  1. Hate to bust your bubble by Russ Salvatore isnt a boomer. He was born in 1933
  2. I want trying to dampen the mood, I just didn't see him on the field much if at all after the interception.
  3. Starting to be a concern for me. He had 1 or 2 last week. 1 for sure drop this week and the interception seemed to bounce off his hands so that might make 6 or 7 on the year. Not sure but I dont think I saw him on the field after the interception. Did anyone notice if they benched him or restrict his playing time after that?
  4. I was just about to post this. He was a solid trooper for many years and doesn't get the love he deserves. I dont think I have seen him in any commercials or local radio stations since he left.
  5. That kind of kills the whole "we wont print her name" thing doesn't it? How many people from Buffalo show up on the Jerry Springer show?
  6. I could see your point if he looked like he was taking it seriously but it looks to me like he is just playing around and having fun. I really dont see why that would bother anyone.
  7. Seriously? Because he has a sneaker line? Because he is old he should always wear dress shoes???? Am I missing something here??
  8. Why are you saying he is pretend to be young and hip? I mean its not like he is wearing a backwards hat with his pants down showing off his underwear. He is just doing the old guy snoopy dance and fist bumping Bon Jovi (who is 56 BTW so no spring chicken either). Looks like he is just having fun to me.
  9. These roads aren't that kind of gravel they are gravel because the road itself is so destroyed rocks and gravel is all that is left. One of the other posters commented that is because of NOLA being under sea level and in fact that is what one of the local told me was the reason for the crumbling roads. Whatever the reason its the worst I have ever seen and I was military for 20 years and have traveled all over the world. I had a really good time there. I am not knocking the place but the roads are crazy bad.
  10. Just in NOLA a week ago. Pretty shocked at the state of their roads, way worse then Buffalo even after a heavy winter, some of the side streets were nothing but gravel
  11. Hold on there sparky, I am "older". When I was a kid they played at the rock pile. I have no special attachment to the Orchard Park stadium. Downtown and covered (Roof, dome I dont care). For everyone that says they would go to less indoor games because that isn't real football I can point to 5 other people who dont go now because of the weather. I used to love being at the games in the 20 degree temperatures...... After passing the big five zero not so much.
  12. Shady wasn't a known team cancer, and he wasn't 31 when we made the trade. Down the road for this guy is 34 or 35 yrs old.
  13. Charlie Sheen said he he wasn't paying for the sex, he was paying for them to go away after the sex. ? Makes sense if you think about it.,
  14. I remember the year of the " Ickey shuffle" I was going to say Karlos williams but I think Ickey tops him, that guy was a beast for one year.
  15. I go to a couple of games a year but never had season tickets myself. How much are the heated seats?
  16. I am pretty sure he is talking about the culture. I have coached down south and up here and he is right. The turn out for highshool and LL football down south is phenomenal. Locally I think we have some show on Saturday that covers high-school ball. Down there they are talking about it all week during prime time. Its just a different animal
  17. The Saints game was terrible but the refs screwed over the chiefs against the Pats as well. The ridiculous roughing the passer penalty that gave the Pats a 1st down they scored on was the worst. ...and really wtf is up with Brady hugging the referee before the Chargers game? I have been watching football since my old man used to make me hold up the bunny ears on the TV in 1969. Every year it gets harder and harder to watch. An exciting play happens and you have to wait before you can celebrate because your looking at the TV waiting for the little flag thing to show up. You need a lawyer and 10 different camera angles before you can call a play a play. I used to watch football, any football no matter who was playing. I doubt I will even watch the Superbowl this year and if I do it will just be for the commercials. I honestly don't think I can even call myself a football fan anymore. Just a Bills fan. All this over refereeing and replay has just killed the game for me.
  18. Young building teams should never tank regardless of the reason. It sets a bad precedent.
  19. I might be in the minority here but anything less then a playoff berth in 2019 will be a disappointment for me and I would have to question the direction this team is moving. I tried to start a thread about this but it got closed so I will just comment here. We need 2 maybe 3 lineman and a starting wide receiver to be a playoff team IMO. Get a proven true no#1 WR if possible and move Zay to the slot were he is supposed to be with foster on the other side as a burner. If we cant get that with 90 million in cash we need a new front office. Available free agent WR in 2019 https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/wide-receiver/ Available Free agent O Line 2019 https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/offensive-line/ Draft should be BPA if we can shore up the line and get the WR with the cash. As for the rest, this is the NFL in 2019, a running back can be found anywhere particularly since we don't need elite talent just a north south hard runner with the offense we have. I think replacing the lineman will improve the running game regardless. Fixing the line and getting a real No 1 WR should be the priority IMO. Do that and everyone looks better.
  20. Lots of cash and draft picks next year. I am curious what other people would do with them. If a bonafide number 1 receiver is available next year then I would move heaven and earth to get him through free agency. I would also address the O line next year as much as I could through free agency. IMO those are the most glaring needs and having "for sure" players at those positions would be my primary concern. In the draft, TE, CB, LB, another WR, more Oline. Not necessarily in that order. What would you guys do?
  21. Usually when that happens its special teams or coaching. Last two games I thought it was both. Our special teams are not very special and when we have a small lead we do the dreaded "run run pass" series like the game is already wrapped up. Special teams coordinator should be gone and we need to learn to stay aggressive unless we are up by 30. In the new NFL a 10 point lead means nothing unless we are the two minute warning at the end of the game.
