So let me get this right.. they show good that he scans the field then after that bad that its one read offense? and then in that one read offense he is zipping ball out of there within 3 seconds? I don't get it. So many good throws out of pocket, running for his life... that's something amazing in itself. One other thing I noticed.. He realizes when he needs to loop that ball in air or when to throw a bullet.. This was the problem JP had and EJ had. and the fact that he has shown improvement in his workouts speaks dividends! He was not my guy when he was drafted but now we have Allen.. Allen is a Buffalo Bill and I am backing him because of that. this isn't called blind faith this is called backing what is on the field. IF you don't like the product when he plays regular season football then great.. till then I hope for the best and root for the team. Anyhow.. The kid has talent and there is no way to deny this. Will it translate to the NFL level? no one really knows for sure but I will be rooting for him.

I watched how he covered well but struggled holding the gaps in many run plays. Lets facts you, myself or the man on the moon will know how he performs at MLB at NFL level. personally I think he will be just fine!

Lol I agree and that's why it makes it interesting because we can tank where they are at in hopes that players turn out. example if we have them ranked 6 now imagine if QB pans out asap. that's whole point.. without making it about the QB I am actually amazed at how far apart the votes really are!

[Note to all So.. Lets take the Rookies out of the equation because we do not know where they will end up. Keep QB conversation out of this topic please.] So. How much more talent does this team need talent wise other then the QB position. I still think we are hurting at the following positions *RB (this is a future thing because of McCoy's age) Guard. I think in FA or next years draft we really have to hammer this position. DE I think this is another position of need in future drafts. OLB. we have one good player here but who is on the other side this year? *S. Again this is future because I doubt we can keep both FS and S after this year. so G, DE and OLB are instant concerns. Thoughts? also with poll do not take QB in consideration! thanks.

This is the positive/negative type posts I love.. It is to soon for me to love Beane and he does leave enough to doubt. I just have to see how all this translates on the field before a judge him.

To be honest I think that's how society is today. Me for example more about getting my point across then worrying about an English professor coming around trying to mock me as far as how I write. I think from talking to many people outside the "world of message boards" people are taking things to the extreme with there verbiage ya know? so now it is showing up on the boards. I get where you are coming from but some things are not worth the stress.

Its a thought.. but to be honest I think they will do the right thing and keep this GM/Coach for 5 years total then judge. I think to follow what Cleveland did for years, removing coaches and GM's every 2-3 years and then Us doing same the last decade is a bad thing. I believe coaches and GM's come in with a 5 year plan and letting that 5 years pan out is important.. Yea if things don't pan out people will be calling for heads.. I will be looking forward to seeing how this works out! fun years to come.. lets hope haha

To be honest I see where your coming from and this goes to far as well. Look they have a right to be ticked off on a decision. I was not happy either.. but I am not running around the board, using my magic crystal ball and living in the past either.. it happened.. I didn't like the pick either but it is what it is and lets see how this ends right?

I don't think your looking at the full picture.. and there are just as many positive judgements on this draft as negative so look at all the draft grades not just the few negative, few positives or in between. There is plenty of positive grades. double edged sword isn't it.. Lets just see how he comes out at end and there you go. lol thanks for proving my original post true! I also liked Rosen and to be honest.. I don't take to heart what Rosen has said has said to the media. Over confidence either gets you a long way in this league or you get stomped on. there is no in between here. lets just see how it end should be fun to watch

yea I think you have me wrong sir. I could of been more specific in my original post but I didn't want to make it lengthy I agree with most of what you have said. I am not sure if you were around during the Jim Kelly days but I am here to tell you he was as cocky and over confident as they come. People loved it and hated it but ya know what? He backed it up.. Lets just see if Allen/Rosen can back up what they say to the press with there gameplay!

I think what I hoped I would get out of this thread has happened, Some have disagreed with me others agree but my whole point is having a healthy conversation abut it instead of insulting other posters, telling them they are clueless, insulting there a fan or not (other then one post lol) and move on. Its conversation we have not been able to have on these forums yet tbh.
