  1. Have to think they were dead set on Broderick Jones. Taking all the time tells me they were searching to trade out and couldn’t find a partner.
  2. I'm not sure I see them drafting a pure slot if they trade for Hopkins. This coming year, with Diggs - Davis - Hopkins, along with Shakir and Harty both being inside/outside guys, Diggs would likely be featured a ton in the slot. And while Diggs game should age well, as he gets older, he likely becomes more and more of a slot option.
  3. 17M views as of 12:30 pm, the day after he tweeted his video at 8pm last night. 740k likes Over 60M impressions Tucker routinely beat out Rachel Maddow for Democrats.. not total viewers.. literally more Dems watched Tucker than Maddow. New Media is the way. Platforms like Rumble and Twitter, free from political pressure and advertising revenue dictating what can and cannot be said. Tucker could end up partnering with Elon to broadcast directly through Twitter via subscriptions. We are watching the death of traditional media .. and by extension, the death of controlled narrative.
  4. Certainly notable…
  5. I’m not sure what DeSantis plan is, but as someone who desperately wants him over Trump, he needs to figure it out … and fast. He’s allowing Trump to define him, mainly by misrepresentations and lies, but defined he’s becoming. Im getting to the point where I’d rather just let Trump take the nomination and sink or swim. Either way, this is his swan song. He either wins and serves his remaining 4 years or loses and becomes a disgraced GOP pariah with only his die-hards clinging to his dying grievances. Then let DeSantis, Youngkin, Suarez etc fight it out for the future of the party, post-Trump.
  6. It’s still so wild to see Democrats so brazenly simp for powerful corporations.
  7. Tucker Carlson’s video from last night is currently sitting at 15.6M views and almost 700K likes. One has to wonder if Tucker could be the first independent journalist to broadcast directly through Twitter. It’s certainly interesting that this is the only avenue he chose to release his video. Rumble makes sense as well, as they’ve been dropping huge money to secure some of the biggest young influencers migrating over from YouTube and Twitch. One thing is for sure, as Russell Brand stated, where Tucker goes will tell us a lot about where the future of independent media is heading. The powers that be are losing their grip on the narrative. What we are seeing is their dying last gasp at control.
  8. That was tough.. yeesh. I went Bergeron. Get a guy in here to legitimately challenge Spencer Brown for RT. Might be interested in trading back up with packaging our 2nd and 3rd to try and get one of those DT's, if possible (or vice-versa to grab Bergeron) If we could come out of Day 1/2 with Hopkins, a potential starting caliber RT and one of Bresee/Benton/Smith to replace Oliver... that's a home run draft weekend no matter what we do on Day 3.
  9. Going to need someone to explain how the Jets are dealing with a $107M cap hit next year. I’ll assume void years, as the most positive Jets fan likely hopes Rodgers plays this year and next. Pay him 50M next year and then take on 25M in dead cap for ‘24 and ‘25?
  10. As much as I can appreciate a good grammar burn, all I’ve seen in this thread from posters who dislike Tucker is attacks on the poster/not the content, along with repetitive vague criticisms peddled by those who told y’all to hate him.
  11. I’m good with the Rousseau pick. I’m hoping he comes into his own this year .. the floor is decent, but we drafted him for his ceiling. The Basham and Bernard picks are types of picks that shake your faith in this Front Office. Literally every fan hated the picks at the time … and thus far, have been proven correct. Despite what we think, I doubt many of us want to believe we know more about drafting than the people paid to do it for our team.
  12. So, that would lead me to believe we have a deal on the table, pending acceptance from AZ. AZ willing to accept unless someone comes to them with a better offer before the draft starts up.
  13. This should be a must watch for anyone in your life that has been told they must hate Tucker. Three progressives discussing him (Jimmy Dore, Aaron Mate and Kurt Metzger)
  14. Trade Oliver for a mid-round pick to clear 10M in salary. Use pick 34 or 59 on a DT. 1) To replace Oliver. 2) So we have a DT under contract beyond this year. 3) If they plan on going small at LB, it’s not ideal to also have a small 3T. But, hey.. if they trade Oliver somewhere to facilitate a trade-down Hopkins acquisition, by all means McBeane, draft a DT and a LB in RD2. If they truly are hellbent on extending Davis .. that still works. His cap hit can be managed in ‘24 while Hopkins is still on the books for 15M.
  15. I want the one seed. Enough of this nonsense where, somehow, someway, KC always has the easiest road to the Super Bowl. Making sure CIN doesn’t have a divisional cakewalk helps that goal. It’s already absurd, no matter where Hopkins goes.
  16. If we don’t get him, Hopkins going anywhere but KC is a win. Throw CIN a real threat in-division if Lamar can stay healthy.. That’s fine by me.
  17. All the neolibs cheering Tucker’s ouster, mainly because they’ve been told to cheer.. Meanwhile, here’s the leading Democrat challenger to Biden, who is currently polling at 20%. When Tucker reappears, wherever, I’d encourage some of you to give him a chance. You won’t agree with everything he says, but he will open your eyes to quite a bit.
  18. Agreed. But for the time being, his voice in cable news was so important. Now all that’s left is Maddow, Hayes and Hannity types. Pure propagandists, with zero nuance and no willingness to take on the powerful. All controlled opposition.. working for different sides, but on the same team.
  19. Tuesday ratings are in. Fox News actually dropped viewers going from the 7pm slot to 8pm. Fox News Tonight came in at 1.7M. Down from Tucker’s recent average of 3.3M. Also lost to MSNBC in the key demo (25-54) for 8pm, of which Tucker absolutely crushed. Newsmax saw a 5x increase in viewership during their 8pm hour.
  20. I just wonder if there's much of a market for a trade back at 27. If there's not, might as well just offer the swap to Arizona and take whoever you value the most at 34, while keeping six picks in your pocket.
  21. You’re just regurgitating the same talking points I’ve addressed. Why do you assume I consume hours of Fox News? I watched Tucker, and that was about it. Hannity is an absolute joke .. and is truly the person who more resembles your angst, yet it’s Tucker who riles up the left … and it’s not because of what you say … it’s because he resonates. …and furthermore, he resonates with young people and independents.
  22. It makes sense... Bills don't want to give up one of their six picks. They stay at six picks by a pick swap. Arizona, wanting a 2nd, compromises on a trade up equivalent to a 3rd, which nets them another 1st round pick. Makes a lot of sense for us and optics-wise.. a lot of sense for Arizona. Also gives Arizona the 5th year option on a guy they value in a rebuild.
