I know OBJ/Jets has been floated but A) They don’t even know how much they need to clear for Rodgers yet, let alone OBJ and B) Doesn’t OBJ want a multi-year deal?.. No guarantee Rodgers plays more than one year. I wouldn’t rule them out, but Bills Mafia might begin to riot if the Chiefs trade for Hopkins and Jets sign OBJ. Obviously Beane doesn’t care what we think but that would be doomsday on here ha.

Dallas WR room is quite similar to Buffalo’s. WR1 Lamb WR3 Gallup They recognized they need a legit WR2, and trade for Cooks. Let’s hope, with Dallas likely out of the OBJ running, we get a deal done soon. I speculated 2/30 in another thread … it’s starting to looking like 10M per, maybe less, could get it done on a multi-year deal.

I wonder what Sununu’s moral compass says about America getting involved with similar wars and genocides in Africa. Oh.. that’s right… there’s no American interests on that continent. Actually.. let me correct myself, we have recently been involved in Yemen as the Saudis dropped American weapons on innocent civilians. Moral compass .. code for American financial interests at the expense of innocent lives, both Ukrainian and Russian, as we encourage a proxy war that Ukraine can’t win.

That doesn’t necessarily have to be a NY/NJ team. Anyone making 6M per year is going to pay a ton in taxes no matter where they live/play. Obviously NY is another level, but rich people in Texas & Florida still complain about federal taxes.

The Cincy game & its affect on how we view the team
SCBills replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t feel like KC (or Cinci) are teams that are head and shoulders better than us. That CIN game, after 13 seconds, really makes me wonder if we can win it all with this coaching staff… but in terms of talent… I’m not freaking out. There was more at play than just getting whipped… we looked SO BAD… like, bizarro world bad. Id chalk it up to a culmination of a nightmare season, but given how the prior year ended, it’s tough to give out mulligans. I do think we’re more talented than both teams, defensively, but this is an offense-driven league and both teams have surrounded their QB’s with more talent than Allen has (currently). Still waiting to see if the philosophy changes… so far, inconclusive. -
Trump’s Post Presidency—What Will He Do?

As long as you’re consistent … Now, if only our justice system wasn’t corrupted. -
The media is going in on the responses Trump and DeSantis gave Tucker … as support for this new forever war is beginning to slip, it will be interesting to look back at their answers a year from now - in the middle of a presidential campaign - and see how they stack up against our newest MIC-appointed POTUS.

Trump’s Post Presidency—What Will He Do?
SCBills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Do you believe they should arrest Joe Biden’s son on tax and gun charges? Should those who funded the BLM riots be prosecuted? Should those who participated be locked up for years? That’s what this becomes. Whoever controls the power, just goes after their political opponents. We’re venturing into third world country territory. Every institution is politicized, the media can’t be trusted and politicians look to censor and prosecute those who oppose them. -
Its certainly been … interesting. They must’ve targeted McGovern from jump because they locked that up QUICK. Then we spend more on Deonte Harty than Parris Campbell got?… Seems we had competition for him, so maybe he’s going to show us why this year. Poyer re-signs, Kyle Allen backup QB and a few low level/ST’s re-signings. Then… crickets …. People signing all over the place for wildly cheap deals at positions we could upgrade. Deonte Harty reportedly took less to sign with us due to the fit, so maybe the inverse is happening with some of these guys against us.. or we’re just not interested.

Id trade for a WR (Jeudy).. If it’s between straight up signing OBJ or trading for Hop, I’d rather just sign OBJ. Yea, I’d trade for Henry. He’s the only RB I’d do that for. Not Cook, not Ekeler, but yea, I’d do it for Henry. Running a freak like Henry into light boxes is a gamble i’m willing to entertain.

