  1. I don't love the idea of needing any help Week 18. Hopefully it's all squared away by then (aside from us needing to take care of our own business). Who knows which playoff bound teams have what to play for in the final week of the regular season.
  2. In looking at the cap situation next year, the fact we have some contracts coming off the books and/or moveable down the road and who we have under contract, I'd absolutely make Floyd and Jones priority re-signs .. perhaps with some void years that we eat and hope Beane keeps hitting on his drafts. We're rock solid on Offense with our OL, OL depth, QB1, RB1, WR1, Slot WR, TE1, TE2 etc.. We will definitely need 1 or 2 WR's early in the Draft to infuse that group with some young talent. On Defense, we're set at LB and I'd honestly say we're fine at CB, with Douglas, Benford and Elam. Cut Tre and we might be able to take a swing at Floyd... it might take cutting Poyer too though. If there is one place I absolutely trust McDermott, it's at coaching up the secondary. Draft some DL & WR early and then empty the clip on Day 3 secondary picks. That's my view on how we can keep the DL dominant and find the money for Floyd & Jones.
  3. Ahh yes … must be Q MAGA to oppose a former President being removed from a ballot via lawfare. Good luck with this .. you just handed that clown a mountain of ammo to win back the normies.
  4. I don’t want to hear a peep from the “threat to democracy” crowd. Id love for him to be removed from the ballot, but I also recognize lawfare is not the way and is emblematic of the type of third world bs we claim to be against in developing nations.
  5. From Dallas Board: If both win out - PHI Miami game only matters for Dallas for seeding and if Philly loses to Arizona. If Dallas loses to Miami and Philly loses one of the Giants games, Dallas wins division.
  6. Drew Lock made some BIG TIME throws on that drive.
  7. Dallas.. there’s only one thing left to do.. Win out and take that division!
  8. Serves Seattle right for for constantly calling timeouts on 4th downs because they can’t make their minds up.
  9. A lot of this is on QB's. If you want to get down.. get. down. Stop waiting until the last possible second to slide. More QB's are getting concussed from late shoves after they throw the ball than they are getting lit up on a late slide.
  10. Everyone except Edwards and Ifedi are under contract for next year. I'm not messing with it. I know we can save some decent cap by cutting Morse, but this OL is too good to play games with.
  11. Would be super cool if Dan Quinn can figure out how to stop what we exposed yesterday. Dolphins don't have the OL we have, but you know McDaniel (probably) will test them with Mostert & Achane.
  12. The way this plays out, it seems like there's two scenarios: The game is for the division, and potentially (maybe likely) the loser is out. OR Dolphins win the next two and have nothing to play for against us.
  13. Yup.. Browns had a come back win against... the Bears. Bengals did the same against the Vikings with a street FA QB. Schedules have definitely played a part.
  14. I'm pretty close to being fine with going into next year with Poyer, Lewis and Rapp at Safety. Buy us a year to focus on WR and DL this offseason/draft.
  15. It’s part of why I didn’t even mind the obvious Dodson personal foul on Dak.. you could tell they were out for blood. That defense was violent unlike anything I’ve seen in a while. Have to imagine McDermott emphasized physicality all week.
  16. Probably not. Tampa is leading the NFCS by tie-breakers and actually looked good today. Jax plays at Tampa next week. Could drop to 8-7. Would just give us another shot at eliminating two AFCS teams getting in over us if we win out in that one unlikely scenario where every possible thing goes against us.
  17. Hopefully they have Hankins back at DT. Also, Dallas isn’t “that” bad on run defense. We just brutalized them. Miami’s OL isn’t as good as ours and Dallas doesn’t have to account for Tua read option runs. Miami home field isn’t Buffalo and hopefully Dallas Offense shows up.
  18. He had two drops today before he changed gloves. Last week Allen definitely went to Knox a good bit.. and Knox looked good. Not really much I can read into it though… one was Knox first game back and today we literally ran all day.
  19. Trevor Lawrence is DETERMINED to not score points tonight.
  20. James Cook is turning into the next Alvin Kamara before our eyes. The type of talent at RB, with a receiving skill set, that probably makes the Bills contemplate a second contract down the line. …especially given he was barely used at UGA.
  21. Jags seem like a team that could lose tonight and then somehow lose to the Bucs in Tampa .. a team somehow leading the NFCS by a thread right now.
  22. Mooney literally had in his bread basket and then spazzed
