Man this is why I really wanted to play the Steelers. I knew the Colts would be a tougher game than the Steelers all along. Now let’s just hope the Browns actually give KC a real game.

I am going on record as saying the 2 seed matters because Pittsburgh will beat the Browns today because Baker will find a way to suck up another game even against a backup QB. I am not in the Camp that says the Steelers are guaranteed to lose their first playoff game. That matters and if we win 1 game and get stuck playing in KC the next week because we wouldn’t play Allen and Diggs a full half to get a lead I will puke.

Best case outcome : Josh leads 2 straight TD drives, Tua throws an early pick and our backups hold down the fort, we win and finish 13-3. Worst case outcome: Our first team is sloppy looking for the exit because they know this is like a preseason game. Phins defense and run game looks much more motivated and we lose by 14. Pittsburgh wins and we play the Ravens next week. Doubt creeps in......

I prefer to see someone who had proven it at the pro level. That kid had real skills but doing it with the talent playing a across from you in the NFL is different. Today when he hung up there for that midfield floater he would have been lit-up by any NFL team.

We are not resting anyone. We need to win 2 games to lock up the 2 seed. There is ZERO way this team sits around just being OK with the 3 or 4 seed. Any team with a brain knows you need to put off facing the Chiefs for as long as possible so being the 2 seed is a necessary goal above all others. Every other team below that should fear us, not the other way around.

The reality is the Jets fans should be more focused on dumping Gase and loading up on real quality weapons and getting Darnold right. They can trade that 2nd pick for multiple high picks to some dumb team willing to take a shot on some mediocre QB like Fields. They then would have a boatload of 1st and 2nd rounders to retool with.

I always wonder why they don’t use sandlot words that are counter intuitive like “No” or “stop” to start a quick count ... because our brains do react to words and the “No” or “stop” means “wait”intuitively. That half second brain delay would mean a delay on the defensive reaction and it’s why I would use it once in a while.