Would be the grossest move of the off-season. Singletary makes no sense on this roster.
-
Other teams have Bernard’s and Spector’s playing for them. Contenders even. There’s no reason, other that utter draft failure, that a RD3 LB and RD7 LB who both spent a year on the active roster can’t be in play for a starting spot on a team that is loaded with investment at LITERALLY every other position on Defense. Dodson seems more like a depth/special teams guy given how we value athleticism. If I had to guess .. yea, we’ll draft a LB. And I’ll get it, but I’ll also throw up in my mouth unless Free Agency takes an unexpected turn.

People who have contacts somewhat in the know have floated a 3rd. Id be over the moon if we got a 3rd for Oliver. Im thinking a 4th or 5th. And I’d gladly take that to clear his 10M. Maybe we truly do have him in our future plans, but top flight DT’s are getting PAID… and if Oliver becomes that this year, we can’t exactly afford him… If he doesn’t, why would we want to pay him? So, like Edmunds, it’s looking like a play out the option and walk situation. Unlike Edmunds, he hasn’t been anywhere close to the level of player Tremaine was.
-
It’s honestly anyones guess how he’d fare here. Yes, some of what you say is correct. We could probably trade for him and extend him for another year at a reasonable price given he’s a RB and all he has to do is look around at what’s going on in FA right now. The pitch.. do you want to take a bit less to play a couple years for a Super Bowl contender that won’t run you into the ground? Also.. Titans were running him into heavy boxes… That’s not happening here.
-
It’s definitely a risk. I don’t think he’s getting 20M. I do think 2/30 could get it done .. especially if Hopkins goes to Dallas and takes them out of the running. We could fully guarantee his salary this year, with Davis still here, and then leave ourselves an out next year if it could be structured that way. We all understand this. We also have a moveable piece making 10M. Of course any wild ideas require sending Oliver out of here for a pick. We do that, and yes.. quite a bit is possible.
-
Lots of smoke for Hopkins to Dallas. Me, personally, I’d rather try to sign OBJ at 2yr/30M without giving up picks than trade for Hopkins. The ultimate all-in move for me (that doesn’t mortgage the future) -Trade Oliver to recoup our Day 3 pick / clear 10M -Sign OBJ -Trade for Henry / extend past this year -Extend Hyde to match Po -Extend Daquan Jones We still retain our RD1, RD3 and three Day3 picks to address LB, Safety depth, OL & DL. Two year window with: Diggs/OBJ Henry Von Hyde/Poyer White Morse(?)/Dawkins Then a whole bunch of cap starts coming off the books as we look to retool around Allen.

DeSantis For President in 2024?
SCBills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
We’ll never agree on this. J6 politicization, like the Covid overreaction, is something that looks worse and worse when seen under the light. “they’ll suffer the same fate as the insurrectionists” What a disgusting thing to say. Maybe you are my enemy .. I certainly want nothing to do with anyone that thinks like you. -
Two things: 1) Shows how poorly the Bills FO has done in giving Allen help that, likely, a good portion of the fanbase would pull the trigger on 27 for Jeudy 2) As mentioned above, it’s pick 27 in a weak draft. Jeudy has WR1 traits, and it’s a crapshoot that someone similar is there when we pick, furthermore.. that we’d even take a WR there.

DeSantis For President in 2024?

Read my posts. CLEARLY I don’t want that. You know who does? Establishment media, grifters like the Lincoln Project and self-aggrandizing trash like Alvin Bragg. Trump gets indicted and plays the victim card throughout the campaign cycle … good or bad for his Presidential prospects? -

Im not a Republican. I tend to vote Republican as of late, but I don’t pledge loyalty to police, institutions or our corrupt justice system. -
DeSantis For President in 2024?

You aren’t thinking clearly enough … You really don’t want this for our country. These past few years have started in motion precedents that will forever change this nation. You think people view their fellow Americans as enemies now?… just wait. -
DeSantis For President in 2024?
SCBills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
They’re going to make Trump a martyr this week because New York, once again, is a joke of a state. Once indicted, he’s going to gain support and the base 30% of the country that loves him will become absolutely rabid. I want DeSantis to be the nominee, but I’m not sure he stands a chance after Bragg pulls this bs.
