Those of us who are old enough, that have seen talented QB's play for Buffalo saw how good Josh was asap "he passed the eye test" for us. for people 30 years old or younger.. they likely have not. What Josh Allen brings is this amazing story of how the heck could a QB be taught or learn accuracy? The problem is we older fans new the problem wasn't just Josh being a rookie or first year guy. The problem was the pieces were not all there and didn't have a year on the bench to learn. BUT.. It is a story.. and us as humans are suckers for a good story. In some books the first few pages isn't explained till you reach page 10-15. That's where Josh is at. He has now explained the first pages.. I can not wait to see how this book ends.

KC is up by 2 games winning a tie breaker... #2 seed is possible but unlikely. and the titans? they are one game behind but win a tie breaker.. that may be the only reason we push the starters out the last game

Salaries are based on what are you doing now. basically.. in this case they look at the best year they had and the whole picture Edited Salaries are based on.. Average per yea Growth per year and potential. In short.. what Josh does in the playoffs does matter. and not just the superbowl.

Look When MVP is Judged its a 3 horse race right now with Mahomes leading the way. When your talking about the best QB PERIOD... History comes in... Now.. in a way its not fair cause Mahomes already had the pieces around him his first year and he sat a year. BUT. no matter the reasons.. No matter what aaaaaallllllllll the excuses are.. So I'm going to break this question down.. First.. this topic has been talked about for a long time.. Pick up 5th year or pay the man... You do not want to set a precedence by forcing high caliber players to wait a year on a big contract. The last thing I wanted Josh to do is chuck it down the field 50 yards and catch the ball on stride.. Check...That side line pass to Diggs was stupid good.. Contract Length. The shorter the length the more chance that opens things up on Josh leaving us after that year. if for some reason things go bad. 6-7 years makes sense. How much? The longer you wait the more your going to pay him. He proves he wan win a playoff game... bam add a few more mil a year.. He proves he can get us to the AFC Champ Game.. Boom a few more mill.. He gets you to a super bowl.. few more mill.. He WINS? 10 mil more. His contract numbers will be based on how he evolves in the playoffs this year.. If he does not win a Playoff game? 30-34 Mil. Wins one game. 33-35 Mil. Gets us to the afc champ game? 38 mil. Gets to a super bowl .. 40+.. Wins a super bowl? 45+ its to early to gauge

Look people.. Mahomes is the best right now.. Half of it is because he is playoff SB proven. That being said... We STILL have not seen Josh Allen's ceiling.. STILL... Josh is going to get better still.. And when he shuts peoples mouths in the playoffs, more people are going to be on board.. RIGHT NOW! its a fair argument that Mahomes is better.. Get over it.
