  1. Seems like the Union has negotiated higher pay and less working hours, while avoiding a work stoppage for almost twenty years. Isn’t that what the Union is supposed to do?
  2. Simple, I’m disinterested after every loss starting early Monday through around Tuesday mid-afternoon. And then I snap right back into my cycle of dependency. Yes….it’s a problem, but I’m dealing with it.
  3. Probably true, but he seems to have a bit of a nasty streak when he’s in bulldozer mode. I’m guessing he’s doesn’t make for a pushover to go up against for an entire game.
  4. I’m sure you know that Josh isn’t from Wyoming. He’s from central California. And trust me when I say these two particular newly weds are not sweating over the price of real estate. 😉
  5. We can all kid but it’s really interesting to see the route taken to assemble this O Line. For example, both of our starting Tackles came out of small schools and Dawkins was listed as a Guard. (Something I’d forgotten.)
  6. Right? Hard to believe they were able to turn the unit around with a couple of simple, rather inexpensive, but strategic changes. Feels like the pieced together a decent poker hand after drawing what looked like not much of anything. Health and the continuity that goes with it have been a huge help.
  7. So, assuming you’re right, what’s all this about? Would you say she got suspect legal advice? Or is this just an attempt to inflict a quasi public bloody nose?
  8. This was bound to happen. Hailee wouldn’t want to be in Dana Point when they’re in California. It’s nowhere near the entertainment industry hub.
  9. Penn State? Ya can’t trust anyone who roots for a team that can’t afford a logo on their helmet. 😂
  10. I love you Augie….but you’re simply not getting it. That’s okay.
  11. Probably because it’s really hard to have philosophical conversations on a football fans message board. 😂 I accept the heat for trying to go there.
  12. With all due respect, that is NOT what I said Augie. But it’s clearly what you think I said.
  13. Morning Doc If you’re referring to my posts, I never once said that the prevailing party isn’t ’entitled’ to the punitive damages…not once.
  14. Thanks. I was thinking more along the lines of insurance against nuisance lawsuits. (And before people jump to conclusions…I’m not saying this is one!) I’m not sure how it would work, or how much you’d have to pay in premiums but it seems like you can get insurance against just about anything as long as you’re willing to pay for it. Athletes have been known to get insurance on their knees or shoulders. Maybe the very existence of such a policy would make you even more of a target, but I could imagine all sorts of claims being filed against young athletes who suddenly come into big money.
  15. It’s essentially what professional liability insurance is. With all these young athletes coming into immediate money, I do wonder if they get insurance policies against just such a claim. I can imagine there’d be all sorts of instances when it’d come into play.
