but if they cut him, aren't they stuck with more than that in dead money? i think they're doing the smart thing here. i also would not doubt that they have talked to teams that would be interested depending on how the top free agents shake out. i also think taking the chance that he may make a draft day trade easier is a real possibility, (which may also be an ongoing discussion with other teams). so worse case scenario, if i'm not mistaken is that if they end up releasing him before june 1st, then they eat a couple more mil. tyrod will not be starting here next year no matter what(thankfully). he is not going to want to be here, he will not take another paycut and he will not agree to be a backup here. it's just a matter of the fo and their tt exit strategy.

i watch the last few minutes of the saints game and in my opinion i think it's possible that could be his type of play on a weekly basis. he couldn't have possibly been put in worse situations so i prefer to look at his quick decision making and release, his accuracy and ball placement. i think a lot of people will be surprised in camp and pre season. do i want foles, mccarron mayfield...yes i do, but who knows what they are thinking.

that's what the whole mccown thing is /was about. he certainly has the accolades as to becoming a qb coach. the point of having him is that we are gonna start a young qb whether it be nate or a rookie and be insurance as well as a coach. i myself think peterman in his sophmore year can make the same kind of stride that goff and wentz made. the kid could actually be good and one thing is 100% for sure is that our passing game will greatly improve and we will score more points....and our draft pick will also benefit from his presence. tasker's take is not stupid. they may just in fact be determined to hang on to their picks and take rudolph or maybe mike white. who knows, maybe they will land baker, but i think they are intent on bolstering the roster first and foremost.

i would be blown away and i guess that when the music stops with free agent chairs, things could look a whole lot different. however, snatching up a.j. mc carron and keeping our picks would be my favorite outcome. i'd take vea and hurst to combine with washington and williams. 4 man rush....done deal.

maybe he's the humble ,blue collar, family guy whose made plenty of money and just wants to go to a good hearted town and fan base and help them to achieve glory. he was born and raised in an area similar to the buffalo burbs and not far from the lake. who knows? tom brady is far from the highest paid player....

i'd be fine with this. maybe we can grab d. wolfe when he gets cut and maybe get h. phillipps in the 2nd. idk edit: i responded too fast because i think the most important thing in this draft other than settling the qb situation is getting an absolute beats dt. i'd love to find a way to get both vea and hurst or vea/payne/harrison. if we don't figure out how to have a vicious 4 man front, we will be in the same boat as post dareus. if we can land one or 2 studs in the draft or one draft and one fa, we won't need to be talking so much about our lb corp. actually we don't need to do much at all. draft one good lb in the 2nd, re-sign brown. put lorax on another one year deal and use him at de on passing downs. we have milano. tanner, rookie....etc. point is we need a beastly front 4. -
Ranking of Realistic Veteran QB Options

nathan is a better qb than tyrod -
i'm probably going against the grain here, but i think guys likes foles and a.j, may be more focused on being in a winning situation than trying to be the highest paid qb ever. brady is the best qb of all time but he doesn't demand to be no. one in terms of money. i also feel cousins may be of the same mold. the best place for his family....the best place for him to thrive...the best place for him to make his mark/legacy. everyone assumes these guys are all about greed, but i still believe in some guys having values....and with our fo, just maybe one of those guys feel they want to take buffalo and it's fans to the promised land. something good is about to happen. i believe. if i was at that point, i think i'd prefer to be with family at home and just let things unfold. just seems like it would mean more to me....plus i wouldn't have to worry about how many beers i've had... -
This should be the Bills plan at Qb

no.2 we don't need a low level vet . with nate having another camp, he will be fine starting. no.3 i would assume bradford would be maybe the only option for us and for the rest of the idea , i'd be on board with that for sure.
