  1. Let him sit for 1 year.... maybe 2yrs.... Investment for the next decade. this pick was about 2019/2020..... be patient and let it play out.
  2. Great post. Sign Dez... Sign another CB and lets get this thing going. It aint about 2018 (these moves scream 2019++) , but we still are looking up! Love the Beane/Mcdemontt blueprint
  3. Controversial selection for sure.... But weather you were a fan of Josh Allen before tonight or not..... EVERYONE in Bills Mafia should support this guy. Get behind him, help him succeed, suppport the cause. Lets trust the new regime and new leadership. They have earned our trust with the playoff drought ending. Josh Allen in 5 years will be fantastic player. patience
  4. I wouldn't have given up anything more than a 4th... woulda offered a 5th & 7th. 3rd is pricey
  5. ALL ABOARD THE JOSH ALLEN TRAIN!! Remember it aint about next year.... its about the next decade. Trust the process, let Josh Allen sit, learn, improve... and reap the reward when Brady is gone!!
  6. Agree.... Trust the Process.. Trust Beane... Trust McDermontt..... .... even if that means Josh Allen. Support the pick and lets get behind it.
  7. 1. Sam Darnold - Giants 2. Josh Rosen - Bills 3. Josh Allen - Browns 4. Baker Mayfield - Jets 5. Lamar Jackson - Ravens Bonus: Bills Pick - Josh Rosen BONUS BONUS: Bradley Chubb goes #1 overall to the Browns.... #1. Chubb (browns) 2. Darnold (Giants) 3. Mayfield (jets) 4. Allen (Browns) 5. Rosen (Bills w/ trade)
  8. I fear the Browns will go Allen or Mayfield at #1. This would greatly screw us because then the Giants will go QB (Darnold) and then 3 of top 4 QBs would be gone before Bills even got a fair shake at any of them. We are boxed out of top 3 picks, so we NEED a non QB to be selected at #2 overall. Think about it. Darnold going #1 actually helps us.
  9. Would love some Rashaan Evans at #22.... if we could come away with one of the Josh's at QB and Rashaan Evans that would be a pretty fantastic draft haul. Get er done Beane!
  10. Beane will make the right move and one of the Josh's will be the pick. Get onboard people!
  11. I'd be pumped/excited/happy.... Josh Allen is going to be good. Just give him time & trust the process
  12. Just my opinion but: Josh Allen > Patrick Mahomes I know I will get flamed for this comment, but just my honest opinion based off tape. Maybe I am a "projection" guy like Kiper, but i see big things from Allen a few years down the road. Reminds me a lot of Ben Roethesburger.
  13. Josh Allen is anything but a nightmare situation like the majority of you think. He's ultra talented and going to be a great pick. let him legitimately sit for 1 year (like 3rd string behind Peterman & Mccarron) and let him get comfrortable in the NFL lifestyle / NFL playbook. Then cut him loose in 2019. Long term investment. It will pay off if nutured correctly and given the necessary time/coaching he needs. Patience.
