  1. The Broncos didn't get ahead of the Bills......it occurred well after the Bills 1st round pick and well before the 2nd
  2. This draft more than any other shows the pointlessness of instant draft grades. If the developmental players reach their potential it is A+ easily. If they don't it could be an F.
  3. Looks like a DE to me too. I'm not a fan of changing players weights massively without a clear reason just for the sake of it. Epenesa clearly played differently in his final year at Iowa because of the extra weight, that wasn't the case here
  4. A trade back, there were plenty of options I liked and think they could have elevated one of the 5ths to a 4th.
  5. But the prospect of Bobby Hart playing OT is far worse than Ike Boettger playing G.
  6. No. He's too tall, but it means you could put Williams inside if needed
  7. Pretty obvious. The plan is to pay Josh Allen and slashing the cost invested in the D line is how they will afford it
  8. We'll have to agree to disagree. For me, based on this draft, and what was available they made absolutely the best decision, and the way round 1 played out, with less OTs going than expected only reinforced that No they didn't. History has shown a decent percentage of the picks will be busts. And I think it would be a statistical astonishment if those confined only to the NFC
  9. But its easier to get by with a solid LT rather than elite one, than it is a WR2 instead of a WR1. Exhibit A : The Buffalo Bills with Diggs. If you downgraded Diggs but upgraded Dawkins it would make the Bills worse. Not really. It's 1am or 2am in Europe. It was getting light when the Bills picked.
  10. The one pick in mocks I never understood was a QB to the Falcons. Matt Ryan is uncuttable for 2 years with his contract cost so they would have lost half the cheap rookie QB years
  11. It's absolutely the opposite. You don't pass on WR1s, they are in massive short supply in the league. There are maybe 10,if that. There a lot more solid LTs about. Yet curiously wasn't selected despite a significant number of teams late in round 1 having a need for him.
  12. Depends, there will be some very solid starters there. It's a great OT draft. At WR you're already in WR2 or 3 territory by then Its the obvious way to maximise value from the draft.
  13. Yes. The round 2 OT for them will be starting level. They ain't getting a WR1 there
  14. I disagree. The difference between Chase and Round 2 WR is much bigger than Sewell and a round 2 OT. The overall value was obvious to go WR then OT not the other way round
  15. If Zaven Collins is there and we pass, it better be for a superstar. Collins would be a perfect pick.
  16. Outside the really obvious, that would be my answer So would a rookie be, and if you read the articles about what happened last season he DID NOT spend the year away from the team, being the Covid protected backup did not mean being away from the team
  17. I'm pleased for him. He's earnt the right to compete for a starting job. Hamsah Nasiliredeen just seems such an obvious pick as a replacement in the draft . Versatile, strong tackling and high football IQ.
  18. Nope. He's on the roster as a specialist special teamer and not an RB. He's an RB only because the league still hasn't realised there should be a special teamer position designation
  19. What has that got to do with Giovanni Bernard?
  20. He's a far far worse runner, and given there aren't many receptions spare with so many good WRs, I'd much rather prioritise a running back who can run well over a guy who caught a volume of dump off passes because the Bengals O line was terrible
  21. He's an older, less good version of Breida.
