  1. Cool. What should we do about it? Try answering without being emotional or with hysterics. And is your preferred side willing to take the political hit of going after gun ownership? It will likely be akin to what Republicans have had to deal with post-Roe.
  2. If these polls stay consistent, Dems may be forced to primary Biden.. ABC has Trump & DeSantis up by 7 nationally over Biden. WaPo, Trump up 6. If a Republican is even up by a point or two nationally, that’s a potential bloodbath electorally.. let alone 6 or 7 points.
  3. Theres some crossover in political affiliation and gun ownership with the rapid increase of gun ownership amongst black folks. However, southern black people are a very different type of Democrat that northern white people nowadays… especially black men. It’s how one of the most conservative, pro-life, pro-2A Governors in the country (Brian Kemp) has a 62% approval rating in Georgia and won over a ton of black men in his recent election. Despite how loud the gun control side is, amplified by the media, all the polling shows it’s a losing political position in America. People are starting to realize the goal of these people is to repeal 2A. Because you are correct…. These people come out and say uneducated things like “we need to ban semi-automatics”, not realizing that normies all over the country own semi-automatics. It’s the slippery slope conundrum. When the govt has over and over again abused their power, especially recently with covid, tech etc., one side gets completely dug in on not moving an inch and the other side let’s uneducated, bad faith voices become the loudest …. In other words, a typical day in America.
  4. What’s the answer? Don’t say “stop them from getting guns”… how do we stop them? So often we see people who shouldn’t have guns, have them. The laws we have in place either were not enforced or were bypassed. Megyn Kelly is right when she says the gun debate is over. Anti-2A folks lost. We need to move on to other shooting related topics to try and stop this constant gun violence … both the mass shootings the press loves to talk about and the gang violence that they don’t. I dont own a gun. I’m definitely open to a rational gun control conversation … but the more I hear from performative folks on the gun control side, the more apparent it is that they either don’t have a solution and/or simply want to repeal 2A.
  5. Activists blocking subway trains now. Good times. I’m sure all the passengers trying to get to and from work, and stuck in the tunnels, are happy to sacrifice their day for performative clout chasers.
  6. I do .. and now the Chiefs have played in 3 of 4 and won 2 of 4. It is extremely difficult. Some teams figure it out. Im simply telling you that, while we have had some valid excuses, at a certain point stop talking about luck … because some teams make their own.
  7. 2 of the last 4, played in 3 of the last 4. Not sure that mistype is worthy of an “lmao”. Arguing that it takes all this luck yet two teams in recent memory found a way to dominate the conference.
  8. Its really hard, except the Chiefs have won 2 of the last *4 and been in 3 of the last 4. Before them, the Patriots were regularly playing in, and winning, Super Bowls. Patriots had the luxury of playing in a weak division year after year. Chiefs, with Mahomes, have yet to play a road playoff game. As much as we want to talk about peaking at the right time and injuries (which have NOT been kind to us recently with Tre White and Von Miller), the regular season matters… Get the ****** one seed. Bills path last year: Dolphins, Bengals, neutral site Chiefs. Bengals path last year: Ravens, at Bills, at Chiefs. Chiefs path last year: BYE, Jaguars, Bengals. It matters.
  9. If we’re talking public perception, nobody should be getting mad that certain pundits/publications will rank Burrow over Allen. Nobody cares that Allen played with a torn UCL for half the season and had a bottom tier OL with mediocre weapons and a team that ran out of gas heading into the playoffs… He played poorly in the final game anyone remembers from him. Against Burrow, who played well. Going into the season, Allen was viewed by many as the best QB in the league. Their last glimpse of him was the 13 seconds game. I’d take Allen over anyone. He’s the most physically gifted QB in the league. He’s never had the weapons Burrow has had or the coaching/protection Mahomes has. My sincere hope is that Beane finally came through for his QB so that we can see his talent shine through without being let down by those around him.
  10. To me, Burrow is the closest thing this generation of QB’s has to Brady. That certainly doesn’t mean he’s going to be as successful, but he just makes the right read and takes what the defense gives him 99% of the time. He doesn’t have the physical talent Mahomes and Allen have … they are in a league of their own, albeit with different skill sets, but both of them can get frustrated and force the ball down the field. Burrow will literally go the entire game throwing 0-15 yard passes if that’s what you’re giving him.
  11. Chiefs play us at home, have a slightly easier schedule (depending on how the divisional opponents turn out) and have proven time and time again to find a way to play all of their post-season games at home. Makes sense. Interesting that we’re tied with CIN. They have, on paper, a much easier schedule than us.
  12. Allen played half the season with a torn UCL. Also, it is what it is, but Allen plays in (likely) the worst passing weather in the NFL.
