  1. Because generally teams looking for new HCs aren't good teams with good QBs?
  2. Of course you didn't. Given you can't answer the points raised that was more than obvious
  3. Its obvious in retrospect that Tom Brady should have been drafted earlier. Value is judged at the time, and they got value. Where were these reports at the time, any reports, that Teller had elite potential?
  4. Not surprising. 3rd round picks are normally last
  5. No. They got a developmental guard. He later turned into an All Pro Guard. That's very different. No. Claiming the Bills traded an All Pro Guard is spin. They didn't. They traded what he was at the time. And when they traded him, he wasn't All Pro, or anywhere near it.
  6. He wasn't given away cheap. He was traded for a fair price for what he was, and what people expected him to be
  7. You might have a point if it was 1 game vs 5. But it's 4 v 5.
  8. So would you advocate getting rid of McDermott, Beane and Schoen then? All higher in the decision making process
  9. Is a list of players. Well done. It's remarkable how much power the 4th in line in personnel decisions has apparently. Obviously nothing to do with the Head Coach, GM or Assistant GM.
  10. I'll be polite and suggest your logic is a tad suspect
  11. As expected. Joe Schoen will surely get a GM chance soon. It's a sign of a good organisation that you develop talent, but don't stand in their way as they progress. Shows other talent that Buffalo is a good place to come. Helps the Bills in the long run to let staff develop but let them progress on
  12. Without official combine times you may as well ignore 40 times year.
  13. Yeah, an aging expensive TE with diminishing production is just what we need when are struggling for cap space as it is.
  14. That's been a trend the last few years. Basically days 1 and 2 is BPA with a element of need factored in, and day 3 that need element becomes more prominent or at least viability to make the roster
  15. No thanks. Give Knox one more year, and if it doesn't work, start again from scratch at TE next year That was my feeling. Which was made it even worse by the fact that the other guys are being quoted off pro day times this year not combine numbers so basically any WR not running a 4.3 is slow. We'll never know how quick this years draft class is, but it's certainly slower than the numbers suggest
  16. My favourite pick. If he stays healthy he's gonna be a monster. I predict he'll take a least one jet sweep for a TD this year that will have the main network pundits going crazy. He'll take Mckenzie's and Roberts spot and free up a spot elsewhere
  17. They needed a John Brown / Andre Roberts replacement given Mckenzies fumble history, but they could afford to wait. Stevenson may end up having the most significant year 1 impact of this draft class, if he stays healthy he's gonna be a monster. In a year without proper combine number so everyone looks fast because of pro day numbers, he actually is.
  18. But if you look at that in the context of another comment he made, at the Senior Bowl last year IIRC (its on YouTube somewhere) he also referred to Touchdown Makers on offense as opposed to specific positions on offense. I'd suggest it leaves the inference of the home run hitters open. And that it was a broader point on speed, not an absolute need of a type at a specific position
  19. Correct on both. The obvious candidate is Miami at 36 they wanted ahead of. People are misinterpreting the pre draft home run ability comment to mean RB. It could equally mean WR which made more sense as they lost Brown at WR and Roberts as returner, and they addressed it with Stevenson. Who addresses both Because they lost Yeldon and Breida is a proven veteran at a sensible price with a complimentary skillet. You need 3 RBs.
  20. Why? Moss was looking good before his injury, Breida is a good change of pace RB and Singletary is fine as an RB3, plus Williams is there too
  21. Breida is a good RB. Some people are still on the Duke Williams train, they aren't ready for the next one yet
  22. Can't see them getting rid of Bates, his positional flexibility is too valuable as a backup, he's a rare case of being able to play all 5 spots on O line. I think Anderson has a tough path to a roster, a practice squad candidate more likely
  23. He's a good player. Came up in 7 round mocks for the Bills in the 5th and 6th rounds, could definitely see him sticking around Griffin too. Those 2 are the clear standouts of the reported signings so far for the Bills
