  1. Good job Allen, you made a play. Let's keep that up.
  2. Too bad we know Allen tends to come out of the half like he's learning football for the first time. Maybe this will be the one 3rd quarter we don't completely crap the bed.

  4. Uh oh, looks like the Bills offense is going to have do their job soon.
  5. Maybe if we get several more turnovers, just by sheer volume we may get in FG range on one of them by default. Otherwise our offense is playing like our offense. Content, to do basically nothing and hope at some point we catch a break or two.
  6. Since we know Allen can't hit deep passes, it's almost all downside in doing so. INT returned for a TD, injury to a key player, turnover that sets up a FG with a deadly accurate kicker from long range... The least likely thing to happen is Allen completing a deep pass, and especially one that leads to points.
  7. I'm telling you, it's always going to be anyone but Allen. ALWAYS.
  8. C'mon, these takes are getting dumber by the moment. You just want to blame Daboll for everything. MCDERMOTT is the one who determines what we're going to do that drive, not Daboll. Wow.
  9. At some point it would be great to see an offense that punishes teams for committing turnovers. The Bills must be the safest team to commit turnovers against, as most of the only threat is a little extra time being taken off the clock until you get the ball back again.
  10. Oh gee, notice how when breaking down the INT they're explaining Allen's mistake? Hmmm but yeah, "bench Beasley."
  11. Idiotic take. EVERYONE knows Josh has a problem throwing too damn high, and when you rocket it like a missile in combination with throwing that high, a receiver having to make a catch like that is way more difficult than it ever needed to be.
  12. Josh throwing too high to an open guy yet again. Leads to tipped balls or getting the receiver killed, but I'm sure it'll just be easier for fans to blame Beasley because he technically had a chance by touching your the ball...
  13. That'd be nice, but there's only about a 25% chance the offense does anything with it.
  14. And Allen did mess up, so he deserves criticism. He praised Allen all game until then, so let's not act like he's got some axe to grind.
  15. They need to make Minotaur looking ones for the Bills, not actual Bison since it can't fly around & look as cool. Make it more like a jacked up mascot Billy the Buffalo. Some large, satanic looking monstrosity that starts small and rises from center field holding a football in one hand and a pitchfork with the opponent's mascot on the other, all while roaring & having flames shoot out of his eyes. In other words, a truly terrifying experience that'll make children s*** their pants.
  16. It's about damn time. It's 2019, I can't believe this is still an issue... Progress is slow, guess it just takes the oldest generation to slowly move out of power & make room for new blood to get policies changed.
  17. Weak D's have given this unit trouble all year though... The offense has really only had one complete game all year, that was against the Dolphins (game 2). The Cowboys game was setup with great defense, multiple turnovers, great field position, etc. limiting what the offense had to do. We know 100% for a fact that this offense can not win in a shootout with anyone. Our team needs too much time to settle in and figure things out, and if we need to start throwing more, the less likely we are to win. I believe our D can keep any game close, but not one QB we've played is as talented a passer as Mahomes. That said, I understand where you're coming from. The Bills offense just doesn't elevate itself against good teams, and they would need to play better than ever to keep up with the Chiefs offense.
  18. The first round bye really does give a huge advantage to that team. There have only been 10 Wildcard teams in the history of the league to make it to the Super Bowl. Also, home teams in the NFL have a 64.7 win% (highest in the 4 North American pro sports). Also, think about how often that helps old man Tom in his history? One less game makes it that much easier on his decrepit, geezer body. The majority of the time the team with the first round bye at least advances to the Conference Championship game, so it'd be fantastic to have. We kind of blew our chance with that last week, so you may be right in that resting our starters would be better for us. That is unless we have a chance of not having to play against KC... I'm not sure what scenarios would get us out of that, but that seems like a really bad matchup that I'd like to avoid at all costs lol.
  19. I'm hoping the defense can really carry the game this next week. The Steelers are 6-1 in their last 7 games, only losing to the Browns. The Bills haven't been good against the handful of good teams we've played this year, but our defense has risen to the challenge each time, and we're facing a 3rd string QB. Allen's just as likely to play like doo doo as he is decent, so I'm not even going to bother predicting what he'll do anymore. But if the defense can continue to stop the run, we'll get good field position and get FG's out of it at worst. They've held the best rushing offense to only 118 yards, a team that consists of Lamar Jackson & Mark Ingram, and team that got the ball OFTEN due to our ineptitude on offense, leading to constant punts. That's impressive. And the prior week they held the 10th ranked rushing attack & 5th leading rusher Zeke Elliot to 103 yards. The Steelers rushing offense is 24th in the league, and their passing offense is 31st. Our defense should have a field day with that. If our offense, as pathetic as they can be, can just play a semi-competent game, we should win. * * * * TL;DR - Bills ***SHOULD*** win given the matchups, and having a great defense facing off against an abysmal offense. But our offense can shrink in meaningful games, Allen can look like he's throwing a football for the first time, and receivers can suddenly start having bricks for hands, so you never really know.
  20. Hate? No lol. Frustratingly annoyed by - yes, absolutely I just want to like him so bad, but he makes it so damn hard sometimes.
  21. At least the refs tried to make up for it at the end. Getting all those calls was the only way our offense was moving the ball lol
  22. All of that would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that Allen, not the defense, prevented many big plays from happening. When the defense is already beat and your target is open, the only things that ruins that is the QB or the receiver. The first half was the QB wildly missing guys. The second half we had key drops on good passes. That isn't a product of good defense, that's a consequence of bad offense.
  23. I think at that point it comes down to division wins, so yeah, losing to Miami would give us three nod. If not, it comes down to common opponents right? We lost to the Eagles, they beat them. We lost to the Browns, they beat them. We both lost to the Ravens, so that's a scratch. Even if they lose to the Bengals somehow, they're still up on us there. So yeah... losing to the Dolphins looks like the only real way we can take the division aside from them aside from straight up better record.
  24. Pats just lost in an eerily similar fashion. 4th down in the redzone, down 23 to 16, just over a minute left, need a TD to tie it up. Fail to convert. Back to back losses, and 21 home winning streak over. If Allen and the Bills are going to redeem themselves, they need to go into NE and rise to the occasion. The Pats are beatable. The division title still up for grabs. The offense crapped the bed tonight, but they have an opportunity to prove this Bills team is more than just a product of an easy schedule. Beat the Pats and send Brady limping into the post season (and hopefully into retirement shortly after ?)!
