  1. The guy has been out for over a month. Of course he is going to take time to get back. If he is gone it's because of cap space not some bizarre notion about not performing in the playoffs I don't really agree. It's a top heavy WR class, outside the top early round 1 guts it's the weakest WR class in a while
  2. I don't think there is anything you can offer. It comes down to how important being local to Buffalo is, and which offers he may get. A job like the Chargers might offer a lot more than say the Jets.
  3. It looks like the Jags will get Lawrence now in the draft, and have multiple QBs already. How would people offering a late day 3 pick to get Minshew as backup QB? He'd be cheap, shown some talent in a terrible offense and importantly is more mobile than Barkley so offers an easier fit if needed to play.
  4. I disagree. Logan Thomas hasn't shown anything beyond an average TE at best. The Washington offense has nothing at receiver beyond Mclaurin, and a few passes to McKissic at RB. He is a product of being their number 2 target and you have to throw the ball to someone. Kroft or Knox would put up the same if not better in his circumstances
  5. And so far they haven't got one. He has been a serviceable player on a bad line or a backup on a good one. So a day 3 pick is fair value. He'd be behind Ford, Feliciano and Spain if he was still here, possibly Winters.
  6. OCs like Eric Bieniemy who has developed Patrick Mahomes haven't become HCs. At the current rate, he'll get interviews, but none of us know how he'll interview and bear in mind whilst he success in the NFL as an OC, he also failed. And before Buffalo, Daboll wasnt successful as an OC in the NFL with any QB.
  7. No he isn't. There are never enough vacancies to go around and college football is loaded with good coaches at the moment, and teams would love to have the next Kingsbury or Rhule
  8. I disagree. Next year Epenesa will be critical. Both in terms of contracts ending and cap space cuts we needed to get a pipeline of DEs. Its a really old group, and we needed to get someone in to develop. It's been shown later round CBs are far easier to find than DEs.
  9. It's what was being said yesterday. They were being smart about who did and didn't have to go through waivers. At least this way although they were reliant on Roberts and Marlowe sticking to an agreed deal, it's far less risky than via waivers where the player and Bills lose control
  10. Vedvik. Means you cover both kicker and punter in 1 player
  11. I'm genuinely intrigued to see what happens now he actually has a proper NFL Head Coach who knows something about offense.
  12. Vincent Taylor has been claimed by the Browns per Tom Pelissero. No other former Bills on his list
  13. Ultimately how much difference does it really make, how many absolutely traditional 4-3 snaps does the team play. Lines blur in terms of use
  14. Its a mix, varies by conference. Some have cancelled, some are playing, some have changed schedules.
  15. I was thinking CB. I think we have DT depth, and if the team think we didn't they already had the talent and wouldn't have released them
  16. Until waivers clear it's hard to judge, we've only done the release part, and there is some notable talent available to sign
  17. In practical terms, he isn't being. It's been widely reported its a very short term move with the IR situation and certain players needing to go through waivers. If that's what you've been predicting, fair enough, but I don't think it is.
  18. 49ers journos suggesting they may be announcing a trade, so that's 1 possibility
  19. I don't think it's around him. Its around the complete disproportionate social media attention to a fringe roster player, people are tired of the coverage. He gets more typed words than many of the rest of the roster put together
  20. And bear in mind, there will probably be more after waivers if the Bills make successful claims
  21. Nathan Petermen has NFL TD passes, I don't think he is an NFL QB. Williams had a good CFL career, he got a go at the NFL, it didn't work out, move on.
  22. Vedvik makes sense for the PS. It means if you get a late positive Covid positive test, you can cover both both kicker and punter in 1 PS spot
  23. I don't care about 1 play. I'm judging in 4 years since he left college he has less receiving yards and TDs than Devin Singletary, a commitee rookie RB.
