  1. Problem is they screw you without it: Sunday Ticket w/YouTubeTV: $299 (+$73 for YT TV) Sunday Ticket without YouTubeTV: $399 So basically it's more expensive to buy just Sunday Ticket. Nice! ๐Ÿ˜ก
  2. Ruben Brown also made 9 x Pro Bowls (and 4 x All Pro as well), but many Bills fans still don't think he was that good! Do we think Jason Peters was worthy of all 9 Pro Bowls, or did he coast off his name & previous achievements for the latter ones? ๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. Well yeah, we definitely need help there, but don't expect much to change at this point. I think they're pretty set for this year. I hope when some cap space opens up they do what KC did a couple years back & go all in on revamping the line. I think Torrence will be good (though not sure he'll start) & McGovern will be an improvement, but it's still not a great unit. Morse is getting up there too, so soon we won't want to ignore C either. Then again, I've been crying about O-line being my #1 issue for 2 years now & any help is appreciated.
  4. I'm still just happy knowing we don't have to be waiting through a month of these games wondering how many times we'll see the guys we actually want to see. We're half way through already!
  5. It's funny to hear Bills fans still act like RBs are a dime a dozen, when we haven't found ourselves a great RB the entire time we've had Allen... If it weren't for Allen himself, we'd have terrible team rushing stats. Then again, it's a team effort. The OC, the line, and the backs need to all work in tandem.
  6. We should all get that, but I responded to the original post claiming there was "NO benefit" to extending him now. I simply pointed out there was. "Any time, not just after the season" presents the same dilemma. If you play wait & see, you lose leverage the further into a good season you go. And if you do wait until end of the season, you're almost guaranteeing he leaves. He has a great season - can't afford him. He has a bad season- you let him hit FA. He has an average season- you only extend if the player doesn't think he'll get a better shot elsewhere & you don't have better options. So it seems like most of the board is willing to just hope for one great season out of him & saying goodbye.
  7. LOL I forgot about this... But that reminded me of Richie Incognito, who also had some nutty moments after his last season in Buffalo. Did those lead to any arrests? I can't remember. ************************************************ While we're on the topic... Who wants to get PERSONAL?! How many of you guys have been arrested? I'll go first. ME! Three times... all in like a 1 year span from age 18-19, and all due to expired inspection stickers which went unpaid & became warrants ๐Ÿคฃ And shockingly, 10 years later I managed to get hired at the Sheriff's Department working corrections.
  8. I would too. I'm just saying that there actually is a benefit to extending him now.
  9. Sure it does. The benefit is you save money if he has a monster year. If you wait until after that happens, he's going to command a lot more money than had you signed him now. So sure, you can say "wait & see," but just know that at the point you do see it, it's already too late.
  10. Can we go back to crying about being "disrespected" again?
  11. I've often felt that way... IN THE MOMENT. After I've had time to cool down, I think it's most incompetence & poor officiating. There's just too many things that have to go a certain way on any given play that to conclude "rigging," would require far too many leaps in logic & just absurd assumptions to be accepted... The only games I really still have questions about across ANY sport are all related to the NBA. Even then it's not to the level of rigging from up top, ingrained in the institution like WWE, but rather select individuals doing it unbenknownst to those in charge. Like the 2006 NBA Finals. I still can't watch those games & not feel the refs weren't trying to give Miami the series via D-Wade free throws. So many phantom calls if anyone so much as breathed on the guy. It made for a terrible watch back then, and a nice conspiracy now.
  12. Inflation is one thing, but this is absurd. Wages aren't going up. Construction costs in the state are just out of control. Spending nearly $2 billion (or even more), for an outdoor stadium, no chance of ever hosting a SB, in an area that has no shot at encouraging surrounding development, and that will only be used a handful of times a year is even more inanely wasteful than these things already are. Even more crazy is that there's a chance the team could STILL be pushed out of games due to weather & be forced to fly to nearby DOMED stadiums that actually planned ahead for such things. How embarassing is it if you pay $2 billion for this shiny new stadium that will get used 8 times a year, just to lose one of those games because of bad weather & have to fly to Detroit again? Even less return on investment.. for the one city that could use a roof more than anyone else.
