Joe B: I think Tyrod’s a Goner
billsredneck1 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i'm thinking denver takes josh allen at 5 then gives us a 4th for tyrod. ...or better yet they take 21, a 2nd and tyrod for no. 5.( if they land cousins) hopefully they put chad kelly on the p.s. so we can add him to the stable. yes i still want him in buffalo. -
i am praying they get him. i would take him above all the others. if not mayfield i'd sit tight and take rudolph. i get the feeling that they may have concerns about rosen's level of desire and commitment to football and being in buffalo. he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that's going to give 110% or be happy about coming here. he may very well turn mcd and mcb off.

If we keep Tyrod. I'm done.

this should throw out the whole finding someone who can outperform tyrod will cost a fortune argument... anyway, i listened to both mcinterviews yesterday. i think tyrod is definitely going. i think it goes something like this.... 1. they already have the framework of a trade for a mid to late rd. pick after they pay the bonus lined up. 2. they have possible draft day trade partners lined up. 3. they trade up and get rosen or mayfield and are content to roll with nate until if or when the rookie is needed or ready. doing this they could take the dead cap hit and get it out of the way and instead of overpaying one of the upper tier fa's, they have more money for another position(gaines). 4. they stand pat and draft rudolph and sign someone like a matt moore or josh mc to a one or two yr. deal for a few mil. (btw i think moore could have a keenum like year here for about 5mil.) i think it's going to be no.3 there's no way in hell that they are going to pay that much money to tt and also have a hit again next year. not to mention if there were any kind of competition in camp, peterman would beat out tyrod anyway. there is no way tyrod is worth 23 mil. it ain't happening.....thank god. i supported tt at the start of the year and was optimistic even when everyone was crying about how dreadful the schedule looked, but he was flat out horrible. not one ounce of improvement from one year to the next. he's as good as gone. -

Would You Give JF a Flyer at QB ??
billsredneck1 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
....and he can one day be our starting/franchise qb. he has the skills. he is going to light it up come camp time. btw, who do you think...as a backup, would have came in and saved the day against the jags after tt was a turd for 3.5 qtrs? hey, why not give him a shot? a lot of us were aholes at that age. -
If you had to choose between one of these FA DT's

if they can somehow get a.j. signed....i would draft both vea and hurst...man we would have a wwe line inside.. adolphus/hurst williams /vea...the orchard park horror show! or... if we trade a 1st for foles and get vea...we can take harrison or davenport. we have to have a PUNISHING FRONT 4! -

i mentioned in another thread that i wouldn't be surprised if they pulled this off. orchard park would be much like his home town and he may view this team in this division as an opportunity to really make a legacy for himself. maybe he would consider what it would mean to this city and fanbase. -

i'll have to check those out, he was great in that jason stathum movie....hometown? peterman will get us to 10-6/11-5 no worries...just build the team -
this tells me that they got a fa in mind. maybe they give a one for foles. maybe they are looking to sign a.j. and max the picks...either i would be happy with...or maybe they feel they can start nate and take a rudolph or white and maybe even a second one later in riley. i think tt and/ or glenn trade put us in a position to move up without giving up first round draft capitol. i would love to get mayfield,we'll have to wait and see where all the free agents fall. peterson?
-
i'll be bummed if they let brown go. i understand if another team gives an outrageous offer but he is right now the leader of that backside and he IS THE LEAGUE'S LEADING TACKLER. if we put two new monsters on the line, our lbs will be just fine. i would keep lorax and play him as end spelling lawson.we can afford that.
-
i would hope so, but how do they play them ? what order?what scheme?

Team fits for 10 safest picks in NFL draft.
billsredneck1 replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it would be great if we pry foles away, but if we signed mc carron, i'd take vea at 21 then trade down for a 2nd and 3rd, then hopefully grab rudolph or white and harrison phillips, then maybe trade back up and get billy price. -
Should the Bills re-sign Seantrel Henderson?
billsredneck1 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i thought he was going to develop into a decent rt. i certainly thought he could supplant mills. -

i'd rather have vita vea but phillipps and jewel would maybe work, especially with 2-3rd rd. picks....after rudolph and vea at 21/22 i would consider that a haul. -
nathan peterman 2018 1st pro bowl.....leading the bills to 11-5 and divisional round!.....after due to a tie-breaker wins the division for the bbbbbbillls!!!!!!!

if we are sitting there at 21/22 and no shot at a 1st rd. qb...or we get foles or a.j. i am sticking with the best available dt or 2 and/ or possibly davenport. however, my dream would be a killer front four ... adolphus/hurst....vea/ k. williams interior. on the ends i'd have hughes/ yarborough and lawson/lorax ....bad to the bone. we could live with brown, milano, humber, tanner and mid round draft pick at lb. -
not to mention, he has already taken a pay cut and refuses to do so again....got benched, and if he does stay is expected to groom his successor as soon as possible. for those who say keep him as a bridge, ask yourself , why would he want to be here? besides that, peterman will probably take the job from him by september. while i agree that overpaying and giving multiple years to someone like keenum after drafting the best prospect we can this year probably doesn't make sense, what makes less sense is the embarrassment of rolling out tyrod as a starter after scoring 3 points in the first playoff game in 17 years. i don't see it happening. we'd be better starting nate and drafting 2 qbs. maybe mayfield and then ferguson later. i myself would love to have foles or even sign a.j. to a 3 yr. gig then take vea and hurst with our 1st 2 picks. ...or at least one of the top dts and lb or edge. interior of this dline is the most important non qb improvement needed. who knows how it will play out. they will have a trade for tt all lined up come fa or will have a draft day deal made.