  14. Baer Mayfield. Think hes massively over hyped by media
  15. Buffalo Bills fans are hands down the best fans in the world. With that said everyone needs to get on the JOSH train ASAP. It is pretty clear to me that the dominos are falling in place that the Bills most likely will be selecting a Josh (Allen or Rosen)to lead our beloved franchise for the next decade. For me this is music to my ears, as I am a big fan of both Josh Rosen and Josh Allen. I highly recommend everyone getting on board with either and supporting either selection (please no divide like Tyrod situation). Trust the process!! Have faith in the direction Beane and McDermontt have been building. The way I see the draft going is the Browns selected Sam Darnold #1 (the Mayfield & Allen rumors recently are just BS... when dust settles it will be Darnold at the podium). With Darnold off the board the Giants will go ahead and take Saquan Barkley. Jets will go either Rosen or Mayfield, with it looking more likely being Baker Mayfield wearing the green/white. Browns will then go Bradley Chubb at #4 (no brainer). #5 is where the Bills strike. Beane will call upElway and trade up to this spot with one of the Josh's on their mind. Case for Josh Allen: I think Josh Allen makes a lot of sense for the Buffalo Bills. McDermont and Beane have both made comments over the last year describing a big strong pocket passing QB that Allen is a perfect mold of. His physical traits are phenominal, he has height, weight, hand size, speed, overall atheltism that makes you want to drool. He has a great head on his shoulders, very intelligent (37 wonderlic score), and has relently work ethic that is shown by his family background and history in getting to this point (JUCO with 1 scholorship offer...etc). His personality and physical traits are taylormade for the city of Buffalo and this fanbase. He comes from a pro style offense, is use to being under center (another trait McDermontt/Beane are high on) and has been very savy with the media in through some tough questioning. No doubt he is a bit raw, completition % is a concern, but the he would come into a great situation with sitting for a year while McCarron does his thing. You draft him knowing he shouldn't play a down in 2018. But this is a bigger investment, one that will be reward for the next decade not just shortsighted for next season. All these Qb's are a gamble to some extent, why not gamble on an Elite Talent. Go big or go home https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wu02kt6kmsw&t=17s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9499HwtDBH8 Case for Josh Rosen: Josh Rosen is the protype cerebral QB. He is pocket passer that is very intelligent, throws with inticipation, knows X's & O's and is clearly most ready to play right now. He would compete with McCarron in 2018 for starting job and also fits with what McDermontt & Beane have outlines for there QB. I think the personality concerns are way overblown and think Josh is not a concern. Has some injury concerns (head & shoulder) and the fit in the city of Buffalo would be a bit odd (concerned Josh may not love it up here vs. other options - NYC, Miami, Arizona). Overall Rosen is highly skilled, knows his craft, and would be an instant face of franchise for the Bills. I think he is a bit undervalued do to the media blowing up the personality concerns. Would be a great pick https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVjs_EhU_qA&t=1s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m46pwgi8-hA Summary: Both players have their Pros and their Cons. Both would be great fits for Buffalo Bills for different reasons. Either Josh I completely support and recommend the rest of y'all to do the same. Go Bills!
  16. No idea why so much hate on this board over Josh Allen. The goal is to win a Super Bowl, correct? What potential better way to do so then pick the QB with the most potential and most atheltism at the position in the last 5-10years. He would come into a great situation where he could sit and learn for a year. Let McCaron start in 2018, then after a big offseason next year in which we have $90 million in cap space, he would come in, & start with a (hopefully) loaded roster. It makes too much sense. Its not all about 2018.... its about the next 10 years. Gotta look at the bigger picture here. Beane and McDermontt are buidling for longevity and future... clearly eyeing 2019 and beyond for continual success. Trust the process.... Draft Josh Allen P.S. I will support whomever the Bills pull the trigger on (preferable Josh Allen, Rosen, or Darnold tho)
  17. If we somehow keep #22...... Rashaan Evans needs to be the pick. Dude is a heat seeking missile. Would be great in McDermontt's Defense and Daboll would beable to put in a good word. trade up: #6: Josh Rosen #22: Rashaan Evans whatever pick we have left: Wide Receiver
  18. Well written. All aboard the Josh Allen Train!
  19. I totally disagree with the overall vibe of the forum in regards to Josh Allen. I personally would be pumped to add Josh Allen. Yes he is a little risky, but the dude has one in a generation tools/athletism for the position. He clearly needs to be coached up but there are soo many things going in the positive direction in my opinion. He would fit the Buffalo market perfectly (big strong hardworking blue collar farmer kid) and he also would be going into an ideal situation with AJ McCarron in the driver seat to start this year. Give him a year.... maybe even 1.5 years to sit and learn, get comfortable, adapt to the NFL game. It could pay off 10x over. If i am gambling (which ever draft pick is to some extent) I want to gamble on a kid with the height, weight, skill set, and good mental makeup. Go big or Go home.
  20. This is a perfect fit. We lost our center, a good one just became available. He has connection/friendship to one of our players (Richie) which is great recruiting tool, he is young (28 yr old), and he will want to beat up on his old team twice a year. Get er done Beane! Any idea what the price tag would be on him?
  21. Since he is being released, would he count on the Comp Pick Formula??
