumps ahead of us for a QB ( Arizona/ Miami /especially NE*)

I know Allen & Rudolph both need time , but IYO who do you think is a bigger project and needs more time to develop ? I think Rudolph may go earlier then we think I would hate if we used our 12 pick on him , but I don’t believe he will slide all the way to 22 I still believe McBeane will get something done , maybe not with the Giants but Cleveland @ 4 , or Colts/Denver is still a good possibility, all depends ( of course) on what happens with the first 3 picks ,

I liked/agree with everything you said except the Rosen part !!!

IMO I see Rosen as a HUGE BUST , I’m not 100% sold on Darnold as well , MY choice was , and still is Mayfield , he’s the only one I would be willing to give up 2 - 1st and what ever else it takes , im not an expert nor do I pretend to be , I’m simply stating my opinion, but I will support who ever it is that we decide to go with in the draft , I maybe disappointed ( YES ) but I will leave my pitchfork in the closet ( for now )

Reeeeeeeeeeeeally ?? And what if the target was Mason Rudolph all along ? And the move to # 12 was for a stud LB or DT ? ( Generally speaking) People make some ridiculous statements based on their own opinions ( NOT facts ) and if do not agree ( I’m pretty sure you know where I’m going with that )