  13. It’s so tiresome to see y’all label anyone that disagrees with you as MAGA… but please, we must save Ukraine above all else! Thank goodness support for this proxy war is slipping, and there’s not much neolibs and neocons can do about it. In the meantime, at least Kiev knows how to party during this war. The girl to guy ratio is amazing .. oh, wait…
  14. Gonzalo Lira, journalist critic of Ukraine, being arrested/disappeared by Ukrainian military is yet another fantastic example of why we’re simply funding a proxy war against Russia .. this isn’t preservation of democracy … the country is simply a lesser evil of corruption and authoritarianism.
  15. It’s def not 100%, I’m sure most Packers & Bucs fans don’t think they got better. Titans fans weren’t happy after they traded AJ Brown. There’s likely a few fanbases every year they think they got worse. But, yea, most certainly have hope that they got better.
  16. With Lawrence signed, Quinnen Williams is definitely going to want something between Simmons and Donald.
  17. Oh, some of what you say is valid. Allen being healthy just is what it is. Maybe he gets hurt and actually misses time next year, but as a contender, you have to hope that your QB doesn’t suffer an injury like a UCL tear in your throwing elbow halfway through the season. If we’re being honest, Allen probably should’ve missed time last year. With Von, again, it is what it is. Just have to hope he doesn’t have a season ending injury. As does KC with Chris Jones. Good points about Saffold and Bates … although Bates is fine, and should be better in Year 2 Kromer (which again, projection, but is a “thing” as mentioned by many players under Kromer). Oliver was a disappointment. Most of us did think he’d breakout last year. I don’t think the majority of the fanbase was expecting White to be lockdown. In fact, many people worried White would never be the same .. which was a huge talking point in needing a RD1 corner. Brown was a worry that came to fruition. Injured all off-season and many worried he’d be a liability. So, while, we had high hopes .. not everything you allude to was discussed in rainbows and butterflies.
  18. Well said .. and it’s not homerish at all to say we’re much better going into this coming season than we were going into last season, let alone once the injuries hit. We downgraded one position.. Middle Linebacker, with Edmunds leaving in Free Agency. We upgraded the following: QB - Allen (now healthy) OG - McGovern & Torrence EDGE - Von back DT - Poona added S - Hyde back TE - Kincaid added Nevermind expected improvement from guys like Elam, Shakir, Knox, Harty, White, Brown and Year 2 for Dorsey & Kromer. We also play in a loaded division, within a loaded conference with a really tough schedule. Jets & Dolphins have Super Bowl contender talent and the Chiefs & Bengals have a lot of the same reason for optimism that we have, along with the experience of actually making it to the Super Bowl. We don’t deserve to be called a SB favorite due to the past, but talent-wise/expectation-wise… 100%, we are.
  19. I don’t know that we will be so drastic that we look like some of those post-injury Allen games last year, but they have done quite a bit to address the running game… -Year 2 in Kromer’s system. I’m hesitant to rely on this, but quite a few former Kromer players talk about making jumps in the second year of his system. -McGovern is a pass pro guy, but Torrence will absolutely help the run game. Beane is correct in saying he probably helps more in the pass game early on, but Torrence next to Brown gives us a mauling right side of the OL. -12 (11.5) personnnel. Kincaid isn’t Knox when it comes to blocking, but he’s an average blocking TE. Bills should be able to take advantage of situational runs when teams try to defend him with a DB. -Harris & Murray. Zero doubt in my mind, with these signings, that the Bills want a traditional short yardage/goal line run attack. Better pass pro and an effective short passing game is what we truly need. I think they addressed that, but in doing that, they also should have a better run game to turn to when they so choose.
  20. It seems like DT play might be more important when the MLB is a bit undersized. Also, have to wonder if they got sick and tired of playing injured DT’s and calling up PS squad guys all last year. Unless traded, Oliver is a lock, same with Daquan and Poona. Settle seems like a cut candidate BUT he redid his contract and apparently played hurt all last year so…. And Phillips is actually good, when he’s not hurt.
  21. If we don’t make any additions, hopefully we can enter the season with a healthy DT rotation of Jones, Oliver, Poona and Phillips because that’s a lot of potential firepower from that group to offset any lack of firepower off the edge until Von comes back full throttle.
  22. My prediction, without anymore additions as of May.. Dawkins McGovern Morse Torrence Brown Quessenberry Edwards Bates Broeker Doyle Im going Broeker over Boettger because, reportedly, he’s a Bates type player than we can cross train to play all 5 positions in a pinch. I also think Beane is beyond sick and tired of having developmental guys poached .. and unlike Tenuta’s random metrics last year, this guy seems like a Kromer type prospect.
