  1. Do you honestly think they would have overturned that "not clear and obvious" call in our favor?
  2. But interestingly, Josh had a higher on target rate on short and medium passes last year than MVP Lamar Jackson.
  3. Doom. GLOOM! What if WE had our best game, huh? What if they had a BAD game? Why stress over unknowable hypotheticals?
  4. I'm pretty sure my wallet suffered a compound fracture and dislocation. Look for it to win Comeback Cash Receptacle of the Year after the pandemic. The butt however is lost forever.
  5. That's why I said it would be weird.
  6. I'm not going to hold my breath on them also being bad next year. Covid opt-outs returning, a lot of cap space to spend, and a better than usual draft spot. It will be the perfect year for the football gods to screw us and have them actually hit on their picks when everyone thinks they finally are dead and buried.
  7. Maybe I was still grumpy and not awake yet when I saw the updated title at 7am, but I was like "Why would my broke butt donate to support his family I doubt his grandmother was the breadwinner and Josh has a good job" in the back of my head.
  8. I didn't see "daylight" between his foot and the white turf on the views they did first have. All it takes to fail that challenge is the possibility for the tip of a single blade of fake white grass to touch his foot. So yeah, keep the reeling defense on their heels and rush to shove it in with Josh rather than burn a time out giving them a breather. *edit* Also, didn't see clear evidence of the ball going over the pilon. Too many moving parts and maybes on this one.
  9. After the Rams' phantom INT along with the new one for the Ravens, do you really trust the replay booth to overturn this ACTUALLY close play and not waste our time out? Was this play clear and obvious enough for them to reverse the call on the field? We were playing their darling Seahawks, not a chance.
  10. I actually forgot Epenesa existed. Would be weird for our top pick to go PS though.
  11. Yeah I wasn't watching him closely, but I wondered if he was really having a good game, or just had a couple high visibility good/lucky plays. Reminded me of watching the CB Diggs, who was lost and outmatched in one game, but had a couple lucky INTs fall into his lap so he was lauded as having a great game by people who only follow stat lines.
  12. Same here. I figured the Seahawks O would wake up and start scoring points, but this time I didn't have that sinking feeling in my gut about being able to stay ahead of it.
  13. No, but it's considered insulting (because you're showing you don't trust them) to count the money they give you as a payment for whatever.
  14. The argument that he took a third step to qualify as a "football move" is such a huge stretch. It's using an incredibly loose definition of what a step is. To me a step is made after you've demonstrated control of the ball, which he couldn't have seeing as this all happened in the same motion coming down the the ground. It says in the rule that you have to show that you have control. That is exactly the argument being made by Ravens fans. They're going for "technically correct" and it's BS. I argue that the "third step" wasn't made with clear control, as the rule requires.
  15. Oh so basically "you don't count the money from the mafia guy/drug deal".
  16. I would have been 9. So, I guess 9 year old things. I was more into hockey and baseball around then.
  17. No, they were talking about how much they lost by. 38 - 3 = 35. Which is indeed more than 31.
  18. Even if we had a bad QB, you still don't look a gift horse in the mouth (what does that even mean exactly) by NOT taking your chances throwing on a team giving 300+ pass yards to EVERYONE. How a good coach like Pete doesn't recognize that is wild. Then again he IS the guy who decided to not give the ball to Lynch on the 1 yard line and reuse a passing play the Pats had already seen...
  19. I was blown away to hear about Pete Carrol admitting they expected us to just run on them, when they have the worst pass D in the league? Seems like disrespecting Allen and thinking the first 4 games were a grand fluke. If that's the case they deserve the fat L.
  20. This is the weirdest LAMP I've seen in a while.
  21. B-b-but the geniuses on the Bills Facebook groups were calling for him to be traded/benched and have a replacement drafted because he's played terribly 4 weeks in a row now and has clearly regressed to "rookie Josh"!
  22. Who do they have at RB with Mostert and Wilson Jr out? Feels like saying we'll be fine with Yeldon and a practice squad call-up.
  23. On a whim I focused in on two plays at random when the Pats were on offense against us, and on literally both of those plays there were "clear and obvious" uncalled holds where we were robbed of a sack or a TFL. Yes that is a small sample size, but I don't think it's a coincidence.
  24. But he can catch a "cold" apparently.
  25. The default header on the order form for the trophy says "Insert name of QB on team with best record here". I would never wish illness or injury to ANY opponent. But sometimes I find myself somehow not minding terribly if they miss our game before making a full recovery...
