  1. ..............sounds like a moral victory and i ain't in the mood for those these days.
  2. Good, just look at him.........nothing about him even suggests Smiley.
  3. ...........well, apparently JA has lost a step
  4. Congrats. All i know is that when my nephew was growing up, he would call me "Uncle Booby".........to this day, we still don't know where he got it from or what it even means, but 30 years later, i am still ole "Uncle Booby" or if he's being lazy, it's just "Uncle Boobs". .........and as a point of reference, i don't have man cans (i know someone's bringing it up)
  5. RIP Dick. I think a lot of Bills fans were always upset with Jauron for his lack of urgency in game play, his awful game time decisions and his poor post press speeches........"we punted well". At that time, we all wanted more than that, we wanted a HC who could get us over the hump, however, the lack of talent on the field was a huge obstacle for him and how he would pull out even 7 or 8 win seasons is astounding when you actually look back at it.
  6. I agree about Warner.......the guy never gets any love or much recognition for what he's done throughout the years. He is one of the all time great pure pocket passers, no gimmicks, no tricks, no running.......just sit in the pocket and find the WR's. And tough?.......Jesus, the guy took his lumps and came back for more. If i was a franchise in need of a QB and i could pick from any player throughout history, as a pure pocket passer, i'd pick Warner........as a running QB, it would be Vick and as a dual threat, it would be JA.
  7. That's a good hire for NO's and honestly, i don't know what other direction they could have possibly gone other than this.......he may not be able to right that ship, but he'll give them a better chance to be competitive.
  8. ..............has anyone checked on Nick Wright since the news broke last night?!?
  9. I'm actually satisfied with this list. Eric Allen Jared Allen Antonio Gates Sterling Sharpe (senior)
  10. No, but i didn't think either of those would pan out too much and ole Sweats dropped the ball on that one, i can tell you.
  11. I agree with this. When Maye was drafted, i wanted him to go anywhere but the AFCEast. If he can figure it all out and learn how to turn it on, he's going to be a handful for AFC teams. I think he's a little ways out yet, but he does have the potential to be a legit threat and regardless of what people say, he's not a Mac and Cheese 2.0........he's got way more tools in his belt.
  12. I think the Pats will make strides and may even challenge us for the division, however, it won't be for a few more years yet and i don't care how good of a draft they have this season........i really don't see too many impact players that will be coming out without some major development, so our AFCEast crown is safe for awhile.
  13. I'm not saying they aren't productive in their 30's.........what i'm saying and you seem to have misunderstood, is that it might make the FO re-think a strategy of bringing in a player nearing their 30's. I'm not saying our FO won't do it, I'm not saying our FO will never do it.......i'm saying they may think twice about it. That's it, that's all.
  14. I didn't say Von was nearing his 30's, son........i said that the FO might reconsider making any moves for a player nearing their 30's as they saw that a 30+ player was trash..........much like what you've written here.
  15. Franks.......i put that **** on everything.
  16. You see, now that's a turn off for me...........mine have to look heavily used.
  17. With the amount of draft capital we'll have next season and opening up a bit more cap space, i'm feeling confident that we're going to put together another team that can compete, however, keep in mind that other teams in the AFC that only have a few more puzzle pieces are coming in hot themselves.
  18. You see, Brady's time at LSU had him scheming for long balls by using the run and they were unstoppable, so i don't understand all of this underneath, pump and dump, middle of the field strategy cause it goes completely against what made LSU a force.
  19. Trading a 1st round pick for a proven commodity like Diggs, proves that Beane will pull the trigger if he believes that player can make a difference, however, bringing in Von (although not a pick swap) may make him think twice about FA's nearing their 30's. In the beginning, i believed in the FO strategy of building through the draft, however, it's not really working for us, so might as well try something else and kick the tires on a new strategy. IMHO
  20. I'd like a secondary that plays "proactive" and not "reactive", but you need guys with experience to be able to play that way........guys who have the experience to be able to read QB's eyes, tendencies, etc. and be able to project what play is coming or where the ball is going. We play way too much "reactive" ball and give up a ton of yardage due to our "bend, but don't break" philosophy and in the long run when you want to tighten things up in the post season, i don't know how you can possibly win like this.
  21. Does our coaching staff not analyze our own tendencies as well as tendencies against other teams? Do they not understand that what worked in the regular season needs to be changed up for the post season? We're not beating KC in the playoffs cause we play them the exact same way that we play them in the regular season. Reid is way too smart to fall for the same thing twice. He understands coverage, tendencies and throwing different looks in the post season and until our own coaching staff understands this, we are 2nd fiddle to KC.
  22. I know it was a tough ask with so much pressure being in his face, but if JA would have just looked immediately to his left, he had Shakir wide open with miles of daylight in the flat........easily enough for the 1st down anyways. I would trust the ball more with Shakir making a play than Kincaid, that's for sure.
  23. I think i'm going to log off for a while myself and i'm not sure how much NFL i'm going to watch next season. I'm a lifelong Bills fan and i own everything Bills, Bills tattoos, etc. but it's killing me, and todays NFL narratives just don't sit right with me........Hey, if you know, you know. It'll give me more time to focus on college ball (my one true passion.......the Bills too, but i might have to step away for a while and let everything just settle a bit).
  24. Don't forget Coleman for Worthy
  25. If he couldn't play, then why was he even on the field?
