  1. I'm asking because I'm also Canadian (Southern Ontario) and was hoping they would be local to me too.
  2. I know this is an old thread/post, but how much did that cost and where did you get it done? Always been meaning to get Bills ink. Almost did back when we had that MNF opener against the Pats with the McKelvin fumble.
  3. I'll never get over that way they describe injuries sometimes. "So and so has a groin". Boy howdy, I sure hope they do.
  4. Daboll poaching Bills cast-offs? This is my shocked face. 😐
  5. Which means we will win by exactly 9 points, if the Packers game was any indication.
  6. Have you actually followed any real life copyright court cases? Cuz I sure as hell have. I'm really interested in knowing how you came into this belief that Fair Use only applies to "official" news outlets.
  7. I still love my best friend despite his questionable sports gambling habits, but I also still give him crap for it. Don't see any reason to do any different for random athletes.
  8. I'll admit I completely forgot about Rhodes lol. Tre, Rhodes, Dane, Elam, Benford.....I think we're good down the stretch.
  9. Again, who are we sending a 2nd for (or in a lot of demands, a 1st), that is not only an appreciable upgrade on what we already have (as in they'll actually make a real difference, we know many players would be "upgrades" over 3rd stringers and whatnot), but won't require kicking cap hits down the line?
  10. People seem to forget that we were, and still are, Super Bowl favorites. Josh was, and still is, the favorite for MVP. We still are going to get Tre back. Beane wants to win ALL the Super Bowls. He's not going to nuke our future, trading away all our draft picks like the Rams, or leave us in cap hell for a decade shoving money down the line just to claw the "win now" window open another fraction of an inch. Demanding all these moves from Beane literally goes against what he came here to do in the first place. We got rid of the bad contracts and dead cap, we're drafting well, we have potentially the best roster in the league, and people want to throw that away for years to come because they want to scrape diminishing returns on an already elite and dominant team?
  11. No, it doesn't matter. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what Fair Use is or what copyright law covers. "Competing for views" is irrelevant, because his objectively unique content is not a direct replacement for whatever content the NFL is putting out. He's not rebroadcasting the games, he's not making merchandise using the logos, nothing like that. The images are merely being used for illustrative and commentary purposes. Yes, he makes money making his content, but again that is irrelevant. The money he makes are from his advertising deals and other tangental agreements, not directly from his use of the logos. You're arguing from the bottom of an extremely slippery slope, where you're not allowed to cover or talk about anything as long as it "competes" with the NFL in some loose tangential way. EVERYONE has access to Fair Use. It is not something unique to formal news outlets.
  12. Nope. Being an "entertainment show" doesn't exclude you from Fair Use, that's not a thing. It still qualifies as commentary, criticism, and news reporting. It is transformative by nature, and is not acting as a substitute for the original use of the copyrighted works. He is not claiming to represent those entities, nor is he doing things like making merchandise using those images that would replace sales from official sources. His use of the material is not the basis of the content he creates as the source of his income. The commentary and criticism is.
  13. I guess you've never heard about this little thing called Fair Use. Literally thousands of content creators and news outlets legally use the NFL's content without issue, and the one they go after is the one paying them millions of dollars a year just to cover them.
  14. Found the box score hero who only looks at win loss records without context. You're impressed by San Fran and Minn?
  15. Considering it's about 3x the diameter of the hole it would have to come out of, don't think it's passing on its own. I appreciate the pun tho heh.
  16. By definition that's not a penalty. Outside the pocket so he's a runner, didn't slide, cutting back in to push for a first down. Now as I was typing that he gets blasted again, karma lol.
  17. That's what I was wondering. I would have been interested if I wasn't currently dealing with a large kidney stone.
  18. He did say during the segment that GB could/would win outright.
  19. I'm not making a mistake at all, the recent stuff I've watched is entertaining. His cohosts know he's a troll, he knows we all know he's a troll, and they play off that. He's actually pretty funny if you watch him live.
  20. You'll NEVER guess who Nick Wrong picked as a team to get upset.
  21. I mean, we spent a lot more than that on the likes of Sanders and Crowder, so I'd be down for that. I bet Josh could get as much out of (a sufficiently motivated) Watkins, at least in the injured Crowder's case.
  22. Eh, I'd kick the tires if only for the petty reason of seeing if Josh could make something of him when Mahomes and Rodgers couldn't lol.
  23. Call me crazy but 1/3 into the season feels like WAY too early to be talking about playoff seeding.
  24. Ah, good ole Arto Sinbum. Named so for being the cause of most of the ***** laws this side of the Mississippi. As for mine, I wanted a new name on Twitch. A common streamer practice there at the end of a stream is to post a link to a friend's or whatever active stream and send your viewers there, which is referred to as a raid. I remembered someone in high school doing a one man band skit for a talent show, so I settled on 1ManRaid. I became a weirdly famous viewer in some channels for the notion of being a perpetual solo raid.
  25. I'd file this alongside lack of YAC under "things that only look like a problem if you ignore context", also known as "cherry picked stats Twitter trolls will latch onto to claim Josh is overrated". "No matter what the reason is" is just about one of the most ignorant things someone can say. I'm not surprised QBs who do a lot of either deep passes or checkdowns away from the D-linemen don't get tipped passes.