  13. Hurts, Lamar & Allen are all Tier 2? It's because he's black Isn't it?! I'm just asking, because I don't see color ๐Ÿซ
  14. Ah, so this fabled matchup again... At this point, I don't think the Bills will ever meet the Niners in the Super Bowl. Fate has determined it will never allow it to happen ๐Ÿ˜…
  15. That sounds just so much better in every way. You get one more chance to convert a low % play, only now using your best players. Feels like that would also make it more skill-based & less dependent on getting a lucky bounce.
  16. I'd much prefer this over what we have now. I'm against eliminating kickoffs entirely, as I want ST plays to still matter & have the opportunity to impact the game in more areas. I'd prefer the OG rules, but the injuries obviously make that untennable. So this is a good option in lieu of that. But since I'm not familiar with XFL rules, how do onside kicks work with this format?
  17. If we're gonna play that game, the Bills don't trade away the #10 overall pick in 2017 and take Mahomes or Watson (ew). Then again, I'm sure the Bears wouldn't have taken Mitch Trubisky at #2 either, so I guess we'd take whoever is left from those 2 ๐Ÿ˜…
  18. My conservative estimate is geared towards Dorsey rotating him in for 2 TE sets & empty backfields trying to spread the field. In that situation, I can see him used to create mismatches in the redzone or attempts to stretch the field. He may have numbers similar to Gabe Davis's rookie year, with slightly higher YPC (not than Gabe, but than my higher est). But if Dorsey commits to using him a lot more & gives him significant reps in the slot, he may lean more towards Cole Beasley's numbers and used a lot to move the chains. I don't think TD differential will be that much, but he'll have a more opportunities in the offense.
  19. ***Conservative Est.*** 45 receptions 540 yards 4 TD's ***High Est. (If Dorsey actually utilizes him in the slot more than 2 TE sets)*** 65 receptions 770 yards 6 TD's
  20. I don't care what anyone says, it's still cool to see a Bills player getting national recoginition in ads. Call it a distraction or whatever you want, but I still enjoy it. Peyton Manning became a much more beloved player after people saw his personality shine through in ads, so hopefully it'll do the same with Josh ๐Ÿ˜
  21. Apparently, he was also one of their linebackers... ๐Ÿ˜… "After the Bills received the kickoff, captain and LB Lou Saban intercepted a short toss in the left flat and rambled 39y for the final TD, the first of his pro career. As he reached the EZ, he started to throw the ball into the bleachers, then changed his mind, and clutched it firmly as he trotted to the bench."
  22. Oh god, that play sums up a consistent fear I've had the last few years watching games. A 3rd & long always feels like an inevitable conversion... When the Bills do make a stop, I'm more surprised (and relieved) than I feel should be normal. The best example to describe the feeling is that I feel more relaxed on 3rd & 5 than I do on 3rd & 15. It should be the opposite right?! I hope McDermott really does change that.
  23. Bring back Vontae Davis!
  24. Just reveal the 90's red helmets with blue accents to match our current uniforms. Nothing else needs to be changed! Also, what are the rules on field designs? Could we have a 90's era field throwback with red endzones? I dunno, I'm getting tired of everyone getting a white helmet redesign now... But I'd be lying if I said it doesn't look good. Either way, better than a lot of those black alternate helmets.
  25. I think all of us fans can understand exactly where he's coming from. The stuff that gets under people's skin are the cryptic social media posts & letting speculation brew far too long. Everyone appreciates keeping it in house, but when you post the cryptic messages for millions to see, it inevitably leads to people making their own assumptions. That just opens the door for teammates & coaches to take on additional heat, and staying silent (or amplifying it with more Tweets) for months, doesn't exactly scream "keeping it in house." Anyway, still love the guy, still glad he's a Bill, and still support him 100%
