I am 10000000% convinced this OL is better blocking the run than pass block. Shifting our gameplan to the run was the right move. I am not saying Josh still wont have 400 throwing yard games BUT, we are not killing the clock like we did by throwing. I once thought we could kill the clock like this just by a ton of short throws. death by 1000 needles.. Defenses are to good and mistakes happen to often in todays NFL to do it.

He wont have a choice. Settlements happen every year no matter the size of the contract. Von will not have a choice but to settle on an agreement. THATS how this works.

Contract? will be null and voided if this is a career ender and a settlement will be made to let go of von. Paying Von that much to sit out the rest of this year and most of next year? nope. i dont see it happening

this is my point. The cap this frees up for our future will be immense do to an injury settlement that does NOT affect the cap like people think it does

I think we are all missing some points of interest here. #1. This could be a career ender, especially if this is a full tear #2. GM's make deals with even the best of players to part ways do to injuries that does not affect the cap as much as people think. #3. Von Effect is here in buffalo forever. Von made our young DL players MUCH MUCH better. They learned from here and that will be the gift that keeps giving. The future is bright for what we have. Oliver, Edmunds, AJ, Rousseau.. they all playing better because of what they learned. Von gave this defense the killer attitude. this will never go away

well. how fast will von recover? you think when season ends, the GM/Coaching staff will discuss if von at that age and that injury is recoverable to a pro athlete level? I know I am wondering it. Look. we all said when we got von. realistically maybe we get 3 seasons out of von? 4 max? this could be a career ender.
